Twilight awaited for Luffy's response after asking to join him. Luffy tipped his hat shading his eyes. Sighing, he then responds.
"I'm sorry Twilight." Luffy apologized. "But you can't run away from your problems."
She began to cry as she says, "What do you expect me to do!? My friends left me, and now I have nowhere to go!"
"No Twilight! Your friends are still here!" Luffy claimed.
"Then prove it!" She demanded. "They've been acting funny ever since Discord played with us!"
"Fine! I will!" Luffy declared. As he began to get out, he said, "And don't forget Twilight. They're my friends too."
She was a bit taken back being reminded that Luffy cared for them too. Feeling worried, she chases after him.
Luffy went to Sugar Cube Corner to find Pinkie throwing out and wasting food. Luffy, being taught never to do that, was ashamed of this speculation. He went into the store and called out to Pinkie.
"Hey Pinkie!" Luffy called. He gave a wide smile, making Pinkie on the edge.
"What are you smiling about?" Pinkie questioned.
"I'm just so happy to see you!" Luffy replied. "I was worried when you started acting funny."
"FUNNY!?" Pinkie shouted as she pushed Luffy down. "You say that you're worried about me and then you say I act FUNNY!?"
"What's wrong with you?" Luffy questioned with his smile disappearing.
"What's do you mean by that!?" Pinkie questioned as she grabbed Luffy and threw him out the window. "Don't come back!"
Luffy slowly got up and brushed off the glass. Twilight ran to him and asked, "Luffy! Are you alright!?"
He picked up his hat and puts it back on as he said, "It's nothing."
"Now do you see what I mean!?" Twilight yelled. "They've changed."
"I don't care! They're still my friends!" Luffy shouted back. "I'm not giving up on them!"
Luffy ran to his next destination. Twilight, feeling more and more concerned chases after him.
Luffy found himself at the boutique. Though he wasn't best friends with Rarity, he still came to see if she was alright. As he peeked inside, he saw Rarity clinging onto a boulder. She was overly attached to the object, and beside her were the rest of the elements.
"Hey Rarity!" Luffy greeted.
Rarity turned and glared at Luffy. "What do you want?"
"I just wanted to see if you were alright." he claimed.
"Don't fool with me mister! I know exactly what you're after!" Rarity rebutted. "You're after Tom!"
"Tom?" He repeated.
"My glorious, wonderful, shiny Tom." She said as she pets the boulder. "I know you're after it since you ARE a pirate!"
"That's a rock." Luffy pointed out.
"You're just trying to trick me in order to take him away!" She shouted. "Well it won't work! And while we're at it…"
She walked up to Luffy and eyed the straw hat. She then snatched it off of Luffy's head.
"HEY!" He scolded. "Give it back!"
"Since you want this so much, then I want it!" Rarity explained.
"Knock it off!" Luffy said as he stretched his hoof to take back the hat. He ran out the door and pursued for the next destination.
As Applejack was relaxing about, Luffy ran into the scene and calls her out.
"Applejack!" He called.
She groaned as she said, "What? Can't you see that I'm apple bucking?"
"No."He plainly answers as if it wasn't a big deal.
"Well I am!" Applejack lied.
He laughed as he said, "Come on! You know we're bad at lying! Remember?"
Applejack held onto her head grunting before retorting, "Ha! Says what you know. I'm a great liar."
"Not really." Luffy said honestly.
Applejack's head started to swirl before she kicked Luffy away. "Get away! I'm allergic to idiots!" She scolded. "And I never wanted to give you that food!"
Luffy got up in pain, feeling a good amount of pain due to the Busoshoku Haki being augmented in it. Luffy didn't expect her to know the technique, but mostly focused on her behavior. He knew it was wrong, and he knew deep inside, Applejack saw it too. Just not enough. Luffy then decides to see Fluttershy in hopes to see if she was any normal. Twilight, witnessing all this, begins to worry for Luffy and his health.
As Luffy came to Fluttershy's cottage, it was quite a sight. Luffy saw all the animals unconscious. He looked around for Fluttershy, worried of how she would cope with all this. As he found her however, she was sitting on a tree stump with many animals around her.
"… What the hell…?" He muttered.
"Well, well, well." Fluttershy spoke. "It looks like Straw Hat Luffy has come here to check on poor little Fluttershy?"
"What'd you do to them?" He wondered.
"Oh, don't act so concerned." Fluttershy sneered. "It's not like you didn't kill any animals."
Luffy was shocked as he questioned, "You didn't do that, did you!?"
"Not yet." Fluttershy answered. "I was just bored, so I thought I used the abilities you taught me."
"You used Haki to fight… your friends?" Luffy spoke slowly. "But you didn't even want to use it to fight!"
"Well, things change." Fluttershy said as she checked her hoof as if it was no big deal. "Especially, now that I'm the strongest one here."
"No you're not." Luffy growled. "We're friends, rememeber?"
Fluttershy swooped in to attack, but the blow was blocked in time by Luffy. "Nope." She replies as she pulls a punch, pushing Luffy away.
As Luffy rolled on the floor, he got up and saw Fluttershy diving to attack him, with hooves imbued with Busoshoku Haki. He escapes the attack as Fluttershy begins to chase Luffy down, who was trying to escape.
"Don't make me fight you Fluttershy!" Luffy warned her.
"Good! Don't fight!" She shouted back. "It'll be easier for me to beat you!"
Luffy kept dodging the attacks, but Fluttershy was hot on his trails. Her attacks kept getting closer thanks to the Haki she was misusing. Luffy eventually was attacked a couple of times, hurting him thanks to the Busoshoku Haki. Twilight, witnessing this was frightened by the horror.
"Fluttershy! What are you doing!?" She called out.
They couldn't hear her in the midst of the battle. As Luffy tried his best to resist fighting, Fluttershy kept going all out. Luffy began to remember at Water 7, a battle happened. The first one he truly in his heart, did not want to fight. The memories of punching his best friend was too painful for words. He kept hesitating to attack until…
"What's wrong?" She questioned. "So scared that you can't pull a punch?"
"You can't beat me…" Luffy claimed. "You know you can't do it…"
"After I'm done with you…" She began. "Maybe I'll do the same to Twilight. Maybe even Pinkie, and Rainbow, and everypony else!"
This angered Luffy as he stopped dodging. Fluttershy grinned taking the chance to finish him off. With a hoof fully imbued with Busoshoku Haki, she raced forward to smash his face in. Luffy pulled a punch and began to augment.
"Bosu Koka "
"Say goodbye Straw Hat!" She shouted.
"Gomu Gomu no Bullet!"
The attack missed as she swerved upward. She laughed, "I saw that coming you twerp!"
Luffy wasn't finished. He quickly stands on his forelegs and bucks upward with his hind legs.
"Gomu Gomu no Buck!"
The attack blew Fluttershy away. Even though the Kenbunshoku Haki foretold the attack, she wasn't quick enough to dodge. As Fluttershy was thrown up to the air, she fell down defeated. Even though it was just one attack, it left her with multiple injuries. Luffy fell to his knees angered to the furthest extent.
"I told you…!" He shouted with regret filling his heart. "You can't beat me!"
He punched the ground in anger as memories of Fluttershy learning bits and pieces of Haki from him began to form. The spec of this poor display gets better and better. Luffy's happiness with teaching Haki to her reminded him of his training with Rayleigh. Luffy wanted to cry, but he held back the tears as he was now furious. He gets up and leaves Fluttershy where she is. Twilight runs to him, completely devastated by the battle.
"Luffy! What… is Fluttershy…?" Twilight stuttered.
"Where is he Twilight…" Luffy questioned.
"Who?"
Luffy held onto her shoulders and yelled, "Where's that snake bastard!?"
Zoro and Chopper looked around to see the distortion going on. The stallion pulling the wagon was frightened as a large bowling ball started rolling their way. As Chopper and the stallion screamed in horror, Zoro got out his swords to cut the incoming object twice. The ball was destroyed, saving them from the event.
"What's going on here!?" Chopper questioned.
"I have no idea!" The stallion claimed. "But whatever it is, it's going on in Ponyville! The chaos of all this is spreading from that town!"
Zoro puts his blades away as he looks over to the distance. "What the hell is going on there?"
