Somewhere along the coast of Equestria, the Thousand Island Sunny was docked by the shore. Griffons trespassing the land happened to find the ship and decided to enter it. As they got onboard, they realized who it belong to, judging by the sails and flag.
"Looks like we found Straw Hat Luffy's ship." The griffon chuckled.
"Let's see how he likes it when we destroy his stuff!" the subordinate insisted.
"No you idiot! We hijack it!"
"Oh yeah."
As they look around, they find a skeleton of a pony. Frightening them, they begin to wonder.
"W-W-What happened to him?"
"It's almost as if he died a long time ago!"
"But the ship is brand new!"
"You know what I heard? Straw Hat eats meat."
"W-What are you saying?"
"Rumors have it that he almost ate a pegasus!"
"No… Are you saying that…!?"
"Yohohohoho, what are you birdies talking about?"
They slowly turned to the skeleton as it rose from its lying position. It began to draw itself closer and closer before looming over them.
"May I see a lady's panties?"
The griffons screamed and flew away from the ship. As they ran, they bumped into something big as it blocked their path.
"What is THAT!?" a griffon questioned.
"It looks like a pony…" one said as he squinted his eyes. "But what's with those massive hooves!?"
"Even as a man…" Franky began. "Even as a pony… It doesn't change that I'm what holds man's dream. Armored Me!"
The griffons eyes shined being amazed at what they were seeing. Franky then spun his two cyborg hooves and cheered, "Mmm, Super!"
"Amazing!" They said.
Franky tipped his sunglasses with a smile. "So, I heard you were about to attack my captains ship?"
They froze as Franky aimed his left hoof at them.
"Aw crud." they muttered.
"Weapons Left!"
Luffy was continuing to check on Fluttershy as promised. She has been working on her Haki for a while, and it has improved. The spec of Busoshoku Haki now went around a bit more of her hoof. Her Kenbunshoku Haki was of course beyond impressive. She can sense the feeling of those around her. Of course, she was too shy to interfere those affairs. As for her Haoshoku Haki, she was certainly getting better. Of course, she's trying her best not to just let it out at random. She has now mastered it enough to prevent it from accidentally spilling, but she'll use it when she needs to.
"You know, you've been doing pretty good!" Luffy commended her. "I didn't think you'd get it this fast!"
Fluttershy blushed as she said, "W-Well, if you say so…"
"Hey! Luffy!" Rainbow called. "Don't forget about me! You said you'll help me with my Busoshoku Haki, right?"
"Don't worry, I didn't forget." Luffy assured her.
Pinkie appeared beneath him and said, "What about me Luffy?"
"I know! Just hold on!" Luffy replied.
"Luffy, you still didn't show me the Kenbunshoku Haki like I asked." Twilight pointed out as she levitated Luffy towards her.
"Wait! He was helping me get metal on my hooves!" Rainbow said as she pulled Luffy's hoof.
"But I want to get better at my Pinkie sense!" Pinkie claimed as she pulled Luffy's other hoof.
"Hey! Cut it out!" Luffy scolded. "I know I said I'll help you like Fluttershy, but you need to put me down!"
The girls didn't hear as they continued to stretch him, fighting over Luffy's knowledge apparently. Quite ironic as well. As the fight continued, Applejack ran by.
"Hey girls! I have some news…" She paused to see what was going on. "Uh… should I be concerned."
"No." They all said in unison. Luffy was practically screaming at them though.
"Uh huh… Anyways, we got some weird things going on town. Ya'll better check this out."
Gazing upon the unspeakable, as cotton candy clouds raining chocolate filled the skies, rabbits with long legs eating off of huge apples weighing one side of the tree down, corn popping into popcorn, and more nonsense. After interacting and attempt of solving, the six mares couldn't fix the problem. Not even Twilight's spells could work. Luffy however managed to stray himself from the group and got himself lost in the chaotic Ponyville.
"This is so weird…" Luffy spoke as he went under the cotton candy cloud. "Whoa! Chocolate milk!"
Luffy opened his mouth and filled it whole. Gulping it down, he sighed in delight. "That's good! What about this pink stuff though?"
Taking a hoof full, he devours it and realizes what it is. "Whoa! Cotton candy! Man! Chopper would love this stuff!"
"I take it you're enjoying the new Ponyville?" spoke an ominous voice.
Luffy wasn't surprised as he had already sensed his presence. He looked at the being before him with multiple animal parts. As expected, Luffy was astonished.
"Whoa! What're you?" Luffy asked. "Hey, can you poop?"
"Well, aren't you open minded?" Discord chuckled. "And, yes, I can."
"Who are you?" Luffy asked.
"I'm Discord." He introduced himself. "I just wanted to see how everypony was doing, and from the look of your happy face, the town must be as happy as you are!"
"Well, this place does look cooler." He admitted.
"Glad to hear that! I hope you do enjoy it. It will stay like this from now on." Discord declared.
"Does that mean more chocolate rain?"
"Of course!" Discord replied. He then conjured a watch and said, "Oh dear! I'm late for something! Would you excuse me Straw Hat?"
"Sure! Thanks for the cotton candy cloud!" Luffy said as he waved farewell to Discord.
Just as he disappeared into smoke, Twilight and the others came by.
"Luffy! There you are!" Twilight called.
"Hey! What's up?" Luffy greeted. "Isn't this chocolate rain great?"
"I know, right?" Pinkie agreed.
"Luffy, we're going to Canterlot to see the princess." Twilight informed him. "We'll be gone for a while, but we'll be back. So just stay here, alright?"
"Sure Twi!" Luffy agreed.
"Good. See you later!" Twilight said as she too left.
After so, Luffy continued to drink the chocolate milk, much to his delight.
Hours later, Luffy became obese due to the amount he has drank. He stopped after getting tired of it and bored of the cotton candy cloud. He then trotted around to find Twilight and the others, along with a boulder entering the library. He was happy to see his friends again, and ran over. By the time he entered, he already lost the weight he just put on.
"You're all back!" Luffy cheered. "What took you all so long?"
"Oh, shut up." Fluttershy told Luffy.
"What?" Luffy responded rather surprised to hear this.
"She told you to shut up." Pinkie grumbled.
"She didn't tell you to shut up." Applejack lied.
Luffy was confused of what was going on. As he walked forward, Rarity shoved him aside.
"Get away from Tom!" She warned him.
Luffy bounced to Twilight, who was looking for something.
"Hey Twilight, what's wrong with everybody?" Luffy questioned. "And why are they… gray?"
"Took the words straight out of my mouth." Spike said as he came in soaking wet.
"Don't ask, I need you to help me find something." Twilight replied.
Fluttershy then came in from behind and asked, "Hey, Twilight, what's soaking wet and clueless?"
"Fluttershy, I have just about enough of-" Twilight stopped as the cold water from the bucket slammed her head.
"Your face!" Fluttershy teased.
Luffy couldn't laugh, as it felt it wasn't for fun, but rather as an insult. He knew Fluttershy long enough not to do that, and began to question what was happening.
" The Elements of Harmony? Oh, I know exactly where that book is." Spike claimed as he rummaged around. "Found it!"
As he raised it high, Fluttershy grabbed it and took it away. Luffy, Twilight, and Spike gasped as she then fooled around. "Keep away!"
"Quit screwing around!" Luffy shouted as he stretched his hoof. "Twilight needs that!"
Fluttershy swiftly dodged the hoof as she gave a nasty grin. "You missed me!"
The three was surprised that she managed to dodge Luffy's hoof. "She's using Kenbunshoku Haki!"
Luffy threw multiple hooves in at an attempt to take it back.
" Gomu Gomu no Gatling Gun!"
Not used to attack, but used to steal back the book. Fluttershy only managed to dodge a fraction of the hooves before she tossed it as Luffy's moves were too fast. Applejack caught it and then threw it to Pinkie, then to Rarity. The three did their best until Twilight used her magic to trick them and got away with the book. Luffy and Spike protected her as she yelled, "This is my book, and I'm gonna READ IT!"
Opening the book, she gasped as it held 5 necklaces and a tiara. Luffy was amazed of its contents as well.
"The elements!" Twilight spoke. "They were here the whole time!"
"What are the elements?" Luffy wondered.
"The things we need to defeat Discord!" Twilight explained.
The name made Luffy remember the strange creature from earlier. "Discord?"
"Isn't this great? We found the elements! Together!" Twilight said to her friends, only to get a yawn in response. "You don't even care, do you?"
"No." They all said in unison.
Twilight sighed in sadness as she said, " I never thought it would happen. My friends... have turned into complete JERKS!"
She then forcefully placed the artifacts on her friends. "Necklace! Necklace! Necklace! Necklace! And... big crown thingy! Come on, everypony, let's go!"
Luffy looked around and noticed something. "Wasn't there another pony…?"
"Yeah, I think you're missing somepony Twi." Spike told her.
" Nope. We've got the liar, the grump, the hoarder, and the brute. That just about covers it." Twilight assured them.
"No, wait! Does Rainbow need to be with you?" Luffy wondered.
Twilight pondered at this and then placed the necklace on Luffy. "There! You’re the new rubber pony of the group! Come on, let's go!"
Luffy had no idea what was going on as they got out. The boulder was for some reason being brought too. As they got out, they finally meet up with Discord. Luffy was shocked.
"YOU!?" Luffy shouted.
Discord took a look at Luffy and said, "Oh, are you supposed to be the new element of Loyalty?"
"Loyalty?"
"Discord! I've figured out your lame riddle. You're in for it now!" Twilight
"I certainly am." Discord teased as he pulled a handkerchief. "You've clearly out-dueled me, and now it's time to meet my fate. I'm prepared to be defeated now, ladies. Fire when ready."
"Formation, now!" Twilight told them.
They all grumbled as they and Luffy got into position. As they elements suddenly glimmered, Luffy was amazed. That was only for a second however as it just stopped.
"What's going on?" Twilight wondered.
"What was it supposed to do?" Luffy asked.
"Mine's working. There must be somethin' wrong with yours." Applejack lied.
"I HATE the Elements of Harmony!" Pinkie complained.
"Hmph! Garbage." Fluttershy insulted as she along with the others threw down her necklace.
Rarity however took them all and declared, "MINE!"
"Stop screwing around!" Luffy told them, but they soon began to leave.
"Bravo, ponies, bravo!" Discord cheerfully said as he laughed. "Harmony in Equestria is officially dead. Discord rules, Celestia drools."
Twilight growled at Discord as Luffy just glared coldly at him.
"It's your fault it didn't work." Pinkie blamed.
"Who are you talking to?" Twilight questioned.
"Any of you! ALL OF YOU! I'm outta here!"
"I better go, too. I've got new better friends waiting for me at the farm." Applejack lied.
"Yeah! I'm sick of you losers." Fluttershy growled.
Twilight was angered and yelled, "FINE! Leave! See if I care! I don't need you guys either! With friends like you, who needs...enemies...?"
"Not you too…" Luffy spoke.
As Twilight went into her house, Luffy followed after her and said, "Twilight! Stop! What's going on!? Why's everyone acting so weird?"
"Don't you get it Luffy?" Twilight sneered. "It's over. Harmony lost, and they're no longer my friends."
"Just because you get into a fight doesn't mean you all can't be friends!" Luffy scolded.
"Luffy…" She muttered.
The element left on Luffy happened to actually glimmer a bit, surprising Twilight a bit. She then realized what a pure heart Luffy has.
"The element of loyalty is responding to you…!" Twilight realized.
"Uh… should it?"
"The only one it responded to was Rainbow before she… betrayed us."
"Rainbow would never do that." Luffy claimed.
Twilight then swelled up into tears as she said, "You don't get it Luffy! They all changed! They became bitter… and now, you and Spike are all I have left here…"
Luffy was silent, unsure what to say. Twilight began to put things away into a box as she said, "I'm leaving Ponyville Luffy. I'm not coming back."
"What?" Luffy muttered.
"But I don't know where to go…" She admitted. "So… Can I join your crew?"
