Darkness.
That was all Fluttershy could see.
Consuming darkness.
Wait - was that a light?
A light, a bright yellow light.
Two. Two lights.
Looking.
Searching.
Finding.
The lights, which Fluttershy suspected to be eyes, suddenly started to move towards her, very quickly. The pegasus backed up a few steps until flat - out running away from the menacing eyes. She screamed, but she knew that nopony could hear her. She was alone. The eyes were catching up. She could hear heavy breaths now, and she could smell - what was that scent? Garbage; or maybe rotting eggs, she didn't know. All she cared about was that she got away from this creature.
She could hear it on her hooves.
She was very scared, but she kept running.
She was sweating now, and she was about to give up -
Fluttershy woke with a start, heart pounding from the nightmare. She wiped the sweat from her forehead and realized that she wasn't in her bed. She glanced around her and saw that she was in a grassy clearing in the middle of a forest, and there was a sleeping draconequus next to her. Fluttershy thought back to last night and her heart ached for more. She leaned over and gave Discord a soft kiss on the lips to wake him up. The sleepy lord of chaos opened one eye and glared at the pony who had woken him up - until he realized that it was Fluttershy, then his gaze turned soft.
"Fluttershy," he whispered.
"Good m-morning," Fluttershy stammered and snuggled up next to him.
"I just woke up from a terrible nightmare," Fluttershy told him.
At this, he sat up and gazed at her, curled into his fur.
"Are you ok?" He sounded worried.
"Um-"
She was broken off by Discord's kiss. Fluttershy passionately returned the kiss, wrapping her hooves around his neck. The couple sat there for a minute, kissing each other heavily.
When they finally broke apart, Fluttershy said," What do you want to do today?"
"Whatever you would like to do, my dearest." He voiced.
Fluttershy thought for a moment and then said,"We could stay here all day!" and then blushed a deep red.
Discord grinned and blushed as well. "That sounds perfect!" he smiled.
