//------------------------------// // Pinch, Daughter of Punch // Story: Pinchy and Lyra, Fantastic Fillies of Their Generation // by Sparx //------------------------------// Berry Punch walked through her front door. Finally, back home with her booze, and her wonderful wife. "Welcome back Berry. How did things go?" Colgate stepped in from the kitchen. "As always, would have been better if I weren't sober. But overall I don't think it was bad." Berry went over to a cabinet and pulled out a bottle of wine. "Should we celebrate?" "You can go ahead. I'm not one to partake while Celestia's sun still hangs. Besides, there's still the issue of-" No sooner had Colgate started to speak than a voice cried out from the other room. "MAMA!" The sound of little hooves dashing across the floor became audible and grew progressively louder. In a few seconds, a small unicorn pony, magenta in color, burst through the doorway and leaped onto Berry Punch knocking the older pony back, wine bottle still in grasp. "You're home! It's good to see you again Mama. Papa Romana wouldn't let me watch any porn at all today. " "Good! She's doing her job." Berry stroked her daughter's mane and stood herself up. "Honestly, you've learned more things about sex from the internet than I ever learned while i was in fuckin' high school!" "And your mom knew a LOT in high school Pinchy." Colgate chuckled darkly. "She doesn't need to know about that Romana!" Berry's eyes shot open and she forced a hoof to her mouth to silence Colgate. The blue unicorn chuckled. "No worries, I don't plan to corrupt Pinchy any more than you already have." She stepped over and gave the plum earth pony a peck on the cheek. "However, if you want to come back to the room with that bottle we can do a little 'corrupt' activity ourselves." Berry Punch gave a chuckle with a wicked smile. "Pinchy, stay off the computer, and don't come into Mama's room for a while. See if any of your friends want to do anything." Berry Punch and Colgate walked towards a doorway, brushing their flanks against one another, giggling all the way. Pinchy watched them leave with a smile. "I wonder if Mama gives Papa horn jobs." She shrugged it off and walked over to the front door. Stepping out the door and onto the sidewalk, Ruby took in a breath of fresh air with a grin. "I wonder who has time today?" She looked around, picked a direction and started trotting off. Lyra was walking about in the town center when she noticed the little pink pony walking around. She turned and trotted over to the little filly. "Hey there Pinchy! What are you doing out today?" "Lyra!" Ruby grinned wide and ran over to the mint colored pony and gave her leg a great big hug. "Mama and Papa told me I should go and play with somepony because they were going to be having alone time!" Lyra's minty face became a bright crimson at the idea of her friend's private activities. She shook it off and gave a large smile to the unicorn filly wrapped around her front leg. "Well, maybe we could go have some fun? I don't have anything planned today and Bon Bon won't be home for a while. I could use something to do." Ruby looked up at the older unicorn and gave a large grin. "That sounds like fun Lyra! What should we do?" Ruby stepped back and started bouncing around Lyra. Lyra tapped a hoof against her chin in thought. "I dunno, maybe we can find somepony else to join us and we can come up with an idea then!" Lyra said. She began walking forwards as Ruby followed after with a smile. "The only question is who should we go to?" "Well, who do you go to when you want to have fun?" Pinchy looked up at the older unicorn. Lyra looked around and noticed a poster, and a smile grew on her face. "Looks like there's a show going on by Sonic Dashfire in a few hours. Do you want to check it out?" Lyra was eager to go see the up and coming duo, and this was the perfect setup for her. She looked down and Ruby nodded with a smile. "Right! Then let's go buy our tickets." Lyra led the filly as the two trotted to the location listed on the poster. About a five minute walk outside of Ponyville they spotted bleachers set up for the show and a podium set up for ponies to buy their tickets. Lyra spotted a familiar face as they drew closer to the podium. "Hey Spike!" The purple Dragon turned when he heard his name called. He recognized the minty pony and waved back. "Lyra! It's good to see you again. What are you doing in Ponyville?" "I've been here for a long time Spike. Pretty sure I had a place here before you and Twilight came. I've been meaning to hit you guys up. Haven't talked to you and Twilight since Canterlot." Ruby looked in amazement at the small dragon standing on the podium. He and Lyra were talking like old friends, and he was a dragon. Mama had said that dragons were usually big and mean creatures, in fact Pinchy could remember a time when a dragon, who looked a lot like this one, had run through the town tearing things apart. She smiled in awe at the friendly lizard. After a moment or two, Spike finally noticed the little unicorn beaming at him. "Hey there! I don't think we've met. My name's Spike. I'm a dragon." He chuckled, sounding rather proud of his heritage when he announced it. "Oh, my bad." Lyra giggled. "This is Ruby Pinch, she's Berry Punch's daughter." "I've never seen a dragon up close before. Well, except for that one time a dragon ran through town. That was kind of cool." Ruby took a moment to soak in her first conversation with a dragon. "Oh... uh... yeah." Spike rubbed his arm nervously with memories of his birthday, letting out a slight chuckle. "Well, what brings the two of you around here? Rainbow Dash and Spitfire aren't available right now, getting ready for the show and all." "Actually, we're here to get tickets for their show. How much would it be for the two of us for tonight?" Lyra's horn gave a slight glow as she pulled a small pouch from her saddlebag. "Two bits a pony, only one for fillies." Spike recited. "But... for an old friend, just two bits will be enough." Lyra gave a light smile and placed two of the coins on the table. Spike handed over the tickets. "Show starts at four, though I would suggest you guys get here a bit quicker. This place can fill up quickly, and you'll want to be here early for the best seats." "We'll be sure to do that. Say is Twilight around?" Lyra looked around for the lavender pony. "Nah, this is something I do while Twilight is busy studying. Dash and Spitfire let me keep a few of the bits we make so I'm able to get a few things for myself." Spike placed the bits into a small metal box. "If you're interested, she usually spends her time at the library for one reason or another." Ruby bounced around. "Come on Lyra, let's go do something while we wait." She started to walk off towards town again. Lyra followed after the little filly with a grin. "What did you have in mind?" Lyra asked, expecting something rather childish and foal oriented. Pinchy stopped for a moment, she looked up to the sky and thought. "Uh... We could..." She stopped as her stomach let out a grumble. "Err... Some food would be nice." Lyra chuckled. "I'll agree with you there. Come on, let's go find something to eat. Where do you usually go with Colgate and your mom?" Pinchy opened her mouth, then stopped. She had a sneaky thought pop into her head. "Well mama always takes Pinchy to go and eat at Sugarcube Corner. She gets me the biggest cake on display all for myself!" The filly gave an extra large grin to try and make her fib more believable. Lyra looked at the little pony and gave a disbelieving smile. "Suuuuure Pinchy. But let's just say she didn't, where would you go then?" Ruby's smile faded in disappointment. "Well-" "Hold it! I have a better idea." Lyra's eyes sparked with inspiration. "I know just the place. It's no restaurant or anything like that; but it might be a little bit better." Lyra motioned for the filly to follow after her. After a short walk, Lyra led Ruby to a rather familiar location, the large open orchard of Sweet Apple Acres. They continued down the path. "Has Berry ever brought you up to Sweet Apple Acres?" Ruby looked up and nodded. "Whenever it's cider season, mama always brings me and papa to come and get some. She always asks for a 'special brew' too." The filly shook her head. "Mama could really use some rehab." Lyra gave an uneasy chuckle. "Well, they make more than cider around here ya know. I drop by here with Bon Bon all the time. The Apple Family are very generous ponies, they're always selling great treats. So we're going to be eating here." Pinchy's face lit up brightly. "Can Pinchy get an apple pie?" Lyra chuckled. "Of course Pinchy. Nopony else makes them better than the Apples." The mint colored unicorn led the little filly down the path until they noticed an orange earth pony knocking apples from the trees. "Hey Applejack!" Lyra called. The blonde pony turned her attention to the unicorn and gave her a wave, walking over to greet her. "Well howdy there Lyra. What brings you 'round here?" Applejack asked as she approached. From the corner of her eye the country pony noticed the little filly behind Lyra. "Who's this then? Ain't she adorable?" Ruby looked up at Applejack and smiled. "Mama really enjoys your cider, though it seems to make her more drunk than her normal stuff." "What the hay are ya... oh..." Applejack returned her attention to Lyra. "Berry's kid I reckon?" She asked, already knowing the answer. Lyra nodded and rubbed the back of her neck. "No matter. How can Ah help ya?" "Pinchy and I have tickets to the Sonic Dashfire show and have a bit of time to kill. I was wondering if we could grab a bite to eat." Lyra explained as she walked alongside Applejack, Pinchy following close behind. "Why of course. Ah'll get you two whatever ya want." Applejack stepped up to a bench and motioned for the two to take a seat. Ruby jumped onto the seat and placed her front hooves onto the table, while Lyra brought herself to stand on her back hooves, levitating her saddlebag and settling it down on the bench, as odd as the position was, Lyra made it look natural. Pinchy looked at her confused as the mint colored unicorn sat on her flank. "Now what would ya like?" Lyra pulled her bag of bits out from her saddle. "One apple pie. That work for you Pinchy?" The foal nodded happily. "But a' course!" AJ pulled off her hat and Lyra dropped three coins in before it returned to Applejack's head. She turned her head and called out. "Soarin'! Bring us out a pie would ya?" A moment later the blue pegasus arrived at the table with a sliced pie resting on his nose. He placed the pan on the table and gave a smile. "Thank ya kindly sweetie." Applejack gave the stallion a peck on the cheek, causing him to turn a bright shade of red. "Welp, Ah hope you two enjoy the pie, it's certainly Soarin's favorite. We'll see you two at the show, if'n yer still hungry, we have a stand set up at all the shows." With that, Applejack and Soarin' walked off, flank to flank. Pinchy grabbed up a piece of the pie in her hood and Lyra floated one over towards herself. Pinchy finished her slice with a smile, a small bit of apple dribbling down her chin. She looked off in the direction that Applejack and Soarin' walked. "I wonder if Applejack knows that pegasus ponies wings can give them sexual pleasure if the correct pressure is applied near th-" Lyra began to choke on her pie and beat a hoof against her chest to knock it loose. She coughed up a chunk of the crust and tried to catch her breath. "Pinchy... How do you know that?" "The internet." Pinchy replied without hesitation. "Mama showed it to me before. I've learned a lot of stuff on it, and looked at so much porn!" She spread her front hooves wide and gave s smile. Lyra just stared back at the filly before dropping her face into her hoof. For Celestia's sake Berry, what are you doing? "It might be best if you keep that knowledge to yourself Pinchy." Lyra finished her slice of pie trying to shake the image of Applejack and Soarin'. Four came fast, Pinchy and Lyra sat right up in the front row. The little filly was practically bouncing in her seat with excitement. "Pinchy has never seen a flight show before!" "Well, from when I saw the Wonderbolts, I was thoroughly impressed. Supposedly, Sonic Dashfire is even better than they are. They only have two members, but they're huge names. Spitfire was the last captain of the Wonderbolts, and Rainbow Dash is Ponyville's own hero, and the first one to pull off a Sonic Rainboom." Pinchy looked to Lyra as she explained with sparkles in her eyes. "Sonic Rainboom? I've never seen one up close. Do you think they'll do it during the show?" "Oh undoubtedly! From what I hear, Spitfire has been able to perform a similar move they've dubbed the Sonic Flameboom." Lyra smiled. She leaned back and stretched out her front legs, grabbing up her soda in a hoof and sipping at it. Ruby smiled brighter and turned her attention to the simple wooden stage in front of her. A pair of pegasi landed on the stage, one cyan and one yellow. A moment later, Spike walked up on stage with a microphone in hand. "Fillies, and gentlecolts; welcome to Sonic Dashfire! We hope you enjoy the show, because we enjoy putting them on for you guys. Now, let's not waste any more time! Give it up for Rainbow Dash and Spitfire!" The pegasi shot off of the stage and proceeded to fly about the field above the spectator's heads. Music started to blare as a white unicorn with purple sunglasses scratched records on a table. Pinchy and Lyra watched as Dash and Spitfire flew over their heads, pulling off various turns and twists, missing one another as they flew at high speeds with and around one another. Pinchy couldn't stop admiring the skill and grace of the two pegasi as they zoomed about in the sky, but what really blew her away was the finale, when both of the pegasi flew full speed towards the wooden stage, two simultaneous booms went off, leaving a trail of rainbows and flames behind the two ponies; the two twisted sharply upwards before splitting apart and curving into the shape of a heart overhead. The spectacle was amazing and everypony was putting their hooves together in applause. Pinchy looked hard as she saw the two winged ponies bowing on stage. "I wanna do that!"
