Now you’re playing with ponies! - Prologue
“To my faithful student Twilight Sparkle,
How are you and your friends doing Twilight? I know this is sudden, but I have a small request for you six. From what I have heard, there is a company that exists in the far eastern region of Equestria known as Neightendo.
They seem to have developed a form entertainment called a “video game system” and it has apparently become increasingly popular in the East.
I recently spoke with one of the employees there who called himself Shigeru Mareamoto and we talked about bringing their latest creation, the “Neightendo 64” over to this region of Equestria. We agreed on sending a few models across the region with a regular stream of games to play with and I think it would be a good idea to have you and your friends as one of the testing groups.
The system, 4 controllers, a television (which is apparently a device required to play these games), the instruction manual, and the first game you will receive will arrive shortly. I do hope this will bond you and your friends even more and maybe you will even learn something about friendship too, and I would like you to send regular reports on you and your friends’ opinions of this new contraption WHENEVER YOU FEEL THE NEED TO REPORT ON IT! we don’t need a repeat of last October, Twilight.
