It wasn’t as fast as everyone thought it would be as they were all going at maximum speed (which surprised everyone as Chrysalis was able to keep up despite her wings being more insect like) but both Twilight and Celestia (to everyone’s shock) panicked as the moon didn’t go down at the time expected by Celestia which got everyone thinking ”Did something corrupt Luna after she sent the message?” and it took a few days to calm Celestia down (as her mane had a few strains out of place, her left ear twitched as well as her right eye) as it reminded everyone(Except for Chrysalis who had no idea about they were talking about until Marty explained to Joe who explained it to her) of the Twilight during the Smarty Pants incident, than telling Celestia for her to take care of the moon or all of Equestria is going to think Luna lost it again. When they finally got into town (After Ricky released the girls and Spike from the bag and getting a lecture on manners by Rarity for not warning her before rapping her up like that), they noticed no one was there and only one thing was out on the street: a skeleton of what Twilight assumed was one of those creatures Twilight became in the mirror world she explored one time.
Twilight decided to try and be friendly to this thing and walked up to it. ”Hi. You must be new here, let me introduce myself, I’m Twilight.” her eyes were close when she said that last sentence. So she didn’t she the skeleton raise it’s hand at her. ”Twilight ” she opened her eyes. “Spar-”
She opened her eyes in time to see Ricky give the skeleton an uppercut as it began to bring it’s hand down, shattering the bag of bones. Ricky just looked at her.
“You’re welcome.”
Twilight would’ve asked what for then lecture him on how it’s rude to do that to other creatures he hasn’t met when something out of her peripheral caught her attention and she turned around and saw something she that no one else would ever even think to see. Queen Chrysalis of the Changelings.
Was in the Fetal position cradling back and forth on the ground muttering inaudibly.
A wirewolf flew down and looked identical to Marty including a taser burn in his chest and the spikes on his back were more shaped like shark fins. He was in other words a guy you didn’t like if you woke him up.
Terry Tearing-Limbs Rodriguez.
“Guys, crazy stuff’s happening like” Terry would’ve continued but saw Chrysalis cradling and closed his left eye. “Still missing something” and as if right on cue, Chrysalis put her right hoof by the hook the holes in her leg created in her mouth and began to suck on it like a foal.
”There we go." Terry than blank his right eye creating the clicking sound of a camera. Earning an annoyed look from Celestia, Ricky, and Marty. ”What? I’m just taking a picture for the fridge.”
Joe clearly knew why Chrysalis was doing this. ”I see what’s going on here, the guy from her nightmares was real and now he’s here and she’s freaked out cause he might know about her.”
Ricky pondered at this than asked Joe a question. ”Is he as tall as her if not a inch taller, shape like a starfish, usually holds dice, and looks like burlap sack?”
Joe was surprised cause he described the pretty much basis of this guy. ”How’d you know?”
“Easy there’s, a statue right there.” Ricky pointed to behind Joe causing everyone to turn around and see a fountain and a statue fitting Ricky’s decription.” Don’t know how we missed that.”
Unbeknownst to everyone, a shadow engulfed Rainbow Dash. She tried to call the others but her screams were muffled as she vanished. Emerging from behind Sugarcube Corner were several more skeletons emerged from behind the bakery. The group was ready to fight but Terry was more prepared than the rest and charged towards the skeletons head on. Celestia was going to join him but was stopped as she heard a crash from inside the town hall. She turned to Ricky and saw he heard the same thing.
“Go check it out, we’ll deal with this.”
Celestia was about to but asked Ricky a question“ Are you sure no one else heard it?”
Ricky just looked around “We’ll with Terry getting attacked by skeletons” gesturing to Terry on the ground covering his face while the skeletons just kicked him.
“It’s like getting attacked by a gang!”
“The girls going to help him,” pointing to Twilight and the others who were running to help Terry.” And Chrysalis degrading herself back to her infancy,” Finally pointing to Chrysalis who just continued to cradle herself and suck her hoof in fear.” I think you’ll be all right alone.”
Celestia simply nodded to Ricky and made her way to the town hall door. She walked inside and found no one, not even the mayor inside what caught her attention was a shadowy glob rising and growing in the stage center.
“What the?”
The glob began to take a more complex shape with claws, a tail, and a face with two yellow eyes and mouth, this thing let out a shout that looked directly at her.
“Celestiaaa~!”
Celestia looked behind her and saw Ricky was on a balcony dressed as a conductor, with Marty and Terry holding various instruments.” Hey ain’t gonna let a good song go to waste” Ricky state then began to play a song.
“Well, well, well Princess Celestia, finally made it huh pooh I’ve been waiting.
So how do you like my Oogie town? B’ah ha ha ha ha!”
Celestia didn’t care if he was about to sing, she was going to stop him. She began to start shooting magic blasts at him. a few hitting him, but then he dissolved into the floor but not before throwing a pair of large dice towards her, which she managed to easily dodge it.
“It’s over, it’s over, this time you’ve gone to far,
It’s over, I’m serious, just who do you think you are? ”
Ghosts began to appear around the shadow but they were easily disposed of by a quick blast of magic.
“Just because you fooled the town, doesn’t make you king,
You better give up surrender now, I’m fixing everything.”
The shadow looked amused at her last words, continuing to throw dice at her, none hitting their mark.
“That’s what you think, ha! But you couldn’t be more wrong,
And this will be the last time, you hear the Oogie”s song
Eahoo~”
More ghosts rose from the gorund and beld dice in their hands.
“Woah~”
“Aahoa~”
More ghosts after.
"Woah~”
“Ahoah!”
There are enough of these Celestia thought and so she blasted those which blew up but not before they tossed their dice and she dodged.
“Woah~”
"I'm the Oogie Boogie man!"
Now Celestia had a name to use but it sounded to childish."What have you done to Equestria?"
"Made it rightfully mine and so is your sister."
Now it's time to end this. Celestia thought as she began to charge her horn.
"I see you're pretty proud of all your booby trapping schemes,
But I can say you'll rule this land only in your dreams."
"Ha! that's funny Tia, it was a dream, but now it's coming true,
Cause even my mere shadow knows, your days and reign are through.
Awoah~"
He began to throw several dice at her only for her to dodge.
"Woah~"
"Eaho~"
More dice.
"Woah~"
"Awoaah~!"
"Woah~! I'm the Sun Princess"
This was followed by a large blast of magic, the song ending and Oogie screaming. Celestia thought it was finally over but than he stopped, gathered up the rest of himself leaving a large glob behind than chuckling.
"Beginner's luck if you ask me, don't worry" he turned his head and it looked more like the head of the statue outside."We'll meet again" he then waved as he sank and laughed.
The rest of the group(And a finally recovered from trauma Chrysalis) walked in to see him vanish but Celestia did not notice them walk in as something caught her attention. Celestia looked above and saw something very odd floating down she automatically recognized: the Element of Kindness.
"Now what in Mother's name are you doing here?"
Terry was a little weirded out by this."Are you talking to the crystal?"
Celestia turned around and saw they were all there when she spoke and blushed a little as they all heard what she said. Before she Could explain, Ricky walked by giving Fluttershy,Rarity,and Applejack a piece of paper.
"Get Discord,Apple Bloom And Sweetie Belle. They need to know what's going on to."
The glob Oogie left behind dissolved revealing a figure underneath that caught the attention of everyone in the room: In every way it looked like Nightmare Moon but with the colors of Rainbow Dash. Before anyone responded, it blew away in a non-exsitant wind revealing regular Rainbow Dash underneath it.
"You guys make sure she's ok, I'll go get Scootaloo." Ricky turned around and saw no one was even listening as they were all(Even Chrysalis) were around Rainbow Dash making sure she was okay."Ok. no pony even think about coming with me as back-up. oh that's fair" Ricky muttered as he walked out, a little annoyed.
