In one of the tallest towers in Canterlot a single figure stood out on the balcony over looking the capital at night. Small flames illuminated the streets from candelas inside houses and taverns alike signaling the residents of the homes,and businesses have not turn in for the night's sleep.
The figure watch as a small group of ponies went through the streets lighting the street lamps,giving light for those who still wonder the streets at night,weather returning home from a hard days work or making there way to the local taverns to drink there problems away for the night. A sound from behind the figure manage to make it turn it's head slowly to where the noise was came from.
Another figure in a darken hood appeared not far behind the one that was looking over the city. A small toothily-grin could be seen on the new creatures face.
"It is done my lord,"The figure spoke in a deep mischievous tone with a serpent like hiss at the end of each word it spoke. "The problems wont be bothering you again my lord."
The figure on the balcony smiled,"Good,I was a little worried our assassin's could not manage the job." The figure on the balcony spoke with well mannered tone of nobleman.
"What now my lord?" the hooded figure asked.
"Nothing right now my loyal servant for now we wait,and plot our next move.
A small hiss came from the figure in the hood,"What of the assassins lord do I need to take care of them?"
The figure on the balcony turned to face the hooded figure,"Not yet,for they have some use to me left."
"Yes my lord," The hooded figure bowed,"Will that be all?"
The figure on the balcony nodded,"That will be all."
The hooded creature bowed once more before going back to the shadows from where it came.
The figure on the balcony turn his attention back onto the city. A small smile formed on his face where he looked over it one last time before going back inside the tower.
"Soon." The figure whispered to him self before closing the balcony doors.

Darkness,pure darkness that is all Twilight could see. She been travailing in the darkness for some time now. Twilight could not renumber how she got here in the first place.
All she remembers before arriving to this place was the horror of finding out Fluttershy killed somepony after that there was blackness.
Twilight continued to walk through the darkness looking for any sign of life in this abyss of pure darkness.
"Hello! any Pony here?" Twilight called out,"I don't know where I am or how I got here." Twilight waited for a response but to her disappointment she did not here any thing. Not even an echo.
Twilight was about to call out to the darkness again when she heard something from behind her. Turning around Twilight heart leap with joy. Standing in front of her was Applejack,Rainbow Dash,Pinkie,Spike,and Rarity all staring at her.
"Girls,Spike! how did we get here and why did you not respond when I was shouting." Twilight waited for a response but nether of her friends answered,or even blink,"Girls come on! quit messing around please answer me where are we!" Once again her friends did not respond.
Twilight noticed something moving behind her friends. In fact she could see a lot movement behind her friends.
Dark shadows began to form behind her friends in shapes of other ponies along with griffin's,zebras and much more. Twilight could not make out what they look like other then just shadows that stared back at her.
Twilight watch as more,and more of these shadows started forming behind her friends,"Girls I think we should go there things starting to form all around us." Twilight looked around noticing the shadows beginning to swarm her.
"Twilight?" A familiar soft gentle voice spoke from behind Twilight.
Whipping around Twilight was looking at the one pony she did not want to be with at the moment, "Fluttershy!" Twilight ready her horn to protect her self and her friends.
Fluttershy just stared at her with her fear was clearly seen on the yellow Pegasuses face,"Twilight where are we?" the soft voice spoke with fear.
"Stand back! Fluttershy"
"Twilight please it me Fluttershy,Twilight I'm scared help me." Fluttershy began to move closer.
"Stop right there," Twilight commanded pointing her horn towards Fluttershy who seem to ignore it.
"Twilight please calm down your scaring me." The soft Pegasuses spoke in a scared voice. A small tear fell from her face.
"I'm warning you don't come any closer!" Fluttershy took another step.
"Twilight please let me help you I'm your friend remember...please calm down I just want to help."
"Please don't make me use this."Twilight beg to her former friend.
"Twilight,please...Stop scaring me I..I though we where friends." Fluttershy took another step closer towards Twilight.
"Fluttershy...Just stop moving I beg you."
Fluttershy stop just an inch in front of her friend. Reaching behind her Fluttershy was grabbing something.
Twilight's horn erupted and purple beam shot from her horn.
Fluttershy fell to her knees a steady stream of tears fell down onto the darkness floor.
Twilight looked in horror to what she had done. Fluttershy chest had a small smoking hole in the center where her heart would be,blood began flowing out of the wound onto the floor. Twilight rushed over to Fluttershy grabbing her just as she fell to her side.
Tears began to form in Twilight eye as she held onto Fluttershy with both her front hooves. "Twilight,"Fluttershy cough with a mouth full of blood,"I..I just...Thissss." a book fell from her hooves onto the darkness floor.
Twilight started crying uncontrollably,"I'm sorry Fluttershy,I'm so sorry please forgive me."Twilight continued to cry into her friends mane holding her closer to her chest.
Twilight reach over to the book Fluttershy dropped. Picking it up Twilight noticed it was a black book that looked older then Celestia or Luna combined. Used her magic to flip the book over to where the title would be but to her surprise it was not there.
Twilight was confused to why the there was no title for the book. Opening the book Twilight read the first line she saw out load.
Chapter 1: The Dark BrotherHood.
Twilight looked back down to Fluttershy but to her surprise she was not there.Twilight looked around the darkness to see where her friend could have gone with out her noticing at all,"Fl-Fluttershy?" fear began to build up.
Another noise came from behind her. Turing around Twilight could see Fluttershy standing in front of her with the small wound still on her chest. But what was more shocking was that Spike,Rarity,and Pinkie where standing behind her with the armor she wore when they where back in Ponyville.
"Welcome home." Fluttershy Spoke in a raspy dry voice,"We have been waiting for you." Fluttershy along with ever one else spoke in the same voice.
Twilight's friends faded before her very eye's,and in there place stood a open coffin with a decayed mare with her two front hooves crossed over her chest warp in a long sheet of cloth around her lower waste.
"Welcome...my sweet child...Twilight Sparkle's." The mare in the coffin spoke with the voice that came from Fluttershy and her friends,"Welcome home..To the Dark...BrotherHood."
