The train ride for Dark Star was very slow for him he sat there his mind wandering and buckling around finding out what a friend is what it's is like to have one this was always going threw his mind on his first day as a guard but the memory in the back of his mind ate at him over and over why was the only pony in the royal guard nice to him his captain not his fellow soldiers. 

The locomotive soon stopped at ponyville where his mission. When he exited the train he smiled at the smell of fresh air the smell reminded him so much of the garden at the castle where he patrolled it relaxed him everything that he felt when he was on the train car was completely forgotten for he was at bliss with him self until he opened his eyes. He jumped back at the sight of a pink bubbly mare that was bouncing up and down smiling a toothy grin "hi I'm pinkie pie you must be new here I never seen you around her is know everypony around her except you oh wait I need to set up a party this is going to be fun fun fun!" As quick as she said all that she was gone leaving dark with a very dumbfounded look as fast as the mare appeared and dissapeared.

"Well that just happened I guess my day just got weird" he thought out loud as he looked at the note that Armor gave him as he nods to himself heading to the address. As he got to the home he blinked as he grew a grin "this mare lives in the best place in town she must have cleanest air" he just grinned stupid at the tree. 

"Um hello mister you ok?" A raspy voice said as he turned around facing a cyan blue mare with rainbow mane "yea I'm fine I'm just a bit surprised is all" the mare held back some laughter "for a library you must be a brainyack like twilight here" she pointed at the purple unicorn mare with her as he blinked "I'm not that smart actually I'm here to deliver a letter" dark said as the purple mare looked up as he put the mail in the slot "well have a good day" dark said as he trotted off both of them looking at each other.

When dark turned back to them he froze seeing them teleport away "What is with the mares in this town wait" he turned back around "where is everypony!" He thought out loud again as he ran to his house quick and quickly slamming the door behind him as he breathed heavy as the light quickly turn on and he jumped hearing the word "Surprise"
