Twilight sat in the basement of the new tower breathing in slowly trying to control herself from either blowing something up or turning something into a watermelon. Ether worked for her but she was trying to figure out, to no avail mind you, why her magic was playing up the way that it did.
The basement of the new ‘tree house’ housed a huge open area which Twilight has promptly filled with various things to help her do some magic training such as balls, inflated bags, gymnastic mats and the like for practice should any further crisis come about; Now though she was trying to figure out her magic and was using the area for its purpose of practise and experimentation.
Casting out her hand, the stress ball that was on the other side of the room she commanded her magic to get it for her using telekinesis. The result though was a hundred balls being conjured raining down on her head comically which made her groan out in annoyance. Sighing she ‘wished for something to wake her up’ mentally, in response a glass of water appeared in front of her face.
“Great, so now you start to work” she muttered, taking it in her clawed hand and drank it. She looked down and moaned as it was the glass she had drank not the water. Sighing she threw it at a wall yelling out in anger from that. The result wasn’t the explosion like Discord had a few years back, but it splattered against the wall leaving a small amount of semi-solid blue substance sticking to the wall.
Floating over to it, which she found she could do just as naturally as flying, she tasted it and her eyes widened. “Blueberry jam? But then- argh that makes no sense! Okay I’m going to figure this out one way or another” she shouted out to no-pony in particular.
She floated over to a pad that had a pen and paper and began to write down the things she had discovered so far, though she was dictating to the paper as the pen wrote itself.
‘Point one – chaos magic doesn’t like being told what to do; but will do what you ask it to’ she quoted as the pen nodded before writing down also ‘discord was right you nonce’
Rolling her eyes she continued to dictate to the pen as it waited eagerly to continue with its work.
‘Point two – My magic leaves traces of extremely tasty food around where either I teleport to or chaos magic results. Note I threw a glass of water at the wall and it became blueberry jam’
Tapping her finger on her chin she mused. “Five months trapped in this form with only one creature who can understand but I cannot trust. I guess all I need to do is enjoy this as best I can? No, I need to note down all I can about chaos magic”
She levitated around the room a few times in place of actually pacing.
“I cannot stay here for the whole 5 months, but then again, Discord is reformed so I wonder. Pinkie wouldn’t be upset and Dash always says she’s the better prankster. Hrm, I have a wonderful idea, one they will never see coming. I know you here Discord and I have a proposition for you”
“Awe, and I was so happy watching you throw water at the wall and watching the resulting splat. Though I must admit to your credit, your creation of food from chaos is interesting to say the least” Discord said appeared from the ceiling by a trapdoor, ceiling lol-cat style.
“Well, you said I have 5 months yeah. Well, the way I see it, the element of magic is mine and considering in now like you-“
“-I don’t see what this has to do with-“
“-Urgh your denser than a boulder made of pure diamond soaked in obsidian” Twilights stated as Discords head morphed into a diamond. “Interesting, Pen can you note that down please-“the pen saluted and noted what she was thinking, “-well I’ve known for a long time you want to ‘let loose’ but how about this. A prank war”
“I beg your pardon, but did I just hear you correctly? The miss of all magic, princess of friendship, just declared a prank war on moi?” he said placing his lion paw on his chest. “The master of chaos himself? Are you sure you have not gone completely insane?”
“Well, it’s either that or we, and yes I said we, prank Celestia, Cadence and Luna. But if we go with the princesses, you cannot let slip about my form just yet, I want to see what the results are, scientifically speaking that is. Your choice” Twilight said grinning.
“You know, I never picked you as a ‘Chaos sower’ Princess Twilight” Discord said.
“Well, if you don’t like it I can revoke my offer and I’ll go back to being an egghead” Twilight retorted crossing her arms.
“I would think those earrings have gone straight to your head”
“No, I know Luna Is a prankster at heart and Cadence always likes a good joke here and there. So, are you going to put your money where your mouth is or are you going to have a bit of fun?”
“A Female after my own heart, well then my dear. You can lead, I’m thinking the Princesses first then the prank war”
“Deal, I’ll be right back” Twilight said snapping her dragon claw finger before disappearing in a shower of white taffy once more. Discord smiled before grabbing said taffy and devouring it to his pleasure, thinking of ways he can win this supposed war.

Celestia hummed a tune as she slipped in deeper into the swimming pool sized heated bath located in the deeper parts of the castle of Canterlot. It was nice for her to just relax for once in a while without needing to worry about anything regarding the courts. She deemed it a few years back that all Sundays are court free days for the soul purpose of allowing her time off from the tasks she was forced into being a ruler.
She continued like this, simply relaxing in the self-heating bath; that was until a smell hit her nose, blinking a few times she sniffed again.
“Chocolate?” she muttered looking down she screamed before teleporting out quickly in an act of pure panic more than anything. The entire pool was still water but it smelt of chocolate. Lowering her head to the water level she tasted it and it was the taste of hot water. Her mind raced but it skidded to a halt when she looked in the waters reflection. Her entire coat was now a soft peachy white colour looking down at her hoof, the same colour was there but the hoof was solid colour of milk white chocolate. “Okay, that’s enough, Discord!” she bellowed loud enough for Luna to hear across the castle complex.
“You rang princess” Discord asked appearing. “Oh my, what have you done to your coat, it looks good enough to eat” he sniggered a bit, Twilight had outdone herself with this one and he would have fun watching old Sun Butt deal with it.
“Change me back now before I lose my cool” Celestia said firmly. Discord rolled his eyes before snapping his fingers. Celestia sighed as the magic washed over her but nothing happened. She opened her eyes as Discord was concerned. “What?”
“Well-“he said. “-I cannot revert this change”
“Discord what are you talking about, stop playing around and change me back now”
“Well the thing is this wasn’t me”
“I beg your pardon but what did you just say?” Celestia asked, her wings flaring in shock of this matter, she would know if a new Chaos user was around from her innate nature of being an Alicorn.
“It wasn’t me I swear” he said placing his hand on his heart. “Another Chaos magic user did this not me and thus I cannot revert it”
“You have got to be kidding me. Okay fine then” she muttered. “I’m going to find out who this is and bring them to justice and if I found out it was you, not even Fluttershy can stop me from turning you back into a lawn ornament!” Celestia snarled before storming out, each hoof step left behind a burning mark for a few seconds before fading again.
Twilight appeared next to Discord giggling like a school girl on a sugar high. “That was amazing! No wonder you love doing it so much” she commented as Discord smirked.
“Her coat?”
“Fur actually, she is still flesh and blood, only her coat and hooves are white chocolate” Twilight commented. “Now then time to get Luna. Ideas?”
“I have one in mind” Discord said happily leaning in and whispering it into her ear. Her eyes went wide before she nodded and teleported away to act on the suggestion.

“You arrogant little douche bag; how dare you complain about my camping and sniping skills when you yourself camp, bucking hypocrite!” Luna shouted over the headset she was using to complain. “And do not call me a haxor when you yourself admit to it, should I find you I will send you to the moon for insulting me!”
Rolling her eyes in response to the colt on the other end kicked up a stink further to which Luna muted him and took the headset off; logging out of the game she moaned but smiled at the same time, she got some level of joy out of goading trolls online. She got up and stretched her now stiff limbs, which popped as the three hour binge of gaming did that to her.
She swore she heard her sister shout loudly ‘discord’ about fifteen minutes ago but nothing came through the ‘official’ calling device, aka her room was fitted with a magical receiver that would light up should her presence be needed.
She walked a few steps to the door but stopped as her hooves felt, heavy and sounded clunky. Raising an eyebrow she looked down and let out a scream of terror as a HUD appeared over her vision. Blinking a few times she rushed over to the mirror before her mouth moved in shock.
She was looking at a near perfect metallic replica of her face was looking back. Her eyes were replaced with what appeared to be optics. Her wings replaced with folded jet engines, tail replaced with what appeared to be a holographic projection of it. The main parts of her body though was quite streamlined and hid the joints well. Each hoof had a metal hoof guard shaped like her hoof wear was normally. Craning her neck she could move normally without much restriction at all.
“What hath happened to me?” she asked, her voice slightly metallic in tone as a message appeared in her field of view as a small envelope with a red exclamation mark next to it. Looking at it, the message opened stating ‘you are needed now in the main chambers, we have a massive issue – Celestia’. Blinking caused it to remove itself from her field of view.
“Urgh, but how can I go out there looking like this” she stated firmly. “If it is urgent then I suppose I need to, if this is Discords doing, I am going to beat him within an inch of his life!” She opened the door and strode out as her personal guards looked at her raising their eyebrows at the sudden ‘robotic version’ of Luna appeared from the room.
“Princess, if we may ask but what happened?”
“I don’t know, but I will find out” she said back, her voice lacking any form of emotion. She strode for a good five minutes through the corridors of the castle, the clanking of metal on marble was getting on her nerves as she entered the main room where Celestia was waiting.
“Sister what has happened to you?” Celestia asked as Luna ‘shrugged’ as best she could in her new form.
“If I knew that, I would be able to answer, but you are chocolate according to my sensors-” Luna asked walking up. “-buck this, sorry but this is confusing for me”
“I understand Luna, and it’s not Discords doing. But it is chaos magic” Celestia explained as Luna took a seat next to her.
“I beg your pardon but that doesn’t compute- sorry doesn’t make sense” Luna commented as Celestia tapped her ‘wing’ curiously. One of them reacted immediately firing off and catapulting the unsuspecting Luna into a wall. With a scream, akin to Wilhelm, and a solid crash seconds later she slid down the wall and landed comically in a heap. “Ouch, Celestia that hurt”
“Sorry. Once we find whoever is doing this, then we will be sure they correct this. I have sent a letter to Twilight asking to be looking out any strange things that may be happening” Celestia commented before sighing and using her magic to pick Luna up out of the head and placing her on a chair.
“It could be amusing to see what happens to Cadence then” Luna mentioned idly, her jets flaring up once more before dying down.

Cadence, the princess of love and of the crystal empire, was sitting neatly in her private chambers; sipping some tea as she looked out of the window and into the gardens that lined the wing of the castle where she was sitting. Sipping again she could have sworn she heard her aunty scream out ‘Discords’ name at one point.
Sighing she wondered a few stray thoughts of Shining Armour and children, before a small voice called out snapping her out of the thoughts of children and unicorns.
“Mum, what’s the matter” the voice asked.
Cadence’s head snapped to where a filly was sitting neatly with her. Cadence looked her over, Alicorn with electric blue mane and tail, her coat was a deep pink colour, no cutie mark to be seen but her eyes were the same as hers. “Who are you?”
“I’m your daughter mum, did you forget that, your silly if you did?” the filly commented to which Cadence shook her head in denial of what she was saying.
“I- no that’s not right you cannot be as I would know if I had a child” Cadence replied harshly, the filly cocked her head to the side as a response to the accusation.
“Did you hit your head mum? Because you did have me” the filly stated.
“Stop lying to me before I call the guards in to have you arrested for trespassing-” she began as the Filly looked at Cadence before tears formed, Cadence held her demeanour as the child bawled her eyes out. Her heart sank before the filly bolted for the door,
using some form of magic, she teleported out of the room with a flash of purple-pink light. Only one pony she knew had that form of teleport colouration and she was in ponyville.
Cadence was perplexed at the sudden outburst but bolted after the filly who had only teleported out of the room and into the corridor. Cadence threw the doors open and looked as the filly was running down the corridors towards the main chambers. Cadence didn’t know what to do only to chase after the filly.
The filly teleported past another door which Cadence threw open to a surprised Celestia and Luna. Her mouth dropped as the scent of Chocolate hit her nose and Luna appeared to be made of metal.
“Speaking of the pony, Cadence, we don’t know-“
“Aunty Luna, why are you a robot?”
“And who is this?” Luna asked
“I was sitting in my room when she appeared out of nowhere claiming to be my daughter!” Cadence exclaimed.
“I am though!”
“Someone’s sick sense of humour” Celestia commented. “And it’s not Discord”
“What do you mean it’s not Discord?” Cadence asked. “Besides, how can some pony summon up a pony from nothing?”
“This is most dire of circumstances. I am sending this letter to Twilight directly instead of Spike” Celestia stated using her magic to send the scroll which vanished in golden light. “Hopefully nothing like this has happened to her-“
The Filly Belched loudly as the scroll re-appeared in front of her.
“Eh ha, ha” she said backing up as Celestia glared at her. “Well, cats out of the bag no so whoops-“
“-Twilight, is that really you, did you get affected by the chaos magic to?” Cadence asked.
“Uh no- not really. Well I guess the gig is up” Twilight stated as she walked back to the centre of the room.
“What do you mean- the gig is up” Luna asked with caution.
“Discord didn’t do this. I did” Twilight admitted beaming at the idea as she did.
“What but how-“Celestia asked confused as a flash of light revealed Draconequus Twilight, floating there neatly stifling a massive laugh from her. “-What but- no that’s impossible”
“Oh man the look on your face when I turned your coat to chocolate was priceless and even blaming Discord was a right laugh!”
“Twilight, you better have a good explanation to this”
“Because why not?” she replied nonchalantly. “Besides, I thought it was amusing to try out these powers of mine, and who better than you three. Oh and Cadence, I slipped a little something into that tea you were drinking. I would suggest you find Shining ASAP as it’s about to hit in around 5 seconds”
“What are you talking about-“Cadence began before her face shifted from concern to half lidded expression of pleasure and pure lust, her mouth dropped and drooled before she blinked a few times at Luna..
“-That’s why. Princess of Love is about to show my Shinning why that’s the case and I would not doubt that I will be an aunt in the next few months.” Twilight said snapping her dragon clawed hand which teleported Cadence away leaving behind some strawberries sitting neatly in a bowl of white cream in her wake.
“So you were behind this? Where is Discord in all of this, more importantly how are you a Draconequus?” Luna questioned, her jets firing off as wings would flare out in anger.
“Well, cool your jets and let me explain, Discord wanted to give me a little gift as the last one was the last key I needed for my castle to be grown”
5 minutes later of the explanation.
“So yeah, now I’m stuck like this and wanted to try the new powers out and you all were perfect for it” Twilight said as Luna and Celestia Returned to normal with a soft flash of purple. “Sorry if you took it the wrong way-“
“It was refreshing to say the least and you were honest about it. No harm no foul” Luna said happy that she was now flesh and blood over metal once more.
“And Discord didn’t know?” Celestia asked with genuine concern in her voice.
“Oh he knows, I asked him not to let it slip” Twilight commented. “But I have since proofed this room of him, I need to ask though. Is it a bad thing I’m starting to see him in a different light?”
“How so?” Celestia asked, Twilight tapped her fingers together and blushed as Luna went oh. “Ah I see, well then, go with what you desire most. If it’s 5 months you have in that form before it wears off, then I won’t hold you”
“I have been trying but I really don’t know if I can handle it” Twilight said, “I mean it will be good to view magic from the Chaos end, I have also been recording what I can, but I don’t know what’s going to happen to me on a whole”
“If by chance you remain like this, we will not think anything less of you” Celestia commented as Twilight breathed a sigh of relief, “But you must know. Discord is alone out in the world. Though he has friends he does not have others of his kind. Take that into consideration also”
“Thankyou I guess. Now then, I best be off before I regret leaving Discord alone” Twilight said, she vanished with a snap and left white molasses in her wake.
“I hope that will be the only outburst of Randomness we get from her” Celestia said solemnly.
“Sister, Twilight will be fine. She is strong willed and will not fail”
“That is not what I meant and you know it. The errant nature of the Draconequus as you just was witness too is that they are attracted to making chaos. Twilight will need to rely on her friends more now than ever. For should she fail, I fear that we may be dealing with another Discord”
Luna paled to a soft white as the realisation hit her.
“We can only hope she pulls through, I do not wish to turn her to stone to prevent the chaos from being destructive”
