Doctor Whooves 2

Weeping Angels?

Twilight gasped. “Discord?” The Doctor asked. “As in Draconaquus Discord?”

“That’s the only Discord that I’m aware of.” Star Swirl replied.

“Wait, how is Discord on the loose?” Twilight asked. “Wasn’t he turned to stone?”

Star Swirl and The Doctor looked at her. The Doctor pulled her aside. “Twilight, this is the past. Discord has not yet been turned to stone. If these ponies find out what will happen to Discord, it could alter their future and then…” The Doctor raised his hoof to snap and then realized it was a hoof and mumbled to Twilight, “How do you snap? Do you just clap your hooves together or what?”

“How do we what?” Twilight asked.

“Oh never mind.” The Doctor replied. “Anyway if they find out what happens to Discord they could change the future which could change history causing a paradox, destroying the entire universe!”

“Oh…” Twilight said and then thought, what’s a paradox?"

“What was that?” Star Swirl asked.

“Oh, nothing.” The Doctor reassured.
Star Swirl cocked an eyebrow and said, “Really?” Twilight and the Doctor nodded. “Very well. Anyway if you were going to talk about the future, I wouldn’t care.”

“Of course.” The Doctor said. “All though it seems like something troubling you.”

Star Swirl sighed. “Something has been bothering me, as well as everypony else.” Star Swirl explained. “There is a cave west of the camp. We’ve lost many a pony in there.”

The Doctor was curious. “How have they gone missing?” He asked.

“Three ponies go in to the cave to get water, so we don’t have to leave the camp.” Star Swirl replied. “Inside the cave, they split up to the water areas that were spotted upon setting up the fort. After an hour they are ordered to return to the entrance of the cave.

“However, the pony who goes to the south water area, never returns. The odd thing is, we can find them in the history records, long gone.”

The Doctor’s facial expression changed to worry as he realized what could cause these events. “What is it?” Twilight asked.

“There was an old story on Gallifrey,” The Doctor explained, “About a species that is more dangerous than any other. They were known as the Weeping Angels. When you see them, they’re stone, unable to move, but when you don’t see them, they can move faster than anything else. And if they touch you, you’re sent back in time a number of years unable to return to the future.”

“And you think that’s what happened to the ponies in the cave?” Star Swirl asked.

“It’s only a story.” The Doctor replied.

“But still possible.” Twilight said.

“There’s only one way to find out,” The Doctor said. “We have to go into the cave and of to the south water area.”
