It was well into the night when Fluttershy was awoken from her sweet dreams. She walked down her stairs to the front door which was being knocked on quite loudly.
To her surprise Rainbow dash was the one knocking on her door. In her arms she was holding a white bunny. " I saw Angel bunny running around well i was doing some night practice, though I should bring him back to you." Rainbow Dash said handing a very angry Angel bunny.
Ever sense Fluttershy had laid eyes on Rainbow Dash at flight school she was in love, and when Rainbow had defended her honor, and stood up for her it was written in stone that she would never love anyone the same way she loved Dash. She had always dreamed that Rainbow would show up at her cottage but now that she was here Fluttershy didn't know what to do. She looked into Dash's eyes and stepped back " Thanks Rainbow" she said well closing the door. She slumped down against the wall. She couldn't believe that her biggest crush was just at her house and she blew yet another chance to tell Rainbow how she felt.
The next morning as Fluttershy was attending to her morning duty's Rainbow came to her cottage. "Hey shy."
Fluttershy froze in place, but then realized now would be the perfect time to tell Rainbow. " Hey Rainbow. How can i help you this morning?"
" I just wanted to see how angel and you are doing." Rainbow asked.
" Oh, where good. Uh, Rainbow can i tell you something?" Fluttershy said looking away
" Uh sure."
"I....I.. never mind i have to got take care of a animal somewhere!" Before Rainbow could reply Fluttershy took off towards town. Worried about her friend Rainbow ran after her.
When Rainbow reached town Fluttershy was no where to be seen. Rainbow walked around town until she ran into Twilight who had her nose in a book.
" Hey egghead." Rainbow said in her joking manner.
" Hey rainbow. What's with the worried face?" Twilight asked looking up from her book.
" I went to talk to Fluttershy this morning and she just kind of rain off."
" Rainbow did u tell her?" Twilight asked arching an eyebrow.
"No i was going to, but she said she had something to tell me and then she just ran off towards town so i ran after her but i can't find her anywhere."
Twilight paused for a minute " Well i haven't seen her, but knowing Fluttershy if she ran into town i would go check Rarity's." Rainbow nodded and ran off to Rarity's.
Rainbow landed on the ground at the back of Carousel Boutique. She quietly knocked on Rarity's back door. Sweetie Belle answered the door.
" Hey Rainbow." Sweetie Belle said with a smile
"hey sweetie can you keep a secret?"
" Uh, sure whats up?"
" Is Fluttershy in there with your sister?"
Sweetie Belle lowered her voice " Yes she is and she's going on about liking one of her best friends and she doesn't know how tell them because she doesn't how they feel about Girls."
Rainbow let out a sigh of relief. " Mind of i come in then?" Sweetie Belle shook her head and allowed Rainbow in.
Rainbow dash walked up behind Fluttershy and caught Rarity's eye and motioned for her to come here. She told Fluttershy something and walked towards Rainbow.
" Rainbow what are you doing here?" Rarity asked in a hush voice so Fluttershy wouldn't hear her.
"Trying to find Fluttershy 'cause i need to talk to her." Rarity looked behind her to make sure Fluttershy couldn't hear them. " Well form the sound's of it she needs to talk to you to" Fluttershy stood up and turned around to tell Rarity that she had to be going but when she saw that she was talking to Dash she let a tiny scream and ran out the door. Rainbow sighed and thanked Rarity and ran after Fluttershy.
By the time Rainbow had found Fluttershy hiding behind her sofa. Rainbow sneaked up behind shy. " I finally found you." Fluttershy screamed and tried to run away but Rainbow Dash grabbed her arm before she could get away. " Fluttershy why do you keep running away from me every time you see me?" Rainbow asked sounding a little hurt.
Fluttershy looked down at her feet and sighed " I like you Rainbow dash I just didn't know how to tell you 'cause i don't know how you feel about me." Rainbow wrapped her arms around Fluttershy's hips and kissed her.
The next day Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy walked into ponyville together holding hands. They where going to meet their friends at sugar cube corner for a meeting with Twilight and there other friends. As they walked down the street people looked at them and smiled. some high fived well other's secretly passed bit's to each other. Fluttershy didn't notice the small amount of commotion but Rainbow Dash did. She kept it to herself though, she didn't want Fluttershy to freak out by all the attention.
They walked into sugar cube corner to a surprise party planned by no other than Pinkie Pie.
" Hey guys! Welcome to the Rainbow and Fluttershy finally got together party!!" Pinkie Pie said jumping up and down. Rainbow looked at Fluttershy who was hiding behind her long hair. Fluttershy glanced at Rainbow and smiled.
" This was very nice of Pinkie." Fluttershy said. Rainbow saw the awkwardness in fluttershy's eye's. Rainbow whispered something in Pinkie's ear before she lead Fluttershy outside. They walked back to Fluttershy's cottage and had a picnic on a hill instead. When the moon had come up Rainbow Dash kissed Fluttershy and flew off towards her home in Cloudsdale with a smile on her face.
