//------------------------------// // Getting the Team: Part Two // Story: Big Mac's Vacation: Canterlot. // by MoltenXKid //------------------------------// Back in the Lost Colt’s Hideout, Valor and General were speaking of their plan on destroying their Rival gang- Fillies of favor. Talk of mud, dirt, loud noise, and other things were tossed around, but the conversation stopped when they heard the door to their hideout open. After a quick count, they both realized that none of their group had opened the door. Nevertheless, the gang was already ready to defend their claim-no matter how small it was. “We don’t who you are, mate, but you’re going to have to turn around and leave. “ yelled General. His gang agreeing with him. “Whoa there, I ain’t here to take nothing or harm ya’. Ah’m here to ask a favor.” explained a familiar voice. “Mac?“ asked Valor, yet he was interrupted. “Eeyup, it’s me, and there’s no time to waste. We gotta leave now.” General walked up to the farmer and poked his broad chest. He stared down the stallion; their eyes barely level. “What makes you think the Lost Colts will help you? I mean, we already helped your sorry flank before.” “Unlike last time, your help could change the course of events in Canterlot.” “I think we should help. We can trust him.” Valor said, speaking up. General took his words to hearts, but still had the group’s interest above everything else, “What’s in it for us? Lost Colts don’t work for free, or did you forget?” Mac sighed before throwing out a bag of bits. They spilled on the floor causing the dimly lit area to explode with reflected light glory. All the colts couldn’t help but just stare at the currency. It was more than any of them had ever seen in their young lives. The younger colts moved in quick and gathered the bits. Within seconds, the bits and the colts were safely hidden. “That is up front pay, and when the job is done, you get the rest and a very special surprise.” “Being?” Valor asked. “You just gotta trust me. It’s worth all the trouble in the world.” Mac turned to leave; not looking back once. The Lost Colts looked at each before giving the unknowing shrug. One by one they followed the Mac. One way or the other, the rest of the week would be interesting for those young colts. _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Shining walked through Canterlot, bored as always. Without a threat to Equestria, he was pretty useless. All he did everyday was check tedious reports, sign useless papers, and check status of the military- they were bored too. With a sigh, he sat on a bench. He barely noticed when a familiar figure sat next to him. “Sup, bro? How are things?” He asked. “Pretty good. Hey, I got a question for ya.” replied the Mac. “ What ,dude?” “Wanna help me with a mission? It’s probably going to be dangerous. I could use some backup.” “Alright. Let’s go, bro.” After they started walking, Mac smirked and thought to himself, 'That was easy.'
