Chapter 1
It was a long time ago, even longer than I can remember. It was about 10 years ago in PonyVille, where this tragedy all began. It was a cold, winter morning in PonyVille, all was silent and calm. I was on vacation with my parents, but I miss home, and I knew this was not home. My mom came over and asked if I was having fun. I replied," No, I don't like it here. It feels weird. I feel like theirs a strange presence some where."
"Oh Twily,"Mom replied." You know that kind of thing is fake, right?"
"I don't know anymore." I replied in confusion. I was sweating buckets, feeling the sweat dripping down my face, drop by drop. I just knew I wasn't alone, but I don't think my parents felt the same. I didn't even want to go on this vacation, the only reason why I came was because my 5th birthday was coming up, and they decided to take me to PonyVille. I'd rather go to Rainbow Falls then be here. I then asked my mom if I could go outside and get some fresh air.
"Alright Twily, just be back before dark, ok?"Mom said.
"Ok mom." I replied.
I trotted out feeling the burning coldness on my face. Winter was always my favorite season. The scenery was the best at winter, better than fall in my opinion. As I was trotting down the road I saw some interesting ponies, but I saw a group of fillies, about my age, ganging up on another pony. I couldn't see the pony but I knew she or he was in trouble.
"Hey!" I called out."Leave him or her alone!"
The gang of fillies looked back at me, and stared with hate in their eyes. I got to see what the pony looks like. It was a mare for sure. She was all covers in scars, and blood. She had blue fur with rainbow colored hair. She was a pegasus pony by the looks of it.
"Well, well, well, look at what we got here." one of the members said."Looks like we got more meat to beat up on."
I looked at them with a face they will regret ever looking at. But they didn't care, and went back to beating up the blue pony. I shouted at them,"HEY! I SAID TO LEAVE HER ALONE!" With all my might I then shot out a mini laser beam of magic at them. The laser striked the one pony, but nothing happened for a couple seconds. Then the pony screamed out in pain like an axe going into your skull.
"AGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"screamed the one pony. I could feel the pain, but I found this as a chance to save the pony. I went over to her.
" Quickly, get up!" She grabbed my hoof, and I stared to dash as fast as I could. I felt that we were a safe distance from the pony gang. I could still here his pain of shocking electricity. I slowly trotted up to the pony, and asked if she was ok.
"I'm fine...T-thanks to you." the pony replied.
"Well that's good," I replied." By the way, what's your name?"
The pony starred at me for a little bit."M-my name is Rainbow D-dash."
"Rainbow Dash," I replied."I like it! Such a pretty name!"
"Thanks," she blushed a little bit. I must of been her hero now." I was named after my dad, Spectrum."
"Well nice to meet you Rainbow Dash! My name is Twilight Sparkle."
"Nice to meet you Twilight! I can already tell we're going to be best friends!" Rainbow Dash said in excitement. I looked at the sky and saw that it was already noon. Rainbow Dash then asked me if she could show me to her other friends. I agreed and she lead me to the place where her and her friends hang out.
