	Luna peered around her room to see the soft light of the rising sun shining through the window. She looked down at the small wrapped foal beside her. Sunbeam will be happy to have a new sister, Luna thought to herself. The young Alicorn stood up and peeked at a small bed beside her, in which Sunbeam was sleeping. Princess Luna heard a creak and popped her head up to see Celestia waving her hoof at the door. Luna opened the door after making sure both fillies were sleeping peacefully. Celestia whispered to her sister excitedly, "They are so cute! Can I name her please?" The moon princess was about to respond, but Celestia continued, "You know what I think Discord could help with this." Luna's eyes widened and was shaking her head, but it was too late, the draconequus was already in the room grinning.

Her two year old filly woke and asked quietly, "Can I see my sister," her face lit up and then continued, "If you didn't already name her can I help?" Luna smiled at her filly and turned her attention back to Celestia who was chasing Discord because he made her tail into cotton candy and was trying to eat it.

"Celestia," Luna was fuming as she spoke, "Why would we need Discord here? He will not help at all! If anything he will curse both of my children!" She then realized she was being overprotective and needed to calm down, after taking several breaths she restarted the conversation. "Look I just want to be alone and have all the princesses here before I let him in here." Celestia nodded and with a flash of her magic Twilight Sparkle and Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, Princess Cadence, were in the room. Luna face-hoofed herself and said, "We could have waited, but ok I see your really into this."

Celestia spoke excitedly to the confused Twilight and Cadence, "Princess Luna had another filly! We want to introduce you to her. Discord and Sunbeam are going to pick out the name along with us. My sister wants us to wait until later, I can't wait!" With a puff of Twilight's magic Celestia had tape over her mouth muffling her next words. Princess Celestia blushed with embarrassment and realized this isn't how she should behave. "Sorry, I should calm down. I haven't been this excited in a long while." Soon they were all laughing at the Sun Princess, while she scowled. "Yes, yes I make mistakes now can we get on with it?"  Discord nodded, happy he would do something now, other than try to eat Celestia's tail.

Discord began to come up with names, "Derpy Hooves, Luna, Celestia, Applejack, Twilight. How about Forsythia?" He pondered the thought of those names being taken, so he decided to try to summon anypony with a name like that. Soon there were 3 ponies added to the room. "Hmm. I suppose those names aren't cut out for this filly." After deciding that he put the ponies back where he got them.

Luna nodded, "I was thinking maybe Moonbeam," she shook her head and continued, "Moonbeam would almost be like making Sunbeam and her twins. We should do a vote!" Everypony nodded, "Ok my top two are Starlight or Eclipse." She looked at the others and they wrote the votes down on a chalkboard. Celestia and Twilight voted Starlight, but Sunbeam, Discord, and Cadence voted Eclipse. "I officially name my filly Eclipse!" There was a loud round of applause, especially from Discord who made ten multiples of himself.

Luna whispered into Discord's ear grinning a little weirdly. Discord nodded happily and immediately Twilight, Celestia, Cadence, and Sunbeam braced for the worst. When the princesses opened their eyes they were clean and had their dresses from Twilight's coronation, as for Sunbeam her white coat matched well with a dress that looked similar to Celestia's dress except it was shimmery gold and a white base. Sunbeam's short mane was pulled into a braid, her mane had sunset colors. Such as yellows, pinks, scarlet, and oranges. The young Alicorn looked like she was about to burst into tears from laughter, the sight of Discord in a tuxedo was too much for her. The group was about to leave when Luna paused and did a face-hoof and grabbed Eclipse with her magic bringing the small filly with them.

Luna greeted the kingdom of curious ponies with a warm smile and spoke, "I have news for you all, good news." Princess Luna held her filly up high and spoke, "We have a new princess in Canterlot today and she is my filly, Eclipse." The moon princess looked confused as she scanned the crowd, everypony looked like a scared little mouse cornered by a tiger. She looked at her filly eyes widening, instead of square teeth like a regular pony she had fangs, instead of round eyes, dragon eyes! The princess had tears coming from her eyes and she teleported away from a few very confused princesses and Discord. Sunbeam suddenly disappeared with a poof of blue magic, everypony assumed it was Luna's. While the others that were still on the platform trying to calm everypony down, Luna locked the door and put a anti-magic seal so only she could get in or out. Sunbeam tried to comfort her mother unsure of the problem.

Soon it sounded as if their was a herd of buffalo outside her door. Luna heard a southern accent she knew all to well speak, "Princesses Ah'm not exactly understandin' why you need us to help, Ah think she got her looks from Luna 'cause that once was her looks Ah think." 

Twilight shared a glance with Celestia and Cadence and then replied, "We know but just in case keep your elements with you. I don't trust her. What if Luna's past will be what happens to her daughter?" Princess Luna heard the whole thing and decided to pay her fellow princesses, Discord, and the Elements of Harmony a small visit.

The moon princess told Sunbeam, "Stay here, Mommy will be right back." After seeing her daughter acknowledge her she burst out the door her ears pinned to the back of her head. She ran down the hall into a room into a small lounging area where the mares talked. Luna thought to herself, "Keep your elements with you! Ugh, I will show you a reason to keep you elements on! My past in my daughter, this is an outrage!" All the mares stopped talking looking at Luna.

Rarity knew that she needed a way to get the butler out of the room. She chimed in, "Oh dear, I think we could use some chamomile tea," she paused and looked at the butler nearby dusting a vase, "Would you be a dear and fetch us some tea?" The butler rushed off not wanting to disappoint guests under the watch of Princesses.  

Once he was out of sight Luna spoke, "My DAUGHTER will not be treated this way! Just because she inherited something of mine that is linked to bad memories does not mean she will  turn out that way!" The ponies thought about it, but none dared speak until Luna calmed down. 	

Rainbow Dash was next to speak, "I have to side with Luna on this one, I mean the kid might not even be evil she could turn out like Fluttershy for all we know!" 

Pinkie Pie bounced over beside Rainbow and Luna, "I agree with Dashie and Lulu, but on to more important stuff. WE NEED TO THROW A PARTY FOR THE NEW FILLY!" 

Twilight glared hard at Pinkie making her quiet before speaking, "I still don't think we should trust her yet until we meet her." She looked at Fluttershy, "What do you think?" 

Fluttershy replied, "I don't know Twilight, I think Applejack is right. If you don't mind, I'm going to go over with Luna and them." Fluttershy crouched down worried her friend will be mad at her. She looked up at the purple Alicorn, eyes Twilight sighed and soft and gentle.

Twilight sighed and kindly said, "It's fine, what do you think Cadence?" She looked at her sister in-law silently hoping that Cadence would agree with her and get the others to believe her too.

She replied, "Well Twilight I think you are being a little too hasty. After all she is one day old, how can we expect something so monstrous out of that cutie?" 

Celestia spoke up, "The same way my sweet sister was turned into that nightmare!" Rarity and Applejack stared at Celestia surprised she would say such negative words. 

Applejack spoke up, "Ah'm not comfortable judging her without getting to know her." 

Rarity agreed with one simple word, "Ditto!" Twilight looked around and realized the only pony who agreed with her was Celestia, and before she knew it there were 5 necklaces at her hooves and two upset princesses. Hearing enough Princess Luna teleported everypony into her chambers blocking Celestia and Twilight.
