//------------------------------// // Part 2: The Night Out // Story: A Bond Carved In Blood // by MajorFrostwing //------------------------------// A Bond Carved Through Blood Part 2: The Night Out By: Major Frostwing My name is Charles Bishop and I am a vampire. I am about 6' weight about 200 lbs all muscle. Ladies. My hair is black rather long in my opinion but I like it that way my eyes are a piercing blue. I was transported to this world somehow and was found by 6 women who I found out were a race of people called ponies. Now I begin my strange adventures in this world hopefully nobody wakes me up in the middle of the day. ------------------------------------- "Charles it is night." I heard Twilight say as she knocked on my casket. We had decided that Twilight's was the best location for me to be since she had a very dark basement. My casket's top slid off as I sat up. "Thank you Twilight." I said standing up scratching the back of my head. "Do you know where I can get some food?" She visibly paled at my question. "Not that food I meant real food." She sighed in relief nodding. "You can go to the club or the diner down the road." I nodded placing my hand under my chin thinking which will get me what I wanted. "Thank you again Twilight." She smiled walking with me up the stairs. "Oh I will need new clothes eventually do you know a good tailor?" She nodded. "Rarity is the best seamstress she can make you a glorious suit that would make you the talk of the town." She said sending all the praise to her friend. "That's quite the feat." I said stopping in the living room of her home. I looked around all of the books smiling. In my world I would collect literature I even had a few original copies of Edgar Allan Poe's poems. "I shall return before dawn, Twilight." I stepped out the door into the night closing the door behind me. "Let's go to the club." I took to the skies gliding to the club. ------------------------------- As I entered the club I felt the beat from the music a heavy dubstep not really my music I am more of a classical music person. I still thought it was funny that a few people were looking at me and a few were staring at me. As I made my way to the bar I saw a few big guys sitting there and a female who was being hounded by them. I sighed as I pushed one of them out of my way taking his seat. "You got a death wish?" I heard one say to me placing his hand on my shoulder. "Don't touch me..." I smacked his hand off of my shoulder. "Filth is not allowed to touch me." I turned looking at the man my blue eyes flashed gold for a split second. He backed away from me. "Now leave I don't have the time to deal with you." I turned back looking forward to the barkeep. I felt my view go up then back down as my head was slammed into the bar top. "That will teach you punk." I pulled my head up something was strange though the look on my face wasn't anger but happiness. I turned looking at them. "leave or be forced to." I said still smiling. They were about to say something when I grabbed an empty beer bottle off the bar cracking the first guy over the head he fell. I reached out seizing the last two by the throat pulling them close. "Next words are to be chosen carefully." They nodded raising their hands. "We'll leave no need to fight." I let them go as they picked up their friend leaving the club. I sighed placing my hand to my forehead. I took my seat at the bar ordering a beer. "Thank you those brutes were ruining my night." I glanced over to see the girl I helped sipping on a glass of wine. "Wine at a club I think it would be rude to say you are not a person from a very powerful family." I was handed my beer taking a light sip from it. "Indeed my family does hold some power in Canterlot." She turned to face me smiling. "My name is Octavia." She held out her hand to me. "What is your name?" I took hold of her hand leaning down I kissed the top of her hand. I finally got a good look at her She had straight black hair her eyes were a gentle pink. She wore a black dress with a pink Treble clef on her hip. She was a stunning woman but a little to out of my league. "I am Charles A. Bishop and it is a pleasure to meet you Miss Octavia." I looked up to see her blush gently. "And what do you think you are doing with my girl." I released Octavia's hand turning to the new voice it was a girl with electric blue hair. She was wearing a black belly shirt with a white vest on she also wore black skinny jeans. I went to look at her eyes only seeing violet shades covering her eyes. "Hey bub I asked you a question." She grabbed the collar of my suit. I looked at her hand and then back at her eyes. "Can you let me go?" I asked annoyed. "Not until you answer me." I wanted to just seize this woman by the throat but it goes against everything I stand for as a vampire. A pale hand was set on the woman's arm. "Vinyl let him go he helped me with those brutes." Octavia said annoyed at this Vinyl girl. "But babe he could be with those guys." She said all I could do was look at both of them. "You never know." I let out an annoyed sigh. "Can you please for the love of the moon let go of my suit I happen to like this one." She turned towards me with what I could tell was a glare. "I have done nothing wrong." She tightened her grip before suddenly letting go. "I'm sorry." She muttered as I adjusted my suit coat. "Charles I would like to introduce my girlfriend Vinyl Scratch also know as DJ Pon3." I held my fist out to Vinyl smiling gently she looked at it slamming her fist into it after she did she grimaced in pain. "Your fist is like hitting a brick wall." She said rubbing her hand smirking at me. "Yea a few people say that." I took a drink of my beer calmly. "Anyway I think I have caused enough trouble for the night I have to leave." I set down a few bits on the table adjusting my coat before turning away. "It was a pleasure to meet both of you." They nodded as I walked out of the club. when I was far enough away I took to the air gliding through the night. ----------------------------- I was watching the night for so long I almost didn't make it home before the first rays of day. I yawned as I moved my way to the basement crawling into my casket closing the lid with a sigh. I let sleep take hold of me as the dream world took me into it's cold embrace.
