//------------------------------// // Reunion and Ideas. // Story: Pinkie Pie & Twilight Velvet's Foalish Fun Place // by Daxn //------------------------------// Two hours after leaving Twilight's house, Pinkie Pie had already arrived back in Ponyville, bringing several pieces of foalish furniture and items with her, and, more internally, disappointment. Not that it drastically changed her usually cheery mood. "It's a pity that Velvet couldn’t come with me," she said, while skipping, the furniture somehow remaining balanced on her back in a physically impossible way in a wheat jute sack "she was the perfect mare for fullfill my and other ponies' dreams: she is a lovely mother that, no matter the age, wants to keep loving her babies, through any means necessary." Pinkie Pie kept going strolling through the town's main plaza, the common ponies noticing Pinkie Pie bringing lots of heavy stuff on her back, and acting slightly surprised, before shrugging it off as one of Pinkie's usual antics. Finally, after a rather long walk, she arrived at an empty building. She set down the huge stack of furniture and wiped her brow from the sweat. The building didn't particularly stand out for the architecture, compared to the other buildings, since it was still a normal rural two-story house with visible beams and round windows. However, the rest stuck out like a sore thumb, compared to the rest of the town. Several large parts of the external walls had paint scrapped in several points, revealing the irregular stones and the solidified white mortar behind. The windows were dirty beyond belief, but they were at least intact. Pinkie Pie, after leaving the furniture behind turned the brass handle shaped like a pine cone. The door opened with ease, and she entered. The oak door, despite its age, had surprisingly resisted to the time, and, thus, could be kept there, though would need a new coat of paint. The entrance hall was very spacious, a white wall in the center created a forked path leading down two hallways. A rather plain dust-covered desk sat against it. Both alleyways were wide, which made it look like changing rooms(even if the room in the right had the sign "Stallions" still hanging on the half-unhinged pressed light green door). Along the hallways there were a file of ten rusty lockers, some with the lock destroyed, some even reduced to only the walls and the base. In a corner sat the rusted showers, some missing taps and others clearly now incapable of running water. A set of wrecked green metal benches sat on the opposite wall from the lockers, and the floor was paved with white-ish ceramic tiles weathered by time. Some were broken or cracked hidden in the shadows. In a feat of impressive architectural skill, the stairs were in the dead center of the room, with molded cardboard covers as only screen against the scenes going in the changing room. Pinkie, after inspecting the deserted changing rooms, went upstairs on the stairs that she suppsoed in Mares' room. The room upstairs was similar to the main floor, disheveled and in desperate need of repair. Specifically, while empty, the room had a parquet floor with broken boards, and dumbless scattered around. The ceiling lamp was shaped like a couple of snakes twisted on a coil, having one without its head and the other without the rest of the body. Pinkie noted thst it also lacked a lightbulb. “Wow, this place is a mess,” she said “but I think that it will like nicer, once my friends decide to help me with cleaning it up.” Heading downstairs once more, Pinkie took the furniture and, not without struggle, or even sweating, she managed to get everything in the room: the changing table, the two wardrobes, the colorful bookcase, the seven wicker baskets full of toys and the high chair. “Okay, the furniture is here,” she said, walking away “but now I have to go home. I will go to find some help in restoring this place tomorrow morning.” Pinkie Pie, with a sigh, as she walked down the empty hallways of the building, imagining how this place could be turned into something… better. A place where she could practice her dream of being a foal, without anybody unwanted judging her. But for now the building was just a deserted building of no use for anyone. She left out another sad sigh, before thinking. “But, think positive, you will enjoy it sooner or later! Smile!” Making up her mind, she started to skip-walk to her home, truly content with that. On her walk back home she passed through the plaza, and noticed a familiar white and lilac shape in the distance, keeping two luggages in what it seemed the magical aura. “Don’t tell me…” Thought Pinkie. The shape got nearer, and soon she saw that it was, indeed, Velvet. Pinkie Pie sat down, her mouth agape. she lifted her hoof and closed her mouth. her body trembled, charging up with energies, before jumping in the sky like a firework, leaving behind a multicolored glittery trail. The townsfolk, once again, looked briefly in the sky, before shrugging it off as Pinkie’s weirdness. Naturally, the ones amazed were the new arrivals of the station, like Velvet. Pinkie Pie, after her flight, descended and hit the ground violently near the fountain, but surprisingly receiving no damage whatsoever. Velvet, after her own brand of positive shock, ran towards Pinkie with a wide smile on her face. “Pinkie! Pinkie! my beloved Pinkie! I was worried about you!” She greeted, before hugging her. Pinkie Pie giggled. “Heheh, I was also worried about you!” She said “But I see that Twily didn’t punish you after all.” “Actually,” Velvet said, scratching the back fo her head “I ran away from her punishment. Also, Nighty has given a letter to me for you.” Velvet took one of the stamp-covered leather luggages with bronze hinges and opened it. She reached in and took a lettered envelope from under a beauty case. Excited, Pinkie clapped her fore hooves slightly, ““Whatisthiswhatisthiswhatisthis” she exclaimed continuously. she snatched it from Voilet opened the envelope. Pinkie Pie extracted the true letter, and read it. It was not an happy letter. “To my friend Pinkie Pie. While you may be overjoyed by the news of my mother joining you in your desires of regression. I have to inform you that she has not been sent to you because we just wanted to make you and her happy, but also because I and my father want to cure her mental illness. Find a therapist, send me a letter back with the price, and I will provide the mental care for her. Please do so, the fate of my mother’s sanity lies in your hands and that’s something I’m making you responsible for. Fail to comply, and there will be grave consequences. Consider yourself warned. -Twilight Sparkle.” Pinkie Pie hastily made a knot on her mane, so to not forget it later on. Done with the knot, she looked up at Velvet ,“Yeah, I see. Now,” she said, “Follow me to my house, my place has a spare bedroom you can use.” Velvet smiled, as she closed the luggage once again “That would be nice, yes.” PInkie trotted happily with Velvet at her side as they headed down the street. As they did so, Pinkie thought to herself. “Oooh, it is SO nice to have a mommy that will take care of me! Oh, the fun we will have once we setup the building! Pity that I would be a single foal!” Then suddenly like a lightbulb going off, Pinkie got an idea. “Wait, I’m not the only one that likes this. I know that there are ponies that would like to be little foals even for a short while. Why would I keep this to me only, if I have all the space and resources I want? What if I share it… scratch that, I make a business out of it? Hiring ponies willingly to run part of it for me, taking another two caretakers besides Velvet, and all the jazz? ” Pinkie’s eyes shined like stars at midnight, tiny sparkles glinting in her pupils.. “You are a genius!” she shouted, now hyper. “I am?” Velvet asked rather confused by Pinkie’s sudden shouting. PInkie nods and swiftly explained her idea to her. Velvet’s eyes turned into shining stars, no, supernovas, at the thought. “Yes! Yes! Yes!” She squealed with as much joy as the voice of an old mare could give. Pinkie smiled, at Velvet’s appreciation. Indeed, now it was only a matter of time, before ther desires could turn into secondary income on something she liked...
