Twilight raced to her dorm."That was close."Somepony had wanted to ask her about the cloak.
'SSSpiikkeee"
"Coming,Twi."
"They're getting bigger,more noticeable,what am I suppose to do?"
"Can I see them?"
"Weeelll..."
"Doors locked,curtains closed."
"Okay."
Using her horn she slowly levitated the cloak off,revealing magnificent purple wings.
"Oh Spike,what happens when ponies find out?"
"You could always be a superhero,like in comic books."
"But I'm not that type of pony."
"Yes you are.I believe you can do it."
"Thanks my number one assistant,but I just want to be normal.I'm a scholar,not a hero."
While Spike thought of something to say in reply,they heard a knock at the door.Twilight quickly put it back on and raced to the door.
"Hello Principal Guiding Light."
"Twilight,two new students are arriving a little late in the year.Could you make them feel at home?"
"Of course."
After the principal left and the door closed,she let out a groan and threw herself on her bed.
"Twilight whats wrong?"
"Apparently I have to play foalsitter for two new students tomorrow."
"It might not be that bad."
"But they will probably want to be friends,and who needs those?"
Twilight started working on her homework,signaling to Spike that the conversation was closed.
Sweet Apple acres 4:30 same date
"Ya know that Ya never win,right Pinkie?"
"But it's SSSSsssssoooooOOO fun to race you Applejack! Besides,I go to school tomorrow.This Is OUR.LAST.CHANCE."
"Well..alright."
"On yer marks..get set..GO"
Suddenly a pink line appeared next to Applejack.
"Yay! I win! PARTY TIME!Hey,Applejack,why is your mouth hanging open?"
Maretropolis Animal Shelter 5:30 same date
"Here you go Mr.Kitten Whiskers.Your paw should be all better now."
"Fluttershy,could you close for me?"
"Y-yes Rosie."
"Thanks,your the best."
After she left,Fluttershy was cleaning up the animal shelter when she heard somepony yelling.Looking out of the window,she saw her neighbor,Mr.Grouchy,beating a rabbit.Suddenly,she felt herself grow angry.He had done awful stuff to her before,but beating a defenseless creature!
"HEY! WHY DON'T YOU BEAT SOMEPONY YOUR OWN SIZE!'
He took one look and took off running in the other direction.
"Hello little one,whats your name?Angel Bunny?Well Angel,why don't you come with me?"

"Now Twilight,I hope you use this as an opportunity to make some friends."
"Okay Principal Light."
Twilight sighed as she walked down the hall.This kept getting better and better.First she has to play play nursemaid,now he wants her to make friends!?
"Whats wrong Twilight?"
"He wants me to make FRIENDS?!Friendship isn't important. Knowledge is whats important."
"Why don't you at least make an effort Twi?"
"The only friends I need are you,Shiny,and Cadence.Lets get this over with."
Twilight put a smile on her face that didn't look too fake and opened the door.
"Hello,my name is Twilight Sparkle."
"Hi ya,IIIiiiii'mmmMMMMM Pinkie Pie!!!!!!!!"
Pinkie grabbed her hoof and began to shake,completely oblivious to the discomfort she was putting Twilight in.
"And you are?"
"I-i'm F-fluttershy."
She squeaked and hid behind her mane.
"Great." Twilight thought."We have the crazy super out going pony and the one afraid of her own shadow."
"If the two of you will follow me the headmaster arranged it so that we have the same schedule.Our first class is myths and legends."
"Now class,this is one of the only positive stories about mutants,and nopony knows how old it is."
As the teacher prepared to read,Twilight heard strange noises.When she turned to look she saw another student,a pegasus named Rainbow Dash,messing around.
"Ms.Dash."
"Ya teach?"
"Please stop disrupting the class.Unless you want to spend another evening washing blackboards?"
Mumbling under her breath the unruly pegasus stopped making armpit noises.
"Now,if everypony is finished,we will begin.The legend is called The Hero Pony Sisters."
"Once their where two unicorn sisters, the younger one as dark as night, the older one as light as day,who protected the ponies.One fateful day the younger noticed that the ponies they watched over gave her sister all the credit. Her jealousy and greed ate away at her,until one fateful day,she gave into it transforming into a wicked mare of darkness,Nightmare Moon.Heartbroken, the older one fought the younger,and banished her to the moon."
As soon as the teacher finished the story, the bell rang.Going to her next class,Twilight Sparkle thought of something.The myth said they where unicorns.The pictures showed them with wings.They where like her.Which meant it might have really happened.
"Spike."
"Yes,Twilight."
"I want every book on that myth you can find."
Maretropolis Apartments,Same day,same time
A lone figure looks out over the city from her window,unaware of the sad sigh that escapes.Soon her sister will return.She hopes that her sister will seek forgiveness,but knows it is unlikely.She can only hope and wait.

"She can come BACK!"
"Twilight,don't you think you're over reacting? C'mon,it's just a myth."
"No,it might be real,the two ponies in the illustrations looked like me."
"Why don't you concentrate on making friends like the principle asked?"
"AAARRRRGGGHHH!" Twilight screamed and buried her face in a pillow.
