Comet tails followed Eclipse as the galloped into the ever free forest.
"Wait up please!" Comet tails cried out desperately. Eclipse had galloped ahead of her. "Please I don't want to be left behind!!!" Eclipse stopped and looked around, trying to figure out where to go next.
"Let's go this why, its denser and they won't find us as easily." Eclipse decided.
"Okay but can we walk for a while my legs are soar." She replied. Eclipse nodded seeing the other filly was starting to look tired.
"Okay, sorry. I just didn't want them to see us enter here."
"It's okay. I'm sorry I was discovered." They started walking deeper into the woods.
"It's okay." Eclipse smiled.
"I thought maybe she was going to help."
"Forget about it okay. Well find a new home soon." Eclipse attempted to reassured her. Comet tails looked down. "And even if we don't find one, we still have eachother." Eclipse placed a wing over the silver filly, who looked up and smiled for the first time that night.
"You know Applejack said we were daughters of princesses." Comet Tails said quietly.
"If that is true, and I don't think it is, Why would our mothers give us up?" Eclipse interrogated.
"She said we were snatched. I think they must miss us."
"Ha! It's more they like sold us or gave us away." Eclipse snapped sarcastically.
"Eclipse…"
"Mothers don't just let their kids get taken. Especially if they are royalty, and even if that is the case I don't think I would want to be a daughter of them." Comet tails went quiet, she touched a raw nerve, and it upset her first and only friend.
Eclipse hadn't meant the things she said she was only heartbroken, and confused. Why her? How could this happen to her. She hadn't done anything wrong that she knew of. If she did do something bad… What was it that she did to deserve this life. She gave Comet tails a glance. She had her head hung numbly. She turned back to see where she was going the same thoughts going threw her mind in a brutal circle.
Back in the kitchen on sweet apple acres all the members of the apples sat down.
"Hey where are Silver mist and golden blaze?" Applejack asked.
"Oh they said they were tired so they went to bed early." Apple bloom answered quickly… too quickly for AJ's liking.
"Applebloom?" She looked up into her big sisters green eyes, which were glancing suspiciously at her.
"Yes, AJ?" She asked trying to sound innocent.
"Is there something you want to tell your big sister?" AJ asked.
"No, I ain't keeping anything from y'all." Apple bloom blurted out.
"I didn't ask ya if y'all was keeping something from me." Applejack glance turned into a intense gaze.
"Opps."
"Apple bloom, you know what we told you about lying." Granny smith scolded. "Now, tell us what you are keeping from your family."
"Okay, alright, I'll confess. They ran away." Apple bloom admitted.
"What?" Applejack gasped. A knock on the door grabbed their attention. Applejack walked up and answered to find Pinkie Pie.
"AppleJack!"
"Pinkie, listen we have a problem."
"I should say so. The two fillies who you are housing are the two lost princesses! I tell you I recognized them instantly, it's like a super power. Om my gosh. Maybe I should become a super pony. I'll call myself The Masked Pinkster, or maybe The Pink Cavalier" pinkie said hyper as usually.
"Pinkie I know but they ran away. I don't know where they went."
"What!?! This look like a job for…" pinkie jumped in the air and sprung on a black cap and mask. "Pinkster The Masked Cavalier! Tra-la de la de la!" Pinkie sung in a heroic way and galloped into the night. AJ turned to her sister.
"Please tell where they went." She asked holding her sister by the shoulders.
"They went into the forest." The small filly answered.
"At this time of night?! Oh no. Big make go get the rest of the group and tell them to meet me at the edge of the orchard the search town just in case."
"Eeyup." The red colt said as he ran out the door.
"I'll come too." Apple bloom said eager to help her friends and family.
"Oh no. You stay here with granny just in case they come back, and besides it's dangerous, and I don't want to have to look for you too." And AJ headed out.
Back in the forest the two fillies were still alone. They stood in a open circle of trees.
"Um, Eclipse. I think we're lost." Comet tails said shaking. The forest was starting to scare her, now that they had no idea where they were.
"I know." Eclipse agreed. A howl in the distance made them jump.
"What was that?"
"I don't know but we shouldn't stay here to find out." The two started walking again, various noises of the night the only thing they could hear, occasionally making them stop and look around. Soon they started to hear soft foot steps behind them.
"Hello who's there?"Comet asked knees shaking. They waited. No one answered.
"Come on let's keep moving." They started to walk again.
The main six gathered at the edge of the orchard.
"What's the matter applejack? Big Mac said it was urgent." Rarity asked skidding to a halt.
"Thanks for coming y'all. We need to venture back into the ever free forest. You see we took in two fillies and they gone and ran off, but that's not it I just found out that they are the lost princesses." AJ explained.
"What?! We got to find those fillies and we got to find them now." Rainbow dash said taking charge.
"I agree with rainbow dash and we better it looks like there's a storm about to start in there." Twilight pointed out.
"Well what are you guys waiting for? Let find those princesses!!! Pinkster The Masked Cavalier away! Tra-la de la de la!!" Pinkie pie said stepping out of the shadows. Then charging in followed by the rest of the group.
