As Spike left, the red alicorn went to pick up Bolty’s kitchen knife and saw the name of the owner. “Looks like this knife belong to the Apple family. I’ll return it to Applejack so she can bring it back.”
The red pony took the knife and walk down Ponyville to look for Applejack. But little did he know, the black unicorn was still following him. “His magic is very impressive. It’s time to begin...”
So the black unicorn climbed to the roof of a building Eder was walking past, and as he came close, the unicorn jumped from the roof in front of Eder.
“WAH! Who are you?!” said Eder, shocked.
“Hello there, young alicorn,” said the black unicorn.
Eder gave a serious expression to the stallion. “You didn’t answer my question. Who are you??”
“I’m one of the new royal guards to Princess Luna, Dukes Rubel.” Said the unicorn.
Eder gave a sigh of relief as he examined the unicorn, confused as to what was going on. “What do you want from me?!”
Dukes walked up to Eder. “Nothing. I’ve been watching you and I’ve seen how kind you are to other ponies, having nice conversations with them. It’s like you have a heart of gold.”
Eder sat down, tired from what happened during the day. “Yeah, everypony seems to be talking about me for being a alicorn, having a unique cutie mark, and now they thought I would have been killed by Bolty, but of course I knock him with the same magic ball I used when he was at the academy.”
“Look, have a reason for being here. It’s a warning, something is coming.” Said Dukes, looking Eder in the eye.
“What’s coming?” asked Eder, looking concerned.
“2 great and powerful villains of Equestria. They’ve joined forces and plan to conquer Equestria.” Said Dukes in a slightly low voice.
Now Eder was worried. “Huh? Villains?”
Dukes nodded. “That’s right. I know one of them is Queen Chrysalis, the ruler of the changlings. As for the other… I’m not completely sure… although it felt like… Princess Luna. But it can’t possibly be her, she turned good again.”
Eder thought to himself. “Two villains want to conquer Equestria?”
“And the ones who harness the Elements of Harmony are in danger.” Said Dukes.
Eder asked the unicorn, “But what does this have anything to do with me?”
Dukes placed his hooves on Eder’s shoulders. “You are Twilight’s student, you have to warn her that she’s not safe.”
Eder was still very confused. Dukes was warning him about Chrysalis’ plan with another villain to kidnap the Mane 6, the ones who hold the power of the Elements of Harmony.
“Head my warning young alicorn, the time is coming.” Said Dukes as he jumped onto the roofs and walked away.
While Eder continued to watch him until he was out of sight, Babs Seed and Applebloom saw the red alicorn and walked towards him.
“Howdy there. Aren’t you that red alicorn that are talking about?” Applebloom asked Eder.
“Why yes I am.” Said Eder, trying to calm down.
Applebloom gave Eder a big smile. “Well, mighty nice to meet you, I’m Applebloom, and this is my cousin Babs Seed.”
Eder thought for a moment as he saw Babs Seed and Applebloom together, and giggled. “You’re like Scootaloo and Rarity’s little sister; you’re all fillies.”
“Yeah! With all of us together, we are the Cutie Mark Crusaders.” Said Applebloom, trying to show off a cool pose.
“Yeah!” said Babs Seed as her cousin made her pose.
“Crusaders huh?” Eder said to the fillies.
“Yup! We’re planning to get our cutie marks, no matter what!” said Babs Seed, wrapping her arm around Applebloom.
While the three ponies were talking with each other, Snails and Snip walked to the red alicorn and the 2 fillys. “Hi there Eder, looks like you’ve started to make new friends.”
“Indeed I have.” Said Eder, giving a slight smile.
“The Great and Powerful Trixie told us about you being Twilight’s first student.” Said Snip.
“You’re Twilight’s student?” said Applebloom, looking surprised.
“Wow, that’s pretty cool!” said Babs Seed.
Eder simply stared at the friendly ponies, happy about how much they were amused with his accomplishment.
Applebloom whispered something in her cousin’s ear, then looked to the red pony and asked, “Hey Eder, you wouldn’t mind us giving you something, would you?”
“Not at all.” Said Eder, giving the two fillies a smile.
“Well, here you go.” Said Babs Seed as she gave Eder 99 special collectors cards.
“What are these?” Eder asked the two fillies.
Snails came up to look at the cards. “Oh! Those are card of some of the most famous and popular ponies in Equestria!”
“They show info about each one!” said Snip as he looked at his friend Snails with joy.
“Me and my cousin thought we could get our cutie mark by collecting cards.” Said Applebloom.
“Yeah but we never got them, plus we had too many cards that are repeated so we decided to give them to all the fillies at the school.” Said Babs Seed.
Applebloom then looked at the other ponies and said. “Welp, I better get goin. My sis’ Applejack might be worried sick about me.”
Before Applebloom could leave, Eder stopped her. “Wait, Applebloom!”
Applebloom then looked to Eder. “What is it?”
“If she is your sister then take me to her. I have something that was stolen from her family.” Said Eder as he took out the knife that Bolty stole, then he put it away.
So Eder & Applebloom walked together to find Applejack, and said bye to Babs Seed, Snail and Snip.
