After teleporting to Earth, Discord proceeded to finding the orphanage and try to expose the awful things that happen there. With a small trace of that little girl Melody's scent and magic residue, I should be able to find the orphanage no problem. he thought to himself before teleporting away to the orphanage. When he saw the orphanage, he was horrified to see the state it was in. The windows were all broken, there were huge holes in the wall, and it looks like a rundown little mansion. Better go into stealth mode he thought to himself before teleporting inside, and turning invisible. When he got in, he was shocked to see what he saw. The adults who he assumed were all the caregivers treating the children like slaves, using whips, barking orders, and all sorts of awful things that are too harsh for words. He then heard what sounded like a plate crashing on the floor. He teleported, still invisible, to where the sound came from, and when he got there, there was a small boy on his knees trying to clean up the mess before one of the caregivers came in, but was too late, a big burly man stormed over to the small child and started to yell at him.
"YOU INCOMPETENT BRAT! IS THIS HOW YOU'LL TREAT YOUR NEW MOMMY AND DADDY?! BREAKING ALL THEIR DISHES?! Oh wait! You'll never get a mommy or a daddy, because your too worthless and insignificant! And as for the rest of you, no lunch until all chores are done!" he spat before stomping out leaving a now softly crying young boy. The others felt bad for him and tried to comfort him.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!" he cried softly.
"Shh, it's not you fault Pedro, it was an accident," said a young girl trying to comfort him.
"I'm sorry Molly, I didn't mean to drop the dish, I swear!" Pedro cried out.
"I BETTER NOT BE HEARING ANY BLUBBERING IN THERE!" roared the same man from before.
"We better get back to work," Molly said now feeling scared. Pedro nodded and went back to cleaning the mess. Discord was disgusted at how poorly they treat the children. He now knew that he needed more proof, and so he teleported away to get more evidence of the evil of the "caregivers".
Meanwhile, with the ponies,
After teleporting out of the castle to Earth, the ponies with a sleeping Melody and Clover proceeded to find the police department. After some walking, they found the police, then Celestia proceeded to talk to them. When the police saw the alabaster alicorn, the sit their coffee out in shock. "Are you the authorities?" she asked in a soft motherly tone.
This made the cops even more surprised when she spoke, "Uh yeah, we're patrol officers." one of the officers replied.
"I will explain a little later, but right now I need your help. It's concerning an orphanage," Celestia explained.
"Look, Mrs. horse lady, all orphanages are helped whenever they can be," the other cop said.
Celestia just shook her head, "No it isn't about that, it's about foal abuse. The caregivers of the orphanage in this town abuse the children in so many awful ways," Celestia explained. This made the cops gasp.
"Mark, you call the station and tell them our new case," the first officer said.
"Already on it Frank," the officer known as Mark said while getting ahold of the police station.
"How did you know about this abuse, and how long has it gone on?" Frank asked the regal sister.
"I do not know how long, but how I know, is because one of the sweet little girls over with Pinkie Pie," Celestia explained pointing her hoof in the direction of her friends and sister. When Frank saw the little girls, he slowly walked over to Pinkie.
"Excuse miss? Are you the one known as Pinkie Pie?" Frank asked looking down at the pink pony.
"Yep! And all I have to say, is that the mean meanies of that horrible orphanage were so cruel to her and the others." Pinkie explained.
"Well my friend Mark is getting ahold of the station right now, so me and the other cops down at the station will launch a full scale investigation of this orphanage." He said giving Pinkie a smile. "But, how did this little one get to your world anyway? And what of this other one too?" he asked with a quirked eyebrow looking at Clover.
"That would be my doing," Luna replied, with the officer now looking at the blue alicorn. "While I was beginning to start my shift in ruling our land, I heard the cry of young Melody and Clover," Luna explained with a stray tear rolling down her cheek. "She wished for a better life for her and the other orphans." she finished with a proud smirk. "And as for Clover, she wished for a new mommy and daddy who would comfort her when ever she was sad, and we want to try to convince her she isn't unlucky at all," Luna said giving the small princess a smile.
"Hmm, well, you all seem to be the right crowd for the little girls, and they seem to like you all to, so, I'll let it go at that," Frank said seeing Melody and Clover snuggle up to Pinkie. He then smiled warmly at the small children. Just then they all heard Frank's radio.
"Hey Frank, we need to go, the chief wants all available officers at the orphanage right away!" they heard Mark's voice on the radio.
"10-4 Heading back now," Frank spoke into his radio. "Sorry about that, go to go!" Frank said before heading back to the car. As soon as he got in, they dove in the direction of the orphanage. Just as they drove off, the ponies heard the cutest yawns. They all turned an saw Melody waking up.
"Oh, *yawn* good morning everypony," Melody said in a sleepy tone.
"Good morning everypony," Clover said with a sleepy tone to rival Melody's
"Good morning Melody," the ponies all said in unison. Blinking some more, Melody and Clover noticed they were all back on Earth.
"Why are we back on Earth?" Melody asked looking at the ponies curiously. Celestia trotted up to the group.
"We're here because we want to put an end to the abuse the children at the orphanage are receiving." she explained with a warm smile. "And also alert Clovers parents that she is going to live with us from now on," she added, smiling at the princess child.
Melody looked worried, "But what if we aren't able to prove the truth about the orphanage?" she asked looking nervous than ever.
"And what if my Mommy and Daddy find us? I don't want to go back to our castle!" Clover said practically crying.
"Don't worry none sugarcube, that's why we brought you along," Applejack reassured her. Melody looked at her curiously, then Luna walked up to her.
"I know a spell that will allow me to project your memories," Luna explained clarifying what Applejack was saying.
"Oh! That makes lots more sense!" Melody said with a smile.
"And I shall try to do the same with a royal court with Clovers parents," Luna said, seeing Clover breath a sigh of relief.
" I have a feeling we may need to go to a courthouse, so let's all try to find the courthouse.," Twilight said looking at the others as they all nod in agreement.
"So you're wanting a courthouse?" a voice said which made the ponies and Melody all jump. Turning they saw what appeared to be a young teenage colt with long brown hair, and emerald green eyes. He was wearing a red t-shirt, denim jacket, and denim pants, and was carrying what appeared to be a sword, the type you would see a ninja with.
"And who the hay are you?!" Rainbow Dash yelled, but the new human didn't flinch.
"Calm yourself, I am a friend, my name, is Shade, Shade Goodrivers," the boy said introducing himself. "And if your looking for the courthouse, just follow me, me and my family are attorneys, so I should be able to help you," he said before walking away.
"Should we?" Twilight asked the group.
"Well, he did say he knows where the courthouse is, so I say lets follow him," Rarity said.
"Yeah, and I would've been able to tell if he was a lyin', so lets go," Applejack said before taking off after Shade. The others nodded and they too, followed the mysterious Shade.
Meanwhile with Discord,
After seeing all he had to, Discord was quietly shedding tears at what horrors he had seen. Each child who would trip, or break something, they would be yelled at, and beaten on for just making a faint whimper about the accidents, and a few of the children would be beaten on if they even tried to talk back. Discord was infuriated by the "caregivers" cruelty. He wanted so badly to cause some chaos for the caregivers, but his fury soon simmered down when he heard the front door being broken down, and he soon saw police officers piling in the orphanage to find every adult. As soon as the last of the adults were caught and brought out, one officer came up to the adults, and said, "You're all under arrest for child abuse!" The "caregivers" were all shocked to hear about this.
"Why are we being ..." one of the staff members started before cut off.
"Save it! You all have the right to remain silent! Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law! Get these scumbags to the courthouse!" the same officer said to his fellow officers.
"YES SIR!" the others replied before taking the staff into custody. Discord was liking where this was going. Hmm, a court of law, eh? I better follow them just to give my evidence. he thought to himself before teleporting to the courthouse.
"Chief, should we ask some of the orphans to come with us as witnesses?" another officer asked the chief.
"Good idea, we need all the evidence we can get. Find some kids to bring with us and take them to the courthouse!" the chief instructed.
"Yes sir!" the officer said before going to ask some of the kids to come with them.
Later, at the courthouse,
After meeting the ponies, Shade led them down the street to the courthouse. "Alright, here we are, this is where you can call in a court case, so I'll leave you to do just that," he said before walking into the courthouse, before being stopped by Twilight
"Really, we can't ask anymore of you Shade," Twilight said with a kind tone.
"Suit yourself, but my family can be quite persuasive," he said in a tone that the ponies now couldn't resist.
"Ok, we would like you help," Celestia said with worry in her voice.
"Ok, then lets go and get the court ready for the trial," Shade said leading the ponies into the courthouse.
While they were doing that, the police truck carrying the orphanage staff pulled up in front of the courthouse. "Alright, let's get these dirt bags in," the driver said unbuckling his seatbelt. His partner nodded and they both got out of the truck, and saw the other cops pulling up.
"Good work Johnson and Leven, now lets get these dirt bag scum into the court." the chief said giving the ok for the officers to take the prisoners in.
Meanwhile inside the courtroom, Shade was getting everything ready for the trial. The judge was still surprised to see that his clients were talking multicolored horses, but after Celestia explained everything, the judge let it go. Just then, they heard the main doors opening and in came in the head of the orphanage staff. The others were in the other room waiting to be called in. When Melody saw who they were bringing in, she was trembling like a leaf in Pinkie's grasp.
"Shh, it's ok, I'll make sure that meanie doesn't hurt you." Pinkie whispered to her. When the head looked over at the prosecutor's side of the court, she gasped when she saw horses, but looked down at Melody and glared daggers into her soul. Melody shook even harder, forcing Pinkie to turn her away form the head.
"All rise for the honorable Judge Simon," the bailiff said, causing all the people in the room to rise up. The judge raised a hand which was the ok for everyone to sit.
"This court is now in order, please state the reason," the judge said to Shade.
"Certainly you honor, this case is for the state vs. Wilma Mc Riley, and the staff of the Mc Riley's home for children, reason being, child abuse, my clients state that the staff do horrible, unspeakable things to the children." this made Shade, the judge, the jury, and everyone else in the room gasp in horror.
"How does the defendant plead?" the judge asked the head of the orphanage.
"Not. Guilty." she said with venom in her words. This made the ponies all glare at her.
"Well, if the prosecutor would call the first witness to the stand?" the judge said looking at Shade.
"Certainly, I would like to call, Melody Smith to the stand," Shade said looking at the cute little girl, who carefully walked up to stand. "Please state you name to the court," Shade asked politely.
"Melody Smith," Melody replied gaining d'awws from everyone in the court.
"Would you like to tell us your age, and how long you stayed at the orphanage?" Shade asked in a soft tone.
"I'm four years old, and I've been living at the orphanage for two years after m-my m-mommy and d-daddy passed away." she replied with tears already stinging her eyes. This made everyone gasp and stated a rouse of clamor in the room. The judge banged his gavel.
"Order in the court! Proceed." he said to Shade.
"Now sweetie, I want you to tell us the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, ok?" he asked to which Melody nodded. "Good, now tell the court if the treatment you and your fellow orphans received from this woman and the rest of staff was nice?" he asked carefully.
"N-no! They always picked on us for being orphans, and they always would beat us for making a mess or crying, or not being able to sp-sp-speak by the age of three!" she said to Shade, who was very shocked to hear this, as well as the rest of the court. "P-plus they would beat us for having dreams, for wanting sweets, or even wanting friends!" she cried out, inciting gasps from everyone, the judge included. "A-and if they say we misbehaved, they would lock us up in the cold basement with hardly anything to keep us warm, and t-t-they would usually starve us for a week!" Melody cried. Now the court was in favor of the children's side of case.
"You did well, now go back to your friends," Shade told her, to which she got out of the chair, and scurried back to Pinkie. Then everyone in the courtroom was glaring disappointingly at the head of staff, who only sneered in disgust at Melody.
"Would the defendant like to call someone to the stand?" the judge asked the head.
"Yes your honor, I would like to call my second in command, John Fenmill, to the stand." the head replied still with anger in her voice. The judge nodded to guards by the door, who called for John. After making his way to the stand. he sat down and Shade came up to the stand.
"State your name to the court," he said to the man.
"John Fenmill," he said bluntly.
"Now tell us how long you've been working at the orphanage." Shade demanded.
"For 6 years," John deadpanned.
"Now, do swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?" Shade asked holding the book of law up to him.
"I do solemnly swear," John replied placing his hand on the book and raising his other one.
"Good, now I want you tell the court, truthfully, if you and the other staff members have been treating the children properly," Shade said with a quirked eyebrow.
"Well, of coarse we treat them fairly, but we do take strict disciplinary action if one of the sweet angels misbehaves." John said with a fake smile, but Applejack could tell he was lying.
"OBJECTION YOUR HONOR! Ah can tell he's lyin'," Applejack said with venom in her voice. This made the court gasp, and then turn their attention to John.
"You would seriously believe a talking horse? I doubt she even knows what objection means anyway being a blonde country girl," John said trying and failing to sound innocent. This racist remark infuriated the court, Applejack especially.
"THAT DOES IT! Bailiff, get this man out of my sight!" the judge said banging his gavel. And the bailiff did just that. After John was out of everyone's sight, Luna kindly tapped Shade's shoulder.
"Shade, if you can, can you call me to the stand? I have an idea," she asked kindly. Shade nodded.
"For the next witness, I would like to call Princess Luna to the stand!" Shade said looking at the blue alicorn who nodded and trotted up to the stand. "Please state your name to the court," he asked the moon sister.
"Princess Luna, the royal sister of the moon," she explained.
"And what is it that you do?" Shade asked with a quirked eyebrow.
"I raise the moon in my homeland of Equestria, and I can also hear the dreams and wishes of all who sleep, even those not of Equestria," she explained. This made everyone in the court very surprised. Then Shade had an idea on how Melody and Clover got to Equestria, and held the same book up to Luna.
"Now your highness, do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?" Shade asked the lunar princess.
"I do solemnly swear," she said placing one hoof in the book and raising the other one.
"Ok, now, did you hear any wishes the night before Melody and Clover came to Equestria?" Shade asked.
"Yes, and their wishes sounded so heart filled yet, when she spoke her wish, they said it in a scared and broken tone," Luna elaborated. This made everyone give Melody sad and sympathetic smiles, except for the head of staff who was glaring at the poor girl with hatred.
How dare that brat make a wish behind my back?! she thought to herself with anger.
"Now then, what was their wish?" Shade asked wanting to know more.
"Melody wished for a better life for her, and her friends, and better caregivers who can show the orphans love." Luna explained. This made everyone glare angrily at the head of staff. "And as for Clover, she wished for a family that would only show her kindness, love, and comfort, away from the king and queen of this 'Transylvania' country of which she spoke of," Luna said explaining Clovers wish.
"Oh, so she's a princess, but she doesn't want to be a princess anymore?" Shade asked, to which, Luna nodded. "Ok, now then, before I called you up to the stand, you said you had someway of exposing the evil of Melody's 'caregivers', am I right?" Shade asked. Luna nodded. "Ok, now then, would you be willing to show us?" he asked. Luna was about to answer when there was a flash behind Shade. When he turned, he was face to face with Discord.
"DISCORD?!" the ponies all gasped with surprise.
"Yes, it is I, the master of chaos, Discord the draconequss, and I am here to ease the burden of Luna, is it's ok with you, your honor?" he asked looking at the judge, who had a dumbfounded expression, but nodded. "Good, Luna, why don't you go and take a breather?" Discord suggested.
"Very well Discord," Luna nodded before switching places with Discord.
"Ok, now then, state your name to the court," Shade asked Discord.
"As I said, I am Discord, the draconequss master of chaos," he explained.
"Now Discord," Shade said holding up the book, "Do you solemnly swear to tell us only the truth?" he asked.
"I do solemnly swear," Discord said placing his eagle talon on the book and raising his bear claw.
"Good, now tell us what proof you have of the evil of the orphanage," Shade politely asked.
"I think it would be easier to show you, rather than tell, and you honor? You may want to stand next to us for this," Discord said looking at the judge.
"Very well," he said walking down next to Shade and Discord.
"Great, now I must warn you, this will be rather heartbreaking to show," Discord said before pulling his goatee and projecting a movie from his eyes. And what he showed shocked everyone. The adults were all brutally abusing the poor orphans, whipping them, yelling at them, keeping them from food, and tripping them just for an excuse to yell at them. The court was horrified to see such cruelty.
"I've seen enough!" the judge said before going back to his podium. "Has the jury reached the verdict?" he asked looking at the jury and seeing a man with a black t-shirt that says "JERK" on it standing up.
"We have. We the jury find Wilma Mc Riley, and the rest of the staff of the orphanage unanimously guilty of all charges." he said glaring at the ex-head of staff with the other jury members.
"Then by the power infested in me, and the state of law, I sentence the former staff of the Mc Riley home for children to prison for the rest of their lives!" the judge said before banging his gavel.
"WHAT?! YOU CAN'T DO THIS!" Wilma yelled before being tazed and dragged off with the other staff members. "IF I CAN'T TAKE CARE OF ANY OF THE BRATS, THEN I'LL JUST TAKE THEM BY FORCE!" Wilma screamed before throwing a chain around Melody, who was scared to death of what will happen. The judge was about to order her to be restrained, before the court heard the swishing of a sword. They looked up, and saw that Shade had sliced through the chains. This certainly surprised everyone. The judge banged his gavel and told the guards to have Wilma taken away.
"This case is now adjourned, you may go back to your lives," the judge said looking at the ponies.
"Thank you sir," Celestia said before walking out with her sister, student, and friends, with Shade. "That was very noble of you Discord, to come and show us the horrible evil of that place." she said looking at a blushing draconequss.
"Aww, it was nothing, and you're right, Melody and Clover are sweetest little cutie as they come," he said looking down at the small girl.
"Well, that's all well and good, but what will happen to the orphanage?" Twilight asked with worry for the children.
"I'll buy it," Shade said with everypony looking surprised at him, "My family is the richest family in the country, we make 500 million dollars a day, and with my ridiculously high allowance, I can buy out an entire city block," he explained. This made the ponies all look like they were poisoned, Discord included. "I'll have the rickety old building torn down and replaced with a more stable and better looking building, and I can hire all the hands I need to help out, and make sure everyone there is happy, well dressed and well fed." he explained gaining d'awws from the ponies. The orphans that were brought as witnesses heard his plan, and tackle hugged him.
"Thank you!" Pedro said with a happy smile.
"But where will we stay while the new orphanage is being built?" Molly asked looking concerned.
"Not to worry, my family estate has plenty of guest houses, so that answers that, and don't worry about food, I will pick some up when I come to town." Shade reassured her. Molly nodded before turning towards Melody.
"Wow Melody, that dress is so pretty!" Molly complimented Melody.
"Aww, thank you! Rarity made it for me!" Melody said before looking at the white unicorn, who gave her a blushing wink.
"Uh, Melody? There's something I want to ask you and Clover," Pinkie said before trotting up to her.
"Is something wrong Pinkie?" Melody asked concerned.
"What ever it is, I can help anyway I can!" Clover cried, not wanting Pinkie to be upset.
"No, just opposite, I was wondering, if it's ok with you two, if you would allow me to, adopt the both of you, maybe?" Pinkie asked with tears stinging her eyes. This made Shade, Molly, and Pedro gasp, looking at Melody and Clover who had tears in their eyes.
"R-really? You want to be our mommy?" she asked with her voice breaking out of sheer happiness. It was only a nod from Pinkie that made Melody and Clover tackle her with a hug. "Oh, thank you Pin- er, I mean Mommy!" she said crying softly with happiness. "I love you mommy!" Melody said, which made everyone's eyes water at the beautiful scene before them.
"I love you mommy!" Clover said, crying with happiness.
"Mommy loves you so much too, my sweet little wittle angel cakes!" Pinkie said.
"I'm so happy for you Melody, but how will we still hang out if your in another dimension?" Pedro asked a little bit sad that Melody was going away.
"Inter dimensional Skype," Shade explained which made everyone look at him curiously. "If Discord can enchant some computers to receive telecommunications from different dimensions, you might be able to keep in touch with Melody, even though she's in a different world." he explained making everyone nod in understanding.
"Ok, so how do we get these computer things?" Rainbow dash asked.
"Remember, you're all talking to a rich kid," he deadpanned, making Rainbow blush out of embarrassment. "I'll head to the electronics store and pick up some computers for everyone, as soon as I go get my Hummer," he said before walking to his estate.
"I think this calls for a party!" Pinkie said pulling her party cannon out of nowhere.
"There will be a time for parties once Shade gets back with those 'computers' that he said he was going to go and get, so if you can just hold back until then, Pinkie?" Celestia asked her party pony subject, who just nodded in understanding.
"How did you pull that canon out of nowhere?" Pedro asked Pinkie quirking an eyebrow.
"Kid, it's just Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie, just leave it at that, your head will hurt a lot less," Rainbow Dash explained. Pedro nodded in understanding. Just then they saw a crimson red hummer pull up in front of the courthouse.
"All aboard that's going aboard!" Shade called to the group, who walked to where Shade was, and got in to his car. As soon as the last of the group got in, he then turned on the engine and started to drive towards the electronics store.
A few hours later,
After getting the computers back to the guest rooms at the Goodrivers estate, Discord left to go and get the other orphans. While he did that, Shade got his technicians to install the computers into the rooms, and installed the Skype program on to the computers.
"Good, now we just have to wait for Discord to come back with the orphans, and after I show them all to their rooms, then we can have that party Pinkie talked about in the car." Shade said looking at the pink pony with a soft smile.
"YIPPE! Now I got to go and get some snacks for the party!" Pinkie said before bouncing happily away.
"How does..." Shade started before being silenced by Rainbow Dash.
"Dude, it's Pinkie, just leave it at that," she said with a deadpan tone.
"Well, I must be off, I might as well bring the Cakes to the party, so they can celebrate it with Pinkie," Celestia said before lighting up her horn.
"WAIT!" they all jumped when they saw Pinkie standing at the end of the hall, "Can you also invite my family too? My parents and my three sisters?" she asked with puppy eyes.
"Very well," Celestia said before teleporting back to Equestria. As soon as she was gone, Discord teleported in with the orphans.
"Whelp, here we are! You new home until renovations are done to the orphanage!" Discord said smiling at the children who were giggling at the funny looking creature.
"I have all the decorations set up downstairs, so we're ready for the party!" Pinkie said happily bouncing away. Shade, curious if Pinkie was really done, went downstairs, and his jaw dropped when he saw that the main foyer was decorated from top to bottom in various decorations. He was about to ask how she did it so fast, but he remembered not to question Pinkie. He then saw a flash of light and he turned to see Celestia had returned with ponies he assumed were the Cakes, and Pinkie's parents and sisters.
"Hey everypony!" they turned to see Pinkie bouncing happily towards them.
"Why hello Pinkie dearie, if I may ask, what is this all about?" Mrs.Cake asked with a quirked eyebrow. With the others nodding in agreement.
"It's to celebrate my adoption of Melody and Clover!" she happily replied. This drew gasps from her parents and sisters. Then one of her sisters came up.
"Pinkie, if you don't mind my asking, but whose Melody and Clover?" she asked in a sort of an unenthused tone.
"HERE WE ARE!" came two happy calls, and when they turned, their hearts melted at what they saw. At the top of the stairs, was Melody in a dress that looks like a cake. The bottom half looked like a chocolate cake, the torso looked like whipped cream with sprinkles, and the shoulders were cherry red. And as for Clovers dress, it was done up in a bright and sunny yellow color, with the same green clover pattern on it.
"Aww, you're the cutest little things ever!" Pinkie's mother commented with her husband and daughters all nodding in agreement with warm smiles of their faces.
"Did Rarity make those dresses sweeties?" Pinkie asked looking at the little sweethearts..
"That's right Mommy!" Clover said in a tone so incredibly cute, that even the toughest of the tough would melt at the mere sight and sound of her. Just then all the ponies and orphans all piled into the main foyer.
"Now we just need Spike, and then we can get this party started!" Pinkie said happily with anticipation.
"I shall go and get him, and the adoption papers." Celestia said before teleporting away.
"Melody, Clover sweethearts, these are my parents, Clyde Pie and Limestone Pie, and these two are my little sisters, Inky and Blinky, and or big sister, Maud." she said introducing her family.
"Hello everyone, it's nice to meet you all!" she said in such a tone, that made their tears already well up, even Maud.
"And I'm Clover!" Clover said with an equally cute tone.
"Well. it's nice to meet you to sweeties, and I'm happy that you're going to be my granddaughters." Clyde said with a smile.
"Aww, you two just to cute for words! And I would love for you to call me grandma," Limestone said with a tender smile.
"If they're going to be our grandma and grandpa, does that make you three our aunties?" Melody said with the cutest gaze in the history of cute gazes.
"I guess that would make sense." Maud said with a soft smile, with Inky and Blinky both nodding happily in agreement. Just then, Celestia teleported in a flash of light, with Spike on her back, carrying the adoption forms.
"Ok, children, quiet!" Celestia called to the chattering orphans with a motherly tone. "We are all here to celebrate the Pinkie's adoption of Melody Smith, and the ex-princess, Clover Harver. Now Pinkie, when your ready, just sign the legal document." She said to the pink pony showing the documents.
"I am ready," Pinkie said as she grasped the quill and signed the on the dotted lines. After signing the adoption forms, Pinkie gingerly cradled Melody and Clover like babies, "Thank you Princess Celestia! I promise to give Melody and Clover the everlasting love and comfort every child deserves." she said tearfully giving Melody and Clover a kiss on their foreheads.
Melody was also happy to the point she had tears. "Thank you Princess Celestia! I now have a new mommy and sister that I know will be so much fun!" she said happily snuggling up to Pinkie. This action melted the hearts of everyone there.
"Thank you Princess Celestia, I can now be happy with my new mommy and new sister!" Clover said giving Pinkie the cutest smile ever,
"Well? Is this a party or not?" Shade asked putting on some sunglasses.
