While Blue Moon and Applebloom were at the farm with Big Mac and Granny Smith,Applejack was headed to town. It still unnerved her a bit to see Twilight's new castle,wait,all of their new castle(after all everyone in their group of friends had their own throne in it after all...),rise up on the horizon instead of the old library. Then again,Twi had filled it with so many books it was fast becoming a library in it's own right. Knocking on the door with her hoof,Applejack waited as a series of thumps issued from within,until Spike opened the door with a mouthfull of gems. "Ymph,how cn I *ulp* help you-oh,hey Applejack!Watcha here for?"
Smiling at the drake's apparent lack of manners,she replied,"Actually,I gotta see Twilight about somethin'. Something real strange happened today,and I'm thinking that Twi might know what to do about it..."
"HEY TWILIGHT,AJ NEEDS HELP!!!"
*POP!*
In a violet flash of magical light,Twilight appeared. "What's the matter,Applejack?" the purple Alicorn asked,concerned.
"Well,ah,it might be easier to show you than to explain it in words..." the orange mare replied,somewhat nervously.
"Well,lets go then!" Twilight said,just as the two mares and drake began to glow with a violet light.
"WAIT NO TWILIGHT WE CAN-" Applejack began to exclaim,but they were already teleporting to the farm.Or,at least,close to the farm.More like slightly above it.As Applejack finished her exclamation,"-WALK!!",Twilight levitated the three of them gently to the ground.
"So i may have overshot it just a little..." the purple mare chuckled nervously. In return she recieved a glare and a cocked eyebrow.With a sigh,Applejack said,"Well,if he hasn't run off somewhere with Applebloom yet,I can show you what I mean."
Wait a minute..Spike asked,"You mean the strange thing that happened was a who and not a what?" Reminicent of a certain red stallion,AJ replied,"Eeyup."
Applebloom ran out of the farm-house at full trot,Blue Moon close behind. "Hey sis,your back!And you brought Spike and Twilight too!Guess what I-uh,I mean big sis found!Him!Well,sis may have found him,but I named him-"
Appleblume was interupted when Bluemoon interjected,"Helped,helped find a name! You came up with the first part,but Big Mac figured out the rest!"
Meanwhile,Spike and Twilight were looking on in wonder. "Hey Twi?' asked Spike.
"Uh-huh?"
"Aren't you and cadence and the Princesses the only Alicorns?"
"Last time I checked?Yes,yes we are-er-were..."
Meanwhile,Blue Moon had a puzzled expression on his face. Suddenly the young colt exclaimed,"Hey!I'm not corn!I'm not even yellow,I'm blue!"
Spike simply face-palmed,while Twilight sighed heavily and said to the foal,"No,not corn,an Alicorn.They have the body and connection to nature of an Earth Pony,the wings and cloud magic of a Pegasus,and the horn and magic of a Unicorn."
"Um,what are them things you were talking about?" asked Blue moon.Applejack,Applebloom,Spike,and Twilight all turned to face the young colt. Tentatively,Applebloom asked,"You-you mean you don't know?"
Puzzled,Applejack tapped her chin with her hoof,and stated,"Huh,maybe you hit your head a bit hard when you landed out in the field.."
Twilight's eyes nearly bugged out of her head."What do you mean,'landed out in the field'? You couldn't have mentioned that any sooner?!"
Shifting from hoof to hoof,AJ replied,"Well,I was gonna,but I didn't really get a chance what with teleportin' and your explaination and what not..but I suppose a check-up couldn't hurt. Besides,Applebloom is due for hers soon anyways."
