"I'm going to miss you two so much. Now, you two be careful hear me?," said Mrs.Mclane as she hugged her two daughters.
Belle and Rarity answered "Yes mom."
Today was the big day. It is the day when the Mclane sisters finally head out on their journey in Sinnoh. Mr. and Mrs.Mclane were so very proud of them, and were crying as their two daughters boarded the plane. The two went to their assigned seats in the back of the plane, and Rarity put their bags in the storage above them. She then sat next to her sister.
"I'm just so excited. Aren't you Ava?" Sweetie said.
"Eevee!," Ava said in happiness.
"Attention passengers take off will commence in 5 minutes please take your seats.," said the pilot on the intercom.
Rarity put her glasses on and started to read a fashion magazine.
"Whatcha reading?" Belle asked.
"Oh nothing. Just an article about Hoity Totiy! The biggest fashion icon in the world! Did you know he has designed for Wallace the contest master and Lance the champion of the Indigo Elite Four. Huh. He is just so amazing!"
Rarity started hugging her magazine, and both Ava and Belle gave her a weird look.
"Wait a sec. Isn't he that guy who is the special judge at Pokeville's annual town festival contest every year?"
"Yes of course. He along with Nurse Joy and the mayor are the judges. How could you forget? The festival was just last month. Sometimes you amaze me on just how many important things you forget."
"Sorry sis that I am not a obsessed contest fan girl, but anyway I wanted to ask you something."
"Yes what is it?"
"Why haven't you asked Hoity to come to shop after the contest every year? I mean he always compliments the dress you wear so....why don't you?"
"Well....I...ugh..never thought about it. I always figured he was too busy and had to back to Canterlot once the contest is over. I'll make a note to remind myself to ask him on my phone."
She makes the note in her phone. The plane started to move.
"Here we go. 3, 2,1, takeoff!," shouted Sweetie Belle.
Every person on the plane then turned to look at the young girl and her eevee.
Belle then said "Sorry."
Does she always have to embarrass me?, thought Rarity.
After 2 long hours our heroes landed in Jubilife City the largest city in the Sinnoh region. The two got their things, and decided to head to the pokemon center to sign up for the Jubilife contest. They walked in, and walked up to Nurse Joy.
"Why hello how can I help you?," the nurse asked.
"I'd like to sign up to compete in Sinnoh pokemon contests please."
"Wonderful. So just hand me your trainer ID and your pokedex and we can get you registered."
Rarity handed the things over to her, and Joy scanned them. She handed them back.
"Here are ribbon cases which color would you like Rarity?"
"I'll pick white."
"Good choice. Here are your seal and ball capsules. Oh and now all you need to do is register using your ID at any contest hall to sign up to compete."
"Thank you so much Nurse Joy."
"You are very welcome. Have a nice day."
The two sisters walked away.
"So Rarity where are we going to sleep tonight?"
"Don't worry. The pokemon center has rooms. I already made arrangements last night for our room"
"Our room!?"
"Yes we indeed have to share, and that is how it is going to be so you better get used to it. Now, let's go call Twilight and the professors to tell that we got here safely."
The two started walk over to the video phone area when they saw three people just finishing a call. Sweetie Belle then noticed a pikachu on one of the 2 guys shoulders. She quickly ran up to it.
"Wow! A pikachu! It's so cute!," said Belle.
The three quickly turned to face Belle. The one girl then noticed Ava in Belle's arms.
"Wow. An eevee." said the girl.
She took out her pokedex, and quickly scanned eevee.
"Eevee, the evolution pokemon. Because its genetic makeup is irregular, it quickly changes its form due to a variety of causes." the dex said.
Rarity finally got to them.
"Sweetie you know not to run off without me." Rarity said.
"I know but when I saw this pikachu out of the corner of my eye I just had to see it up close."
"Oh alright. I hope my sister didn't cause you any trouble."
"She didn't so don't worry. My names Dawn." said Dawn.
"I'm Ash and this is my best buddy pikachu."
"Pikachu!," his partner said.
"And I'm Brock a pokemon breeder."
Rarity then said,"I am Rarity, and you have already met Belle and her partner Ava. We come from the Equestria region."
"Equestria region? I have never heard of it before." said a confused Ash.
"It's north of the Sinnoh region, and has no unique pokemon that only inhabit there. Instead a variety of pokemon from all of the other regions call it home."
"Awesome! Does it have gyms!?"
"Of course it does darling. The champion of the region is Shining Armour."
"Wait! I have heard that name before!," said Dawn.
She reached into her bag and pulled out a magazine. She showed the cover and pointed to a guy on it.
"Is that him?" asked Brock.
"Yup." replied Sweetie.
"Look at that pokemon near him. It's one I have never seen before. Could you mind telling me what it is?" said Ash.
"It's an Aegislash. Let me show you on my pokedex."
She pulled it out, and typed the pokemon's name.
The dex then said about the pokemon, "Aegislash the Royal Sword pokemon and final evolved form of honedge. Apparently, it can detect innate qualities of leadership. According to legend, whoever it recognizes is destined to become king."
"It's from the Kalos region which is west of Equestria." Belle said.
Ash then asked, "Hey look there is a girl on the cover too with a Lopunny with pink fur. Who is she?"
"Cadence." Rarity and Dawn said at the same time.
"Cadence is a top coordinator and has won 3 grand festivals. Her partner Lopunny is just so beautiful and graceful." said Dawn.
Rarity added,"She also happens to be Shining Armour's wife as well."
"Wow. A powerful couple. Both masters of their respective fields. Just wow." said Brock.
"So Rarity are you a pokemon coordinator?" asked Dawn.
"Yes. How could you tell?"
"I just guessed. I'm a coordinator as well."
"Splendid. Are you competing in the contest here?"
"You bet. It's my first time too."
"Really...well what a coincidence it's my first time too. Well sort of."
"What do you mean?"
"In my hometown every year at the town's festival we have a pokemon contest. It's not official or anything but it has the same rules as Sinnoh contests. My mother is even the announcer."
"That sounds awesome. Wish Twinleaf Town had an annual contest during the festival."
"Anyways, I always win the contest mainly because I am the only one who really knows what they are doing. So I decided to come here to accomplish my dream of becoming a top coordinator."
"Well then that makes you two rivals then." said Ash.
"I guess it does. We will see you at the contest then tomorrow." said Dawn.
"Definitely. See you there rival." Rarity replied.
Ash, Dawn, and Brock walked out of the pokemon center.
Belle said, "They seemed nice didn't they Ava?"
Ava nodded.
"Now, let's get to that video call." Rarity said.
The girls called the professors and told them all about their meeting with Dawn and the others. The professors told them that everything was going well back at home. Sweetie was excited to hear that soon Scootlaoo will get her first pokemon. After the call they then saw two familiar faces at the desk with Nurse Joy.
"Is that who I think it is Rarity?" asked Belle.
Ratiy gulps and then says, "Uh ha."
