"Vinyl! Its already 9:00, we should be heading to bed right now!" Octavia complained "What if I don't get enough sleep, and I miss a concert! Or, or you, yes YOU miss a concer- gig! gig, yes gig. YOUR reputation will be ruined!" Vinyl rolled her eyes and replied
"Tavi you really need to loosen up! Hurry up and get dressed I got a night of fun planned for us tonight, alright?" Vinyl said. Octavia hesitantly walked up stairs and got dressed into an outfit vinyl had bought for her. The dress was white with lavender treble clefs on it, tight around the chest area and loose and short near the flanks. It came to the neck area and there was a lavender tie attached to it. Octavia slipped into the dress and looked at herself in her mirror. She walked downstairs, thinkng she had gotten dressed in a speedy manner
"Octavia! You where taking For EVER! I fell like I'm 50!" Vinyl said jokingly "How do you like your dress? I bet your, like, ALL over it!"
"Well, I appreciate the effort... and the design is quite fitting... its just..." Octavia started reluctantly
"Go on, say it Tavi! I cant know if ya like or hate something till' you say so!" Vinyl said.
"Its just... more revealing than I'd like." Octavia said
. "Come on Tavi! Where we are going, you'll be one of the most covered up mares..." Vinyl trailed off.
"WAIT! are we going to a... STRIP CLUB?!" Octavia nearly shouted.
Vinyl chuckled, and replied "No! We gonna HIT DA CLUB! Hot beats and couples delight! MARE-DOM!"
"Wait... "Hit Da Club" No thanks I have sleep to get." Octavia said as she turned around
"Tavi! Wait! I sat through one of your uptight "formal concerts." the least you can do is come and "Hit Da Club" with me." Vinyl shouted partially annoyed.
"Fine..." Octavia grumbled turning back around and speeding over to Vinyl. "Ah! we're here! MARE-DOM the club!"
"wait... the club is called MARE-DOM? I dunno Vinyl... this looks like a place where assaulter stallions hang out..."
"Don't be silly! I've been coming here for 6 years and only about five times I was..."
"WAIT...What?!" Octavia said in paranoia.
"Nothing!" Nothing Vinyl said, The two mares opened the doors, the music was so loud that vinyl had to yell "YOU FIRST TAVI!" Octavia walked in and, much to her surprise vinyl was right... almost all the mares in here where in slutty dresses, or their tails where tied up really high to reveal themselves. Octavia began to feel uncomfortable,
"Vinyl... I think we should leave... please!" She said uncomfortably
"Relax Tavi! Here have a drink this one's on me! Whatchya got?" Vinyl said talking to both the bartender and Octavia. The bartender turned around to reveal himself as Caramel.
"Caramel you work here?" Octavia asked
"And you go here?" Caramel teased back. "Now, Vinyl... For you I'd say you should try something a little more heavy than the usual... lets say the midnight mare." Caramel said now talking to Vinyl.
"Oh, sounds cool! Whats in it?" Vinyl inquired. "Oh its the Deep Vodka, with Some Black coffee, and whipped cream with chocolate syrup. And hmm... for your mare friend here hows about a... Rainbow rocker?" He said
"Sounds good, for me that is, and you Tavi?" Vinyl said.
"hmm... Its been a while since I had any alcohol... whats in it?" Said Octavia
"Well, Zap apple juice, a shot of light vodka, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Sound good?" Caramel responded
"Sounds lovely" Octavia replied.
"Hey... HEY!" Vinyl whispered to caramel " Do me a favor and put in three shots of light vodka and one of dark... I wanna make sure there is an extra "fun booster" got it?"
"Okay" Caramel whispered back. He turned around to prepare the drinks, while Vinyl spotted a familiar face
"YO! LYRA! BERRY PUNCH!" Vinyl yelled "COME HERE!" Lyra and Berry punch soon made their way over to the two mares.
"Whoa! You convinced Tavi to join you?! That's like... a new accomplishment that can never be beaten!" Lyra exclaimed
"You... should real try the...." Berry punch said as she collapsed onto the counter "midnight... mere... mark... no mid mare night? yeah... try that..." Berry punch was really drunk, and Lyra and Vinyl could not help but laugh at her talking.
"One Midnight Mare and one Rainbow rocker for two special mares" Caramel announced as he handed Octavia and Vinyl their drinks.
"You.... Yous be... taking.... err... trying ma... dink.... drink, yes... drink..." Berry punch told Vinyl, and holding back laughter Vinyl said "Yes, I be trying yous drink" rather sarcastically.
Berry punch broke into to hearty space laughter "Ha...ha...ha...ha" She then passed out.
"Well, Nice chatting with you two, I better carry berry punch home. Come here next week Tavi!" Lyra said as she walked away "Cheers!" Vinyl said as she lifted up her glass, and Octavia lightly clicked her glass together. Octavia used her spoon to have a bite of the ice cream, and soon had drunk the rest of her Rainbow rocker. Octavia just a little loopy from the "Fun booster" in her drink
"Mm! that was delicious! Vinyl!" Octavia said "Hey! Hey Vinyl! Can I have another!"
"Sure but We gotta go dance after that, okay?" Vinyl said.
"Okay, but can you ask Caramel to make it quickly?" Octavia said.
"Yo! Caramel can you get another Rainbow rocker for the mare? Quickly, please." Vinyl asked Caramel
"Sure thing" he responded. Octavia laid down into Vinyl's lap
"You know I've I always had a dream to have an o-" She said, and was then interupted by caramel saying "One rainbow rocker!"
"Mm! I should make this one last..." Octavia said as she took a sip. "So, what where you saying Tavi?" Vinyl asked. "Oh I was just saying that *sip* I would like *sip* to have a *sip* or *sip* Mm! Ice cream! like I was saying that I want to have an *sip*" Octavia said all loopy like. The music changed to a dub step remix of a song Octavia would preform
"Oh my god! I. LOVE. THIS. SONG. love it! LETS DANCE." Octavia said rather seriously while looking Vinyl in the eyes.
"Okay..." Vinyl said as she backed up, she then started to chuckle not only did Octavia get drunk fast, but she totally LOST IT! Vinyl followed Octavia to the dance floor and for the first time in seven years saw Octavia dance. Octavia was a good dancer, and they danced for a good hour until the two where tired out.
Again, Octavia laid down in Vinyl's lap and Vinyl asked "So you where saying about... what like an hour ago?"
"Oh! yeah.. I was... Um... saying I want to... have an or-" Octavia said before she passed out Vinyl carried Octavia home on her back and laid her down in bed.
"well..." Vinyl whispered to herself as she took out her notebook and pencil "Note to self: Buy Octavia drinks with NO ALCOHOL." She wrote it down and went to sleep.
"goodnight" she said all she got in reply where snores.
