Doctor Whooves

Rosey Posey

“I’m done reading!” The Doctor shouted. Twilight walked down the stairs.

“Really?” Twilight asked. “It’s only been half an hour. You said it would take you two to three hours.”

“Well, I guess I was wrong.” the Doctor said. “It’s a nice world you have here. Very peaceful, if I do say so myself.”

“So, did you find what you were looking for?” Twilight asked.

“No.” The Doctor replied. “I still need to find Rose, and the TARDIS. Although I think I have an idea where Rose might be.”

“Really? Where?” Twilight asked.

The Doctor grabbed a map of Equestria and then began to explain, “Well, judging by where I landed, and knowing the landscape of your world, I’ve calculated that by taking the coordinates of where I landed, adding longitude by five, and latitude by six, multiplying both by nine, and that’s where Rose will be!”

“Well, that’s a few miles from where you landed.” Twilight said. “I’m sure she’ll be there.”

“I’m not.” The Doctor admitted.

“How so?” Twilight asked.

“If Rose woke up at the same time I did,” The Doctor explained. “She might have wondered off, leaving from her original location. She could be halfway to Appaloosa by now.”

Twilight though for moment. “I know! I can use a seek spell. If a use it on a map it will pinpoint here location.”

“So it will work just like a GPS.” The Doctor said.

“What’s a GPS?” Twilight asked confused.

“Oh, never mind.” The Doctor said. “Go ahead and use your seek spell.”

Twilight’s horn glow purple and then tapped the map. A flashing purple dot appeared a few miles south of Appaloosa. “There she is!” The Doctor shouted with glee.

“Follow me, we can use my balloon.” Twilight said.

They were a few miles south of Appaloosa. The balloon wasn’t that cramped so The Doctor and Twilight had a lot of walking space. The Doctor kept a close eye to the ground, looking for Rose. Twilight kept a close eye on the map to see if they were getting close.

The Doctor saw a pony walking along the rail road. He looked through the telescope attached to the side of the basket. He saw a female pony with a white coat, and a pink and red mane. At first the Doctor wasn’t sure if it was Rose until he saw her cutie mark. It was a red rose.

“Rose,” The Doctor mumbled to himself. He looked at Twilight. “Twilight, take us down, I see Rose.” Twilight released some of the hot air from the balloon and lowered the rope ladder.

“Rose!” The Doctor shouted climbing down the rope ladder. Rose turned around to look at The Doctor. “Rose!” The Doctor shouted again, all the way down the rope ladder.

Rose’s eyes widened. “Doctor!” She shouted, and ran to The Doctor and hugged him. “What’s going on? Why are we ponies? How did we…”

“Rose.” The Doctor said. “I’ll tell you on the way back to Ponyville, but right now we have to get in the balloon.” Rose nodded and climbed the rope ladder.

When she saw Twilight she asked, “Who are you?”

“I’m Twilight Sparkle.” Twilight said. “I run the library in Ponyville.”

“So where are we and what’s going on?” Rose asked the Doctor.

“Well, um...” The Doctor didn’t know what to say. “It’s might be easier to tell you telepathically.”

“All right, go ahead.” Rose said. The Doctor placed his hooves on Rose’s face. Rose began to see information flow through her head, like a movie in fast forward.

When the Doctor removed his hooves from Rose’s face and asked, “Make sense now?”

“Yeah.” Rose replied. “Although you don’t know how we ended up here, do you?”

“No, not yet” The Doctor replied. “But, I have a feeling we didn’t come here alone.”
