It was a beautiful day in the park--children playing many childish games like "Hide and seek" or playing "Tag". Twilight and Pip decided to hang out in the park for a little while so they can relax, and enjoy the nice, spring breeze. The duo saw a bench and decided to sat on it for their relaxation.
"Thanks for spending the day with me, your majesty. It's a pleasure hanging out with someone like you. And no, not because you're famous, but You are such a nice mare." said Pip
"Aww, that's so sweet." said a very touched Twilight. "Thank you."
"I was thinking...Do you really meant what you said about me being a very nice colt." asked Pip
Twilight looked at him and said "Of course I did. Why would you think I didn't"
Pip thought about it and said "Nothing." softly
"Are you sure?" asked Twilight softly.
"I promise you." Pip replied
"Alright. Just making sure." said Twilight. They just looked around the place, and just saw how beautiful the park was around them. the trees, the beautiful flowers int the emerald green grass, and the other ponies enjoying it.
Twilight suddenly had an Idea, that would make Pip see that she forgives him for the "Twilight Time" incident. "Hey Pip?"
"Yes, your majesty?" asked Pip
"Oh Pip, you don't have to be formal with me. It's okay if you call me just Twilight." she said in a tender voice.
"Really?" Asked Pip
"Of course." Twilight replied. "Anyway, I was thinking. How about we play a game, hm?"
"What kind of game?" The colt asked
"Hide and seek." said Twilight.
Pip's eyes grew big, because of how much he loved that game very much. "I would love to play hide and seek with you!" exclaimed Pip with excitement
Twilight giggled at his reaction. "I knew you would like it. You know, the girls told me that you love playing that game and sometimes play it with them." said Twilight
"Well, the crusaders told you right." Pip replied. "Who counts, and who hides?" he asked
"That's up to you, since you really love that game." said Twilight softly.
Pip had time to think and finally after one moment, he said "How about I hide and you count?"
"Okay." said Twilight. "I'll count to thirty."
"Okay." Pip said. "I really hope there's someplace to hide." said Pip in his head
"1, 2, 3" Twilight counted
Pip looked around for a quick hiding place and saw a tree with leaves that would be perfect for hiding. He climbed up to the tree very quietly without Twilight hearing him.
"Ready or not, here I come!" Twilight called. She looked under the bench first and then in a few bushes. "Oh Pip? Where are you?" she called in a sing-song tone.
What Pip didn't know was that Twilight just passed the tree he was hiding in. Pip then gave out a soft sneeze, that Twilight heard. She turned back, and got a devilish grin on her face. "Oh well. Looks like Pip is not around here!" she called out and then walked away from the tree. She then used the Magic from her horn to very silently poof herself onto the tree branch behind Pip.
The young colt just gave out a silent snicker, and decided to turn back and was looking into Twilight's face
"Peek-a-boo. I found you you." she said.
this made the young colt jump out in surprise. The reaction made Twilight giggled
"Sorry, Pip." she said
"That's okay. You found me." said Pip. And they both laughed.
After a good laugh, Twilight said "Alright. Climb on, I'll get you down." She used her magic again and got both her and the young colt down from the tree. Pip afterwards, got himself down from Twilight's.
"Did you have fun?" asked Twilight
"Yep!" Pip replied
"I'm glad to hear that." said Twilight warmly.
"Pip!" called a familiar voice.
It was Pip's parents, Cassandra and Braveheart
"Where have you been?" asked the father
"Yes. We were so worried sick about you." said Pip's mother
"Sorry." said Pip. "mum, dad, I was just depressed because of Twilight time and I just wanted some time alone to think things over. But then Luna came and told me that it was not my fault, so I apologized to twilight, and she felt bad and she wanted to spend some time with me to make me feel better, but i was having so much fun with her that i forgot all about it."
"Oh." said Braveheart and Cassandra, realizing what was happening hear.
"Aren't you two at least having fun at least?" asked Braveheart
"Of course." Said Twilight
"Oh. Then I guess then that's alright with us." said Casandra
"Yeah." Braveheart replied. "But Pip, next time, when you do something like this, please tell us where your going, and so we won't worry about that. Okay, champ?"
"I know." said Pip. "Sorry
"That's alright." said the parents in unison.
"We'll see you at home." said Braveheart.
"alright. See you at home." Pip said
"Bye." said the parents before heading back home.
The colt turned his attention back to Twilight, and said "What would you like to do now?"
"What do you want to do?" Twilight asked
"Well...I don't know what to do now." said Pip a little dumbfounded
Twilight then had a thought and said "I've got an idea."
"What's that?" asked Pip
"Is there a movie you would like to watch?" asked Twilight
"Well.....I think there's one movie: Attack of the killer parasprites."
Twilight looked at him with surprise and said "Are you sure?"
"Yes. I've seen a few horror movies before and they weren't too much for me." Pip said
"Alright. If you say so" Twilight replied
Ponyville movie theatre
Pip and Twilight were at the back of the seating isle and Twilight bought everything, the Popcorn, the soda, and the tickets. There were a few screams through the movie and some people covering their eyes from the horror they just watched. Pip and Twilight however, weren't terrified one little bit and found it amazing with the graphics and the storyline
After the movie ended it was already 1:00pm.
"It wasn't scary, but It was good." said Pip, walking out of the theatre with Twilight.
"I concur." Twilight replied.
Pip suddenly thought of something he forgot to ask Twilight. "Hey, Twilight?"
"Yes?"
"I forgot to ask you If I could borrow a book from you." said Pip
Twilight's face grew into a wide grin showing here teeth. "Why of course you can borrow a book from me. Which do you want?"
"Do you have...The Whinnying?" asked Pip
"What, but that's a horror book? Why would you want to read that?"
"Because I've seen the movie and I want to see a difference between the book and the movie."
"I...don't think that's a good Idea." said Twilight
"Pleeeaaase???" Pip said with a puppy dog face.
"Oh, alright. But I hope it doesn't give you nightmares." said Twilight a little worried
"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine." Pip replied. "but...maybe later. But first I want to spend more time with you. If...that is alright with you?" he asked with a nervous look
Twilight gave him a warm smile and said "Of course it's alright with me. Where would you like to go next?"
"I was thinking the arcade if that's alright with you." said Pip
"That's fine, Pip. I'm just spending time with you to make you happy, and If your happy, then I'm happy." Twilight replied
"Thanks." said Pip. "Shall we go to the arcade then?"
"Yep." said Twilight. "Let's go."
The duo then headed to the arcade to continue their special day together.
Ponyville Arcade
The arcade was full with children spending their summer vacation playing many random video games available. Pip looked around to see if there was any game still available and saw Pony Ops: Zombies was still available. However, many kids saw Twilight and froze at first, but became excited. They all walked to her, asking for her autograph.
Twilight was a little annoyed, because she remembered when she was at the Hay Burger, but she decided to sign autographs for many children available. "Just a few more." she said "But I really must get back to my little friend." After she was finished she met Pip at the Pony Ops system.
"Hey, Pip." said a voice
"Oh, hi mister mash." said Pip
It was a dark brown skinned unicorn with a goatee and was a little muscular. It was Milo Mash, the father of Button Mash. He had a black mane, and his goatee was black, and his cutie mark was a random arcade video game machine. "How's my favorite gamer today?" he said in a kind of a gruff voice.
"Just hanging out with Princess Twilight." Pip replied
"Awesome." Milo replied.
"Milo, is it okay if you can get me some tokens to play with Twilight, and give me and her fingers so we can hold the guns in our hooves?"
"No problem, kiddo." said Milo. couple of coins and fingers coming right up." He went to the counter and got him a total of 9 coins for each of the, cause according to the machine, it says you need 3 coins max to play the game. "And now, for the fingers." He used his horn to use a magic swirl that went around Twilight's and Pip's hooves and four fingers, including a thumb were now present on their hooves.
"Enjoy the game, Pip." said Milo
"Thanks, Mr. Mash." said Pip
"No prob." said Milo
When the game started, the two grabbed their machine gun controllers and began to play.
"Be warned." said Pip "These Zombies are no pushovers."
Twilight giggled and said "Oh alright."
For ten long minutes they shot every zombie in their path in the game. The two both had an equal number of points of three thousand, but as they got into a few more levels, the zombies became more and more smarter, and started running instead of lumbering. After a total of thirteen rounds, and many revivals (Mostly Pip reviving Twilight) They lost the game.
"Aw jeez." said Pip a little bummed "We lost."
"It's okay, Pip. It was just a game." said Twilight in a comforting voice
"I know. It was fun while it lasted." Pip replied "We still got 6 more coins, you know."
"I know, I know," Twilight said "Wanna play again?"
"Of course." said Pip. And so the two put three more coins in the two separate coin compartments and played the game for their special time together once again.
