Back at the castle there sat a little lavender foal unicorn, gazing up at Princess Celestia. She still smelled horrible, desperately needed a bath, but was not able to do to the water being off. All the guards were running to find the source of the problem and the maids were trying to get the water back on. Luna having awoken upon leaving was giggling at the servants trying every tap in the every room that had one, and there are a lot of taps and rooms.
Luna was getting bored of watching the servants scurry around. So she looked up at her ‘mom’ and said, "Woona want up!" She had her hooves in the air. She could not fly due to her small wings being under developed. Celestia was just glancing around at the activity that was going on. She felt a tug on her leg and looked down at Luna.
"Not right now, we have to give Twily a bath. And you need one too, little miss play in the mud at the gate." She replied. Then she thought of the mud, you need water and dirt to make it, so that must be the problem. They have a leak. "Guard! There is a puddle of mud by the front gate that is where our problem lies." The guard galloped off to fix the problem. In a matter of moments the water was running again. "Ah there we go." Twilight looked up at her and smiled.
She uttered,"I wove you mama!" Twilight was in high spirits at the words she had spoken. Celestia features clearly were shocked at that statement. She had a feeling in her chest she never had before. She felt the love of a mother for her foal.
"I love you to hun." She nuzzled her softly, but was worried they had lost her smart mind too. She would have to find a cure if this doesn't go away on its own. The bath had filled up by the time she looked back up. She tested the water to make sure it was not to hot or too cold. She got in with Luna after. She got Twilight in her aura to bring her in but the second one of her hoofs touched the water she started to struggle. Luna saw this and pronounced," its fun Twiwight! See." She then picked up a blue toy boat that was on the edge of the tub and held it out to Twilight. "I wove you Twiwight. I won't wet any bad ting hewt you. I pwomiss."
Twilight stared at it then at Luna then to Celestia, and let her put her in the bathtub. She then grabbed the boat from the water and pushed it to Luna so they pushed it back at forth. "I wove you to Woona!" The fillies even made a little game with the rubber duck.
Then they continued with the bath till them both showed no signs of smell or filth. They then got dried off with a fluffy towel then went out of the bathroom and back into the nursery made for them ahead of their mommy.
When Celestia walked in she saw a stunning night sky painted on the walls, a changing table, two high chairs, and a little round table with a few vibrant stools, a toy chest, some blankets on the floor, and two cribs. One crib was night blue with Luna's cutie mark. And the other that was purple with Twilight’s cutie mark. She walked over to the table and went into a cubby for the supplies then she took out the cream, wipes, powder, and of course the diapers.
Celestia then lifted up Twilight onto the changing table; the sun princess then gave a small giggle as she watched Luna try to peer over the edge. So she simply grabbed a colorful stool from the table with her golden magic and let Luna climb up on it so she could see.
Twilight observed her with her cute little purple eyes as Celestia carefully set her onto her back. She then opened the diaper up. “Up ya go”, sang Celestia in a cheery voice that made little Twily laugh as she slipped the diaper under Twilight’s flanks. She then wiped away any mess with a cold wipe. The purple filly jumped a bit but Celestia calmly held her down. “Don’t worry, It’s just cold”, cooed the bringer of the day as the filly settled down.
She then spread the cream that prevented rashes over Twi’s privates but the white mare didn’t feel embarrassed, after all, she had done this a few times to Luna back in the old days and besides, they were babies. So she soon powdered her and wrapped up the diaper.
She then chuckled a little at the starry diaper crinkling as her pupil waddled around on the floor. Celestia then repeated the process with Luna who was a little fussy but otherwise fine. She swore she saw both of them blush at one point or another; maybe they were a little aware about that. Perhaps she could buy them some onesies or some kind of pajamas because they kind of looked a little chilly.
She finally took a good look around the room and marveled at how fast the maids had put together this little nursery. "They sure know how to put a room together." Celestia said. She then stared down at the two little foals who were toddling around on the floor. So the sunny alicorn took out some random toys from the chest and placed them on a fuzzy blanket for them to play with while she was gone.
She then went into the small closet to grab two stuffed animals one a doll Twilight loved when she was really little, her Smarty Pants then the second one was Ursa Minor for Luna, and she always liked the starry bears.
By the time she came back over to them they had fallen asleep on the fuzzy blanket in a pile together near the toys. Twilight was suckling her hoof, it was the cutest thing. And Luna was spread out like rug. Celestia laughed at that. "Just like old times..."
She gently picked them up in her magic and put them in their respective cribs, also pulling their cute blankets over each of them. She placed the dolls in also; they automatically snuggled up to them. "Good night you guys. I love you.” She then shut the door and strolled out. She was on her way to the library to find a cure for them. This is going to be a very long night.
