Spike and William cry in unwanted defeat when they’re stuck in the cage. Discord begins to cry faster and faster in despair, along with Ian, Tails, and TJ. Leo becomes distraught, showing no emotion and standing still.
“LET HER GO, DAMN YOU!!!” Tails screams in anger.
“Oh, but then I won’t complete my final steps of control.” Volucris cooed, “And I can’t just abandon my plans, not after I came so far.”
“Twilight…” Discord pleas, “I know you’re strong, you have to fight this…”
“SHUT UP, YOU PIECE OF CRAPPY GARBAGE SHIT!” The evil Twilight screams, keeping an sinister look on her face.
This frightens Discord, along with having Ian cower behind his goat leg, and hugging it tightly. Spike also tries to help regain Twilight’s memory, despite being locked up.
“Twilight… It’s me, Spike…” Spike whimpers, when clutching to the bars, “I’m you’re number one assistant, remember? I’m your friend…”
“A PUNY DRAGON WIMP FOR AN ASSISTANT!? DROP DEAD!” the evil Twilight snarls.
Spike falls back, in shock and sadness for those words he just heard. There’s no talking sense into her. She’s completely under control of Volucris. The red aura around the alicorn’s eyes grows brighter and brighter, like a hellish inferno.
“She only wishes to listen to me now, as you understand…” Volucris muses, “Now, I leave and trust the rest of the planning to her.”
Twilight first steps forward toward the caged Spike and William.
“First thing is first…” Twilight hisses to the dragon and worm, “When we get to my dark kingdom, you two will be sentenced to DEATH!”
Spike’s eyes widens as he whimpers and sobs, while William simply faints.
“AS FOR ALL OF YOU WEAKLINGS….” Twilight called out the hiding ponies in their homes, including Discord, the foxes, Ian, and Leo, “AT THE BRINK OF DAWN TOMORROW, YOU WILL BE ENSLAVED TO WORK EVERY DAY UNDER THE NAME OF QUEEN VOLUCRIS. YOUR HOMES WILL BE BURNT TO THE GROUND!”
The brainwashed Twilight rolls her eyes, expecting attention.
“COME OUT, AND PAY ATTENTION TO ME AND MY MINIONS!” she shrieked.
Twilight then casts her new dark spells to smash the walls of the ponies’ stores and homes. The either stay in place, hugging and hunching each other, or fall out from their buildings. They finally look up at the cursed Twilight and her friends, now no longer good.
“KNEEL!” the six brainwashed ponies all say at once.
The citizen ponies do so, and wobble their legs, and shake their bodies in fear while they have their knees touch the ground. Discord, Ian, and Leo just stand, refusing to knell to such cursed power, which the possessed six ponies accept them doing. Tails just looks blankly at Twilight while he stands by T.J. He didn't want this to happen to her, but it did.
“YOU WILL ALL SUFFER THE WRATH OF WHAT HAPPENED TO VOLUCRIS FOR THE REST OF YOUR DAYS!” the dark Twilight screams, “LET THIS BE KNOWN TO EVERY ONE OF YOU, THAT ALL WHO OPPOSE OUR NEW LAWS WILL BE SENTENCED TO DEATH!”
Twilight stops screaming to catch her breath for a minute, while Volucris smiles at her speech.
“And also…” the brainwashed Twilight continued, looking at Princess Celestia and Luna, tied and trapped in the hive, “Princess Celestia and Luna will be sentenced to death as of tomorrow.”
Celestia and Luna are awake in the hive, hearing every word of what the cursed Twilight just said. Celestia softly lets out tears. her own friend, and student, has been taken over by her newest enemy, Volucris. And now, there’s nothing she can do about it.
Discord was full of sympathy and rage, he refuses for any harm to come to Celestia, especially when someone manipulated is trying to kill her. Without thinking, he flies real fast toward Twilight.
“IF YOU’RE NOT GOING TO SNAP OUT OF IT, I’LL HELP YOU DO IT!” he cries in hope.
While flying, he raises his arms to give a loving hug, and prepares to snap his fingers to make something break the curse. But before he does, Volucris grins, and helps the brainwashed Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie escape with their hived princess and caged friend prisoners. With one flash coming from Volucris’ horn, a lightning zap strikes down on the group Discord heads towards. The lord of chaos rushes through nothing but air, right after Volucris disappears. The mane six are also gone. Celestia and Luna are also officially n danger, let alone Spike and William too. There’s no doubt that they could be ANYWHERE in Equestria.
Discord drops flat to the ground, devastated while crying hard. Ian and Leo come to Discord’s side, and comfort him. The other ponies are also devastated as well, but mainly panicking. They began to rush around the village to find their loved ones, and gather their precious items. Some also find weapons, in case they want to defend themselves.
Coming through the crowd is Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo, who are looking for some pony to help them find their sisters. They then notice two foxes right by Discord, along with Ian, and Leo. They trot real fast in fear until they’re finally in front of them.
“Is anything okay? Did any of you of what happened to Applejack?” Apple Bloom asked.
“They were taken.” Discord whimpers, “QUEEN VOLUCRIS TOOK ALL SIX OF THEM!”
The cutie mark crusaders are confused at first, but Sweetie Belle eventually puts it together, having a terrified look cover her eyes and mouth.
“My sister… is she….” Sweetie Belle tries to ask.
Discord nods in sadness.
“Rainbow Dash, too…” Ian breathes out slowly.
“Than what can we do?” Scootaloo asks.
“Volucris has stronger chaos than I do…” Discord weeps, “We lost. Volucris has now got the best of us…”
“Now that she took control of Twilight and her friends, she’ll use their powers to become stronger…” Leo groaned.
Tails shook in anger. This mission isn't over yet, not until justice is done…
“You guys may be young…” Tails whispers to the cutie mark crusaders.
The three fillies look at Tails in curiosity.
“And Discord, you got these three fillies, Leo, and Ian. You still can combine your strengths and love.” Tails encourages, “We’re going after Twilight and the others…”
“Tails! That’s insane!” TJ says, “Sure we came a long way, but Volucris is really dangerous to confront now!”
“It’s like Discord said, we have no chance…” Apple Bloom tried to add.
“NO, GODDAMMIT!! I WON'T LOSE!! I'LL WIN THIS...FOR….TWILIGHT.” Tails says in defiance, “AND THEN, I'LL TELL YOU THE TRUTH ABOUT HOW I FEEL...”
“How you feel?” Ian asks in surprise.
Tails then calms down, letting out a big sigh.
“Look, you all care so much for Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Rainbow, and Pinkie.” Tails points out, “Right now, I’m curious of Twilight, and…. I want to become friends with her.”
The gang looks directly at Tails as he continues to speak.
“Right now those six innocent heroes are being tormented by a manipulating spell. Twilight always fights for her friends whenever they are in peril. I've studied this world for a while, and I know how important protecting someone you love is. And right now, if I were Twilight, or anyone else’s friend, I would go rescue them, because I care for them. If I were a friend, I would never give up easily and let someone else suffer. I would fight, and keep fighting, until they live, and free… ”
Discord spirits rise just a tad bit when hearing these words. And Apple Bloom feels some hope, knowing there’s still a way she can save her sister. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo start to stand up tall as well. Ian, Leo, and TJ just stand in place, yet they think…. and know Tails is right, after what he just said.
“But Volucris has Celestia And Luna captured.” Leo thinks out loud.
“There’s no doubt her weeds took control of the Crystal Empire too.” Discord says softly.
He snaps his fingers to make a magic mirror, seeing the travesty happening in that area, just like Discord predicted. Everypony in the empire is a hostage and prisoner of the black weeds. But Discord notices something different.
“I don’t see Shining Armor or Cadence.” Discord observes, “Maybe they’re safe.”
“Yeah, maybe since they have some strong magic, they can tell us how we can defeat Volucris.” Ian thinks out loud.
“I do recall that Cadence keeps secret memory scrolls that can’t be found in any library, not even in Twilight’s castle.” Leo informs, “They can help us find one of those documents.”
“But we don’t know where they’re hiding.” Sweetie Belle says.
“And if I use my magic to transport us there, there’s no doubt Volucris will have Twilight prepared to attack, I just know it…” Discord worries.
Leo notices dark aura covering the lining of the distant landscapes. He even looks up to see the grey and orange mixture forming in the sky.
“There’s no doubt in my mind that thousands of weeds will appear more and more.” Leo said, “They’ll guard every region from all around Equestria.”
“Um, I don’t know if this helps, but I did hang out with Cadence last time coincidentally at Pinkie Pie’s treasure hunt party.” Scootaloo says, “And she told me something very important, whenever there’s an emergency.”
The gang looks at Scootaloo.
“Why did she choose you?” Apple Bloom wonders.
“She knows I’m like my sister, and yours, Bloom and Belle.” she calmly says, “Since she’s close to my sister, she let me know that in case of any invasion, or if I’m separated from any of my family members, I let my friends know that she and Shining Armor will be hiding at the Hidden Cove, somewhere in a dessert that miles through the Everfree Forest.”
“All the way out there?” Ian asks in surprise.
“Do she show you where it is?” Discord asks.
“Yes.” Scootaloo responds, “Just when she had a lecture with me the other day.”
“Then here’s what I suggest we do.” Tails said, “Scootaloo can show us the way to the Hidden Cove. Then maybe once we meet Cadence and Shining Armor, we can plan a way to get into the empire to find these informative scrolls on how to stop Volucris. Then hopefully, we can find a spell that can break that brainwashing curse on Twilight and her friends.”
Discord looks at Tails, eye to eye.
“Why help us since we don’t know you too well?” he asked.
“It’s what me and my cousin TJ do.” Tails replies, “We want to make new friends in different universes. You’re our friends too. We have to help you now.”
Discord and the cutie mark crusaders come up to Tails, and hug him.
“Thanks for helping us.” Apple Bloom says quietly, “It’s great to have you on our new team.”
“Three fillies, two foxes, a draconequus, a gnome, and me. Who would have thunk?” Ian chuckles.
“It’s not going to be safe here too long.” Leo notices, “It’s best we get our things, and leave now.”
Everyone nods.
“Well, guys, let's go.” said Tails.
William and Spike were somehow knocked out unconscious after the big flash that they teleported through. Blinking their eyes slowly, they wake to see that they are locked in a dungeon cell that looks like it’s made completely of plants and wood. The dungeon room alone is colored dark green all around the stone walls and ceilings. The floor is made of bricks, the color of blood red. Spike then comes to the cell bars, clutching his hands against the prison rails.
“Well this is just GREAT!” William says in a sarcastic tone, “I normally go through the lame ‘royal’ treatment Rarity makes me practice, but this is SO BETTER!”
“Quit complaining!” Spike spat out, “I already know the situation we’re in. I just need to think.”
“YOU REALLY ASSUME NOW IS THE TIME TO THINK!?” William demands.
“If we want to figure a way out of here, yes.” Spike responds.
Spike continues to look around the room. There is little weak points that he notices so far, and all the sealings of the dungeon room are well covered with sticky looking goo that looks like tar. He looks real closely, thinking….
Then, he notices a tiny weed that is still squirming and alive. It appears to be guarding Spike and William, and has the ability to grow big in case they left their cell. Spike is starting to figure, and if he can get the weeds attention, he’ll use that damn vulgar thing to pick the lock. Spike starts out by making a sublime move with his tail.
“Hey weed, I got something for you to nibble on.” he insults in a childlike voice
“What?” William said, while overhearing.
Spike kept at his annoying, childlike moves. It wasn't after a couple minutes until the weed decided to sneak through the cracks, and go into the cell to teach Spike a lesson. But Spike was prepared. The moment the weed entered the cell, he used a real loose floor tile, one that he observed throughout his atmosphere. He then smashes the tile through the weed’s torso, cutting it in half, and ridding it from its evil life. He then adjusts the plant to grow thin and stiff, and has it reaching out, and going through the cell bars. He then attempts to pick the lock for a couple minutes, until CLICK
The cell door than opens for Spike and William, introducing them to a chance of escape.
“Let’s go! We got to find a way out!” Spike said, “Then we have to get back to our friends.”
“You mean the mane six?” William asked sheepishly.
Spike sighs.
“No, they’re dangerous. I mean our other friends. But we will find a way to snap Twilight out of it.”
After Spike says that, he and William rushed to find their way out of this hellish place.
