The Slayers

Ch.1 Appearence of The Slayers

Talon wasn't having a very good day. Talon, being a wild eagle, was hunting for mice to bring home to his family for dinner. He didn't have any luck so far, probably because that pink blast from that city on the mountain caused all the mice to hide underground.

Seeing the Ghastly Gorge coming into view, Talon thought that the mice in there probably hadn't seen nor sensed that blast! Swooping down to the gorge, and then flying to the ground and then landing on the ground, Talon began looking for the white little beings.

Not seeing anything in particular, Talon walked across the bottom of the gorge.

Five minutes later, he heard an echo.

"Are you sure about this Ray? Last time you did this we ended up inside a closet... naked"

The echo was of a female voice! She sounded rather worried.

Before Talon could think about this some more another echo appeared.

"Don't worry Shade, my calculations are one hundred percent perfect, now shut up, I gotta concentrate"

This one was male and sounded rather monotone.

"If I know Ray, then he can do this, I taught you two everything I know about magic, and if anyone can pull enough Eternanos together to punch a hole through space, it's Ray" A third voice said, this one sounding almost fatherly, stern yet kind.

Talon, being the curious eagle he is, waited for some more voices, none more came. Getting rather bored, Talon was just about to fly away when a swirling mass of blue appeared thirty feet in the air.

"Oh SHIIIIIIT!!!" The third voice from earlier sounded from the mass of blue. Soon what seemed like the owner of the voice fell from the portal. Followed by two more things. One of the tree landed on it's feet whilst the other two face-planted into the ground. After that the portal quickly closed.

The one that landed on it's feet, rose to it's full height, standing at five and a half feet tall, the being was bipedal, had sky blue hair in a mohawk, and blue'ish purple eyes. It wore blue sneakers, black sweat pants and a black tank top. From the roundings the being had Talon decided it was female.

The other two beings slowly got up.

The second tallest of the two stood at precisely six foot tall, had dark green hair which went up in spikes, and dark green eyes as well. It wore shiny red metal boots, dark green cargo pants, and a blue hoodie with a green flame where it's heart was. This one along with other looked more bulky and rough around the edges, Talon decided these where male.

The last stood at a startling seven feet tall, had grey hair ending in pink which hung lazily over it's head, and pink eyes. It wore grey shoes, blue cargo pants and a grey t-shirt with a what looked a pink diamond over its chest. All three beings wore backpacks that matched their color schemes.

The female looked around a bit before hitting the shorter male upside the head.

"Damn it Ray! You did it wrong again!" The female said.

"Look at it from the bright side, at least we didn't end up naked in a closet" the short male offered.

The female got a blush over her face before yelling. "Easy for you to say!"

"Now now simmer down you two, if you want bash each others face in do that when we're home. Ray got a grip on the Eternanos yet?" The tall male asked.

"No, strange, I can't seem to get a grip on the Eternanos here, they're much... smoother, then usual" the short male identified as Ray said.

"Smoother? But that could only be if there are a lot of Mages here, and only five percent of the world population is a Mage, right?" The female.

"Indeed Shade, only five percent. Well it doesn't matter, let's just explore a little bit" the tall male said.

"Sure why not" The female identified as Shade said.

"I'll get us outta this gorge... Core Switch; Flight Core" Ray said as a dark green magic circle appeared over his chest. Ray then grabbed onto the other twos arms and lifted of into the air, bright blue flames jetting out from under his boots.

"This is way past weird" Talon thought as he lifted of to go home, preparing himself for telling his family there will be no dinner tonight.

(1 hour later)

"Just where did you take us Ray?" Shade asked with a puzzled look on her face as the three humans walked through the forest located next to the gorge they appeared in.

"I... don't know, this place doesn't match any maps of earth I have" Ray replied with a stunned look on his face. "Tino? do you know anything?" Ray asked the large man.

The large man known as Tino said nothing.

"Dad?" Shade asked.

"Oh sorry gang I was mesmerized by four incredibly powerful magic signatures north-east of our location" Tino said.

"How powerful?" Shade asked.

"Let's just say that the most powerful is about as strong as me"

"What!? Then it must be a god!" Shade yelled, surprised that there can someone as strong as her father.

"It is, from what I could make out it has the very power of the sun behind it... the second most powerful seems to have the power of the moon, both of these are immortal... Ray fly straight up and see if you can see where the powers are located" Tino said as the three stopped walking.

"Right" Ray said as he flew up with the same blue flames under his boots. Flying high enough he could see a MASSIVE city hanging from a far off mountain. "That's gotta be held up by magic" He said to himself as he looked around a little more, spotting a small town to the north outside the forest, he then cut the flames and fell to the ground, leaving a small impact crater on the ground as he landed.

"And?" Shade asked.

As he got back up Ray said. "I don't know how, but there is a massive city hanging from the side of a mountain, that's probably where those signatures are located"

"Hmm, probably. Anything else?" Tino asked.

"Yes, small town north of the forest, perhaps we should go there?" Ray answered.

"Yes, we will, what time is it by the way?"

"It looks to be four in the afternoon from the position of the sun" Shade answered after she looked up for a little bit.

"Well then we'll set up camp here for now, that fine with you guys?" Tino asked.

"Yeah sure" Ray replied.

"Again, why not" Shade said.

And with the that the three dropped their backpacks to the ground and chose everything they would need to survive a night in the forest.

(The next morning, 11 am, Canterlot castle dining room)

The morning after the wedding, the mane six, Princess Luna and Celestia, and Cadence and Shining Armor, were simply sitting in the dining room eating breakfast, like nothing had happened the day before... well, all except one.

"And did you see how I bucked those changelings to next week! It was so awesome!" Rainbow Dash said with an expression of pure glee.

"Yeah Dash we saw it all right, we were there 'member?" Applejack retorted, annoyance apparent in her voice.

"I know but IT WAS AWESOME!!!" Dash yelled. Loudly.

Before she could say anything else, princess Celestia magically tapped her spoon against her glass. Gaining everyponies attention.

"Now, on to more pressing matters" Celestia spoke.

"You felt it too, didn't you sister?" Princess Luna asked.

"Yes, yes I did" Celestia replied, knowing exactly what her sister meant.

"Felt what?" Twilight Sparkle asked, not liking that she was being left out of something.

"Yesterday, right after the Changelings were disposed of, three incredibly powerful magical signatures appeared out of nowhere, now first I thought this was the work of three Changelings trying to slow their fall. But the signatures were to powerful to be that, now I would have gone to investigate myself, but with Equestria almost being taken over I couldn't. They started moving soon after I noticed them, and after an hour they stopped moving, my guess is they set up camp in the Everfree" Celestia explained.

"The Everfree!? I hope they're safe" Fluttershy said, her voice rising ever so slightly.

"This morning they started moving again... towards Ponyville. My question to you six is; would you find these creatures, and if possible, determine if they are hostile or not?" Celestia asked, indicating the mane six.

"With all due respect princess, but, wouldn't in be better to send the royal guard? If they are as powerful as you say then they must be found and be taken in for questioning about why they're here" Shining Armor said.

"That might have been the better option yes but if we would do that we could anger them into attacking us, and that wouldn't end pleasantly" Celestia retaliated.

"... Fair enough" Shining Armor said.

"So you're asking us to find three, potentially hostile, incredibly powerful creatures and if possible befriend them am I right?" Dash asked, being as blunt as ever.

"Yes that is correct" Celestia replied honestly.

"Well, we're-"

"We'll gladly take this task upon us princess" Twilight said quickly, having closed Rainbows mouth with her magic.

"Are you completely sure Twilight? This could be very dangerous" Celestia warned.

"Yes I'm sure" Twilight replied with a smile.

"Very well then" Celestia said with her own smile.

And with that the subject was dropped and everyone went back to their regular topics.

(1 hour later, train station)

"I am expecting a full report when you befriend the creatures Twilight" Celestia said as Twilight was about to step onto the train to Ponyville.

"Don't worry princess, I'm sure we can find those creatures and befriend them" Twilight said with a smile as she stepped onto the train.

"I certainly hope so" Celestia thought as the train left towards Ponyville.
