//------------------------------// // Chapter 2: The Riders Appear // Story: Kamen Rider/MLP: Battle For Equestria // by KnightBrony //------------------------------// Chapter 2 The Riders Appear Twilight and Celestia stood on opposite sides of a giant magic circle in the center of one of the hidden rooms in the castle. In the center were the Elements of Harmony, sans Twilight's tiara. The circle was massive, with numerous runes and symbols decorating the edges and circumference. Twilight looked at the circle nervously. From what she had read in her studies of magic, circles such as this were often used for very powerful and archaic magic. Magic that predated even the Princesses. “Are you sure about this spell Princess, it seems a little...dangerous,” Twilight said as Celestia finished placing the final rune in place. Floating next to her was an extremely old book that looked to be bound in leather. That fact alone frightened Twilight. Celestia closed the book and let out a sigh. “This is what the book says is required for the summoning along with the incantation. I will admit though, using a magic circle unnerves me. I have only used this type of magic once before, and only with Luna and Mother Faust along with me,” Celestia said. “It kind of looks like something I read in one of those Neighponese manga. Full Metal...something,” Spike said. “We have read that as well. We find it to be most enjoyable!” Luna said as she and Spike hoofbumped/fistbumped one another. Celestia and Twilight shook their heads at the two's antics. “Well, now that everything is prepared, we should begin. The longer we wait, the more time we are giving Chrysalis and Foundation X. Are you ready Twilight?” Celestia asked. “Remind me again why it's just you and I doing this and not Luna? She seems like she'd have a better grasp of this than me,” Twilight said. “Our magic is weak at the moment. We were attacked by one of those monsters and sapped of most of our magic. We barely had enough to aid our sister in the teleportation spell. Our magic is returning, but it will take some time. For the moment, only you and sister are at full magical strength,” Luna said. Twilight looked terrified at this prospect. It was bad enough that these monsters were powerful, but knowing that some could steal magic power made her very uneasy. Not to mention Twilight had never attempted a spell of this kind of magnitude before. The spell she had used that earned her her title and wings looked like child's play compared to this spell. Celestia put a hoof on Twilight's shoulder and smiled “Relax Twilight, I am sure we can handle this together. Now, let us begin,” Celestia said as she moved to the opposite side of the circle. Twilight breathed deeply and then let the breath out. She was still nervous, but she had to try. For her friends. Twilight placed herself opposite Celestia on the circle “I'm ready Princess,” Twilight said with confidence. Celestia nodded as her and Twilight's horns began to glow. The runes began to glow along the circle as Celestia began to chant. Spirits of Harmony hear my call! We seek your aid, please do not stall! From worlds unheard we call forth five heroes of courage and power! To embody the powers of Loyalty, Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Honesty who will not cower! As Celestia chanted, the Elements of harmony began to glow in an ethereal light. Soon, Celestia and Twilight's eyes began to glow with an intense white light, raw magic coursing through them. Twilight repeated Celestia's words. Spirits of Harmony hear my call! We seek your aid, please do not stall! From worlds unheard we call forth five heroes of courage and power! To embody the powers of Loyalty, Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Honesty who will not cower! A portal began to open above the circle, shining in a multicolored light. The Elements began to shake with power and began to rise towards the portal. Twilight and Celestia then both spoke in an ancient language. Nos peto suum suffragium in nostrum vicis of postulo! Per Consensio to order nos dico thee continuo huic optimus res! Videor, Champions! As they completed the chant, the Elements were sucked into the portal as the room shook with power. When the Elements were sucked completely into the portal, the portal closed and sent a shock wave throughout the room, knocking Celestia, Twilight, Luna, and Spike against the walls. Twilight and Celestia wearily stood, their bodies drained of magic and their fur slightly singed. They looked around to find that the Elements had disappeared, but the five champions were nowhere to be seen. All four frantically looked around, but found no sign of anyone or anything but the circle. Twilight grew frustrated and punched the wall “WHY! We did everything that book said, so where are these champions!?” she yelled furiously. Celestia flipped through the book, looking for an explanation of what could've gone wrong. “This doesn't make any sense. We followed the spell to the letter. The size of the circle, the placement of the runes, the incantation, everything! Why did it fail?” Celestia said as they all looked down, their last hope seemingly gone. Seemingly. Meanwhile on Earth Earth, a planet inhabited by the race known as Humans. Their history has been fraught with war and strife, but through it all they have survived. As time went on, the relative peace of Humanity was threatened by many evils. Evil organizations, aliens, ancient monsters, and even their own people. However, wherever evil arose there stood those ready to fight and preserve peace and harmony. These courageous heroes are known as the Kamen Riders. High above the sky on Earth, a giant portal opened up. From it came five lights that flew across the sky like shooting stars. However, where one can never know where a shooting star may land, these stars had a specific destination. These five lights were the Elements of Harmony, and unbeknownst to the world, they were about to gain five new bearers. Fuuto, the Windy City Hidari Shotaro, a private detective who strives to live his life in a “Hard-Boiled” way, and his partner Phillip, a man possessing all the knowledge in the world, entered their home, the Narumi Detective agency. “Ah, another boring missing pet case. Why can't I ever get anything more exciting?” Shotaro questioned as he plopped down in his chair. Phillip sat down as well and began to flip through his ever present book, pages blank. “Are you sure about that Shotaro? You wouldn't want more Dopants to be running around the city would you?” Phillip said. Shotaro scoffed at his partner. “Of course I wouldn't! I'm just saying I'm getting tired of nothing but boring case after boring case. It's been nothing but missing pets for so long. I need something more exciting, something that fits a hard-boiled man like myself,” he said tracing his finger along the brim of his hat. Phillip closed his book and sighed. “If you're that bored then why not just move to a different city?” Phillip asked. “What did you say?” Shotaro said, a dangerous edge to his voice. “You heard me. Why not pack up shop and move to another city that requires your services. It's not like we've got much here anymore anyway. Akiko's married to Terui Ryu, and he can handle any problems that would arise on his own. So really there's no more need for us to OOMF!” Phillip said as Shotaro punched him. As he rubbed his face, Shotaro grabbed him by the shirt. “I can't believe I even need to explain to you why that's never gonna happen. This city is my garden, my home. This is where my life is, my memories of the Boss. Terui may be a Kamen Rider too, but this city has and always will be under my protection. I refuse to let anyone in this city cry. You should know that by now, Phillip,” Shotaro said as he released Phillip. Phillip rubbed his face and merely stared at Shotaro. He sometimes forgot just how passionate Shotaro could be, and how committed he was to his duty as a Kamen Rider and detective. He noticed that Shotaro had his hand extended. Phillip smiled and took his hand. “Just the kind of half-boiled response I'd expect from you Shotaro,” Phillip said. “Oh shut up,” Shotaro said as the two smiled. Suddenly, a bright light smashed through their window and landed at their feet. Both covered their eyes as the light slowly died down to reveal a gold necklace with a ruby lightning bolt jewel placed on it. Both looked at it confused. “What the hell is that thing?” Shotaro said bending down to get a better look at it, Phillip doing the same. ”I don't know. How thrilling,” he said as a large smile spread across his face. Both of them reached for the necklace, and as they grabbed hold of it they suddenly felt themselves being lifted into a strange portal. Too late to do anything, all they did was scream in surprise as they were sucked into the strange portal. Somewhere in Africa The sun shone brightly on a small village nestled in the desert. Children played as the adults went about there everyday business. In the distance, a figure could be seen walking through the desert toward the village. The figure looked to be dressed in baggy, bohemian style clothing. The oddest thing about the figure however was the large pole he was carrying with a pair of underwear hanging from them. This figure was Hino Eiji, better known as Kamen Rider OOO. Eiji walked into the village, getting strange looks from it's inhabitants as they had never seen someone like him before, more so about the fact that he carried his underwear on a pole. Eiji made his way to the town center where a large well was placed. Eiji approached the well, his body dripping with sweat. Eiji turned to one of the villagers and asked “May I have a drink?” The villager, a bit taken aback that he knew the language, nodded. Eiji retrieved the water from the well and took a long drink. When he was finished, he turned to the villager and bowed. “Thank you very much. If I may pardon you again, I was wondering if you know of a man called Zanza?” Eiji asked. The villager nodded and said “Zanza is our local medicine man. Why are you looking for him stranger?” Eiji reached into his pocket and pulled out two broken pieces of a coin. The coin was strange though as it was red and appeared to have the image of a hawk embossed on it. “I was told Zanza knew some about ancient magic and history. I was hoping he could help me repair this,” Eiji said, looking at the coin with a sad smile. The villager could see the coin was important to Eiji and pointed his finger toward the far end of the village. “Zanza lives in a hut down towards the far side of the village. Can't miss it,” he said. Eiji smiled and bowed “Thank you very much,” he said before heading off to see Zanza. Eiji looked down at the coin one more time, remembering his promise to his friend Ankh. “Ankh, I will find a way to restore you to normal. I swear,” Eiji thought. Eiji's thoughts were interrupted as he heard a troubled cry. He turned toward the cry to find a boy that had fallen down and scraped his knee. Eiji rushed over to the boy and asked “Are you okay?” The boy shook his head, looking down at his knee and crying in pain. Eiji thought of what he could do, then snapped his fingers as he proceeded to rip part of his shirt off and wrapped it around the boy's leg as a bandage. He helped the boy to his feet. “Are you gonna be okay?” Eji asked. The boy nodded and smiled. “Thank you mister,” the boy said. Eiji patted him on the head and sen the boy off to play. As Eiji was about to head back out to see Zanza, a bright object fell form the sky and landed in front of him. After the dust cleared, Eiji looked to see what had fallen. What he found was a gold necklace with a pink butterfly shaped jewel on it. Eiji looked at the necklace in confusion. “What could this be?” he said as he picked it up. Shortly after, the necklace began to glow as Eiji was suddenly sucked up into a portal. As the dust cleared, nothing was left of Eiji but his underwear still hanging on it's pole. Somewhere Near Amanogawa High School “Man I'm tired!! That class sure was tough,” Gentarou said as he exited the community college he was taking courses at. After an odd encounter with his future self and a man calling himself Wizard, Gentarou had decided on becoming a teacher. It was his second year of college and Gentarou had made lots of new friends. Since the Zodiarts incident, the members of the Kamen Rider Club had lead relatively peaceful lives. Kengo and Yuki had gone into studying cosmic energy and the astronaut program respectively. Shun was fully committed to American football, Miu was working to become a model, JK was working as a journalist, and Tomoko was trying to become a writer. Gentarou stretched as he prepared to head home for the day. As he walked along, he looked around him and smiled at how peaceful everything had become. Gentarou missed the days of fighting monsters and saving people, but he was more than enjoying the peace. As he walked, he noticed one of his classmates sitting down on a bench alone. She looked like she had been crying. Gentarou saw this and immediately ran up to her. “Yo, Misaki,” Gentarou said as he approached the woman. The woman looked up at Gentarou in surprise before calming down at recognizing him. “Oh, it's only you Gentarou-san,” she said as she wiped a few stray tears from her eyes. “What's wrong, something happen?” Gentarou said as he sat down next to her. Misaki opened her mouth to make up some excuse, but found herself opening up to Gentarou. “Well, it's just.....it's my birthday and none of my friends remembered. Plus, I haven't even gotten a call from my parents yet. Some birthday huh,” Misaki said as she wiped another tear. She looked over to see that Gentarou was crying himself but shaking in anger. As he wiped the tears from his eyes, he let out a yell of anger. “Unforgivable! I won't forgive those who make their friend's cry!” Gentarou said as he proceeded to frantically search through his bag. Misaki looked at him in confusion before he produced a wrapped bun with the words “Happy Birthday” scrawled on the packing with a marker. “Here. I know it's not much, but Happy Birthday Misaki. Go on, take it,” he said as he gave her the bun. Misaki wiped the tears from from her eyes and smiled at Gentarou. “Thank you Gentarou-san. You always know how to make someone smile,” Misaki said as she took the bun. Gentarou smiled and said “Of course, I'm Kisaragi Gentarou, the man who will befriend the whole world”. Gentarou followed up this statement by tapping his fist against his chest and pointing a finger at Misaki. Misaki smiled and gave Gentarou a hug. This took Gentarou by surprise, but he hugged her back. Misaki broke the hug and smiled at Gentarou “Thank you Gentarou-kun. See you,” she said winking at him. Gentarou blushed and waved at her. He smiled at himself, proud that he made a friend smile. “Well, time to..” he began to say as a blinding light suddenly fell from the sky and landed in his hand. As the light died down, Gentarou looked to find that a necklace with a blue balloon jewel was in his hand. “What the heck is this?” Gentarou asked before he too was sucked into the portal, his bag dropping to the ground abandoned. Donut Shop Hungry “Thank you for waiting Haru-kun!” the Shop Owner said as he placed a tray of plain sugar donuts in front of Hungry's few regular customers, Haruto Souma, the ring bearing mage, Kamen Rider Wizard. “Thank you,” Haruto said as he bit into one of the donuts. As Haruto ate, he enjoyed being able to eat Hungry's donuts again. After being away for almost a year searching for a place where Koyomi's spirit could rest in peace, Haruto had returned to his friends and had been living in relative peace. Haruto bit into another donut and sighed in content “Man it's good to be back,” he said. As Haruto ate, he looked around at the people milling about. Couples on dates, parents with their children, and children playing. AS he watched, his eyes fixated on a boy staring intently at a doll in the store window. Haruto watched as the boy pulled out some money from his pocket, then hung his head as he apparently didn't have enough. Haruto set down his donut and walked over to the boy. “Oi, boy,” Haruto said getting the boy's attention. The boy turned to Haruto, a sad look on his face. “Did you want to get that doll?” Haruto asked. The boy nodded and turned to look at the doll. “My sister's been in the hospital for a few months and I wanted to get her something special for her birthday. But I don't have enough money,” the boy said as he looked down sadly. Haruto smiled and patted the boy on the shoulder. “I think that's a very kind thing to want to do for your sister. Here,” Haruto said handing the boy some money. “This should be enough for you to get that doll for your sister,” Haruto said as the boy's eyes lit up. “Thank you so much mister! Who are you?” the boy asked. Haruto lifted his left hand, showing off one of his rings. “Just your friendly neighborhood mage. Now go, get that doll for your sister,” Haruto said as he walked back to his donuts. The Store Owner smiled at Haruto and said “That was so nice of you Haru-kun”. Haruto bowed and went back to eating his donuts. At least, he would have if a blinding purple light didn't crash into his table, crushing his donuts in the process. Haruto stood there dumbfounded as he fell to his knees, grabbing at one of the crushed remains of one of his donuts. “My...donuts..” Haruto said, a slight tear rolling down his face. Haruto's face then became angry as he looked into the crater to find what had crushed his donuts. He was a little more than surprised to find a necklace with a purple diamond-shaped jewel on it to be the cause of his donuts' demise. Haruto picked it up and examined it. “What's this,” he said as a familiar portal opened up and sucked him up. The Store Owner looked at the scene in shock. “Haru-kun?” he said as he frantically looked for the missing mage. Zawame City “Come on, I need a job,” said Kazuraba Kouta as he complained to the owner of a convenience store who was refusing to hire him. “Sorry kid, but I don't want my business to be ruined by having one you Beat Riders working here,” the manager said. “I keep trying to tell you all that the Beat Riders aren't to blame. It's all Yggdrasil, I swear!” Kouta said in his defense. For the last few months, Zawame City had been victim to attacks by monsters known as Inves. Many people thought the cause was the Beat Riders, dance teams who used to have battles involving the Inves. This however is not true. The Inves come from the world of Helheim, entering Earth through Cracks. Helheim was slowly taking hold of the Earth, but not without opposition. Kouta and most of the other Armored Riders were trying their hardest to fight the Inves and uncover Yggdrasil's plans. However, their efforts have not helped much. “Listen kid, I'm sure you're nice and all, but I don't want any of my customers getting hurt cause of you fighting those monsters. Now get out,” he said. Kouta tried to say something in his defense, but could not. People were getting hurt more and more from Inves attacks, and Kouta was one of the few Riders who were actively fighting them. He wanted to say nothing would happen, but he couldn't guarantee it. Frustrated, he said “Fine, I'll leave,” and stomped off. “It's not my fault the Inves are attacking people. It's all Yggdrasil's fault, them and their stupid secrets,” Kouta mumbled to himself as he trudged along the streets, his bag filled with resumes. “The Beat Riders are beyond the Inves game now, why can't people just wake up and see that!?” Kouta said as he slammed his fist against a wall. After Kouta's anger subsided, he took a deep breath and sighed. “Well, nothing I can do except keep trying and fighting till the world is at peace. I can't give up,” Kouta said as he continued to walk along the streets, eventually making his way back to Team Gaim's garage. As he was about to walk in the door, however, a blinding orange light crashed into the street behind him. Kouta immediately went to investigate. Expecting an Inves attack to be the cause he put on his Sengoku Driver and pulled out his Orange Lock Seed. When he got to the crater, he didn't find an Inves but rather a necklace with an orange apple shaped jewel on it. Kouta put his belt and Lock Seed away and picked up the strange necklace. “What's this thing?” he asked before a portal suddenly opened above him. Kouta had no time to react as he was sucked into the portal, his bag dropping to the ground and his resumes being strewn everywhere. Back in Equestria “Let's try the spell again, maybe we did something wrong,” Twilight suggested. Celestia shook her head. “The spell must have worked, otherwise the Elements of Harmony would still be here,” Celestia said, sighing in defeat. “That spell was our last hope. I'm out of ideas,” Celestia said as she sat down, trying her best to hold back tears of frustration. Luna walked up to her sister and draped a wing over her. “Do not despair dear sister. Though the spell has failed, we must not give up. We have faced worse than Chrysalis and this Foundation X, and we have always prevailed. We will do the same this time,” Luna said in a rare display of hopefulness. Celestia smiled at her sister and gave her a hug. “Thank you Luna. We'll just have to keep fighting until we prevail,” Celestia said with enthusiasm. Twilight and Spike joined them, confident they would find a solution. Luckily they wouldn't have to think for long, as they felt the room start to shake. The runes on the circle began to glow as five portals opened up above them. Twilight, Spike, Celestia, and Luna covered their eyes as the light and shaking grew more intense. As they thought the room would break, suddenly something began to come through the portals. One by one, figures began to drop from the portals, the portals closing as the figure dropped. When the final figure dropped, the room stopped shaking and the light died down. Twilight was the first to look at the figures, and was shocked at what was in front of her. In front of her were six figures, each one grumbling in annoyance and pain. She saw that they looked like the creatures that were with Chrysalis, except they were not dressed in white coats. One of the figures, who appeared to be dressed in a purple shirt, black vest, and a black hat atop its head, stood up and dusted himself off. “What the heck was that all about!?” Shotaro yelled, cracking his neck. Phillip stood up next to him and examined his book to see if it was damaged. “It would appear we've been transported to another world. How thrilling,” Phillip said, Shotaro shooting him a glare. “Shotaro, Phillip?” Eiji said as he stood up. Shotaro and Phillip looked over to see their ally Eiji. “Eiji, what are you doing here?” Shotaro asked. He looked to see that along with him were Gentarou, Haruto, and Kouta. “I think we could all ask that same question,”Haruto said as he dusted himself off, examining one of his rings. “Woah!! Sempai and Kouhai KITA!!!!!” Gentarou said as he proceeded to shake the hands of his fellow Riders. Kouta looked at all of them confused. “You guys? Are we fighting the Showa Riders again? I thought we settled things already,” Kouta said as he recognized his fellow Heisei Riders. “I don't think so Kouta. Although I do want to know why we're here as well,” Eiji said as they all looked at each other, all of them equally confused. “Um..excuse me?” Twilight said. The six of them turned their heads and went wide eyed at seeing Twilight. “EHHHHH!!??” they all said, there confusion growing as they also noticed Celestia, Luna, and Spike standing behind her. “W-w-what?” Shotaro said. “A talking unicorn, how very thrilling,” Phillip said. “What in the world?” Eiji said. “Ah!!!! That's a unicorn!! And it's purple, and talks!!!!” Gentarou yelled. “Huh!?” Haruto said. Kouta merely stood there completely at a loss for words. Twilight tried stepping towards, only to have them all take a step back. “Who are you!? What is this place!?” Gentarou said. Celestia stepped forward and cleared her throat. “I am Celestia, Co-Ruler of this land Equestria. Are you the champions we have called for?” Celestia asked. They all looked at each other confused before Kouta stepped forward. “Um, white horse thing”. “Celestia if you would be so kind”. “Right. Celestia, what do you mean by champions?” Kouta asked. “Our land is in grave danger. An old foe has brought us to the edge of destruction. We do not have the power on our own the combat her, so we have called five champions here to assist us. We humbly ask for your help, oh brave champions,” Celestia said, bowing to the six of them. They all knew there was six of them, but they didn't want to say anything. The Riders all looked at each other, trying to figure out what to say. When Twilight saw their hesitation, she stepped forward and bowed as well. “Please champions, I beg of you. We need you to wield the Elements of Harmony to aid us in our fight. Please!” Twilight said. The Riders all looked at each other confused. “Elements of Harmony?” Kouta said as he reached in his pocket and brought out the necklace from earlier. When the other Riders saw the necklace, they all brought out their own respective necklaces. Twilight lit up at seeing the Elements. “Yes, that's them. I knew you would be able to help us,” Twilight said as she jumped up and down around the Riders. Haruto put a hand on her head to stop her from jumping. “Woah, hold on a second. We don't know anything about this world or these Elements of Harmony. How do we know you're not just trying to trick us?” Haruto asked. Twilight looked at him in confusion, a hint of sadness in her eyes. “What?” she said. “I agree with Wizard. How do we know you're not just making all this up to get us to fight your war for you,” Shotaro said. Spike ran up to him and kicked him in the shin, causing Shotaro to scream in pain. “Oi! You little...dragon?” he said. “Don't you dare call Twilight a liar you....whatever you are,” Spike said as he lifted his leg to kick him again. Fortunately, Luna pulled him back with her magic. “Now now, let's all just calm down. Miss Twilight, this does all seem rather sudden. I think we need some time to think about this,” Eiji said. Twilight looked at the Riders in shock. Finally, Twilight could take no more. She broke down and cried. The Riders all looked at her confused. “Please, I'm begging you!! You're our last hope!! Chrysalis has teamed up with some weird people called Foundation X. My friends and I tried to stop her, but they were too powerful!! Please, my friends...my friends..they.......” Twilight cried her eyes out. If the Riders refused to help her, then all was lost. Shotaro and Phillip looked at her with utter seriousness “Did you say Foundation X?” said Shotaro. “Yes. Chrysalis, an old enemy of ours, has teamed up with this Foundation X to take over this land. Do you know of them?” Celestia said as Spike tried to comfort Twilight. Shotaro balled his fist in rage and punched a wall. “Those Foundation X bastards! I thought we'd seen the last of them,” Shotaro said with rage. Celestia and Luna backed away before Phillip cleared his throat and stepped forward. “I believe I can shed some light on this subject. Foundation X is an evil organization from our world. They have been the main cause behind many evil deeds. Using the Earth's memories to make Gaia Memories to turn people into Dopants, bringing the dead back to life, and funding the research into Astro Switches, Core Medals, and countless other things. They're merchants of death,” Phillip said, gripping his book in rage. Celestia and Luna looked shocked at Phillip's explanation of Foundation X's practices. Shotaro walked over to the crying Twilight. Spike shot him a glare, but was surprised at what Shotaro did next. He took off his hat and placed it on Twilight's head. “Dry your tears Twilight, we will help you,” Shotaro said. Twilight looked up at him, eyes stained with tears. “You..you'll help us? Really?” she said hopefully. Shotaro nodded “If Foundation X is causing other to shed tears, then I will kick their asses! This may not be Fuuto, but I refuse to let anyone of you cry,” Shotaro said as he adjusted his vest. Phillip stood next to his partner with a serious look on his face. “I agree. We won't let Foundation X have their way anymore,” Phillip said, earning a smile from his partner. “Me too. If Foundation X is the cause behind all of this, then I'll do whatever I can to stop them,” Eiji said. Gentarou shook with rage as he let out a loud yell “AAGGHHH!!! Those punks!! How dare they mess with friendship!!!!!! I'll kick their asses!!!!!” Gentarou said as he walked over to Twilight. “Oi, purple horse, don't you worry. Kisaragi Gentarou is here to help,” Gentarou said as he proceeded to do his trademark friendship handshake with Twilight, albeit with some difficulty considering Twilight had hooves. Haruto looked at one of his rings and turned to Twilight “I wouldn't be much of a final hope if I turned my back on someone in need. I'm in,” he said. “Me too! I don't know much about this Foundation X, but if they're anything as bad as Yggdrasil, then I'm not gonna let them have their way!” Kouta said. The Riders all gathered around Twilight and extended their hands. “You have our support Twilight. We will help you in any way we can,” Shotaro said. Twilight looked at the Riders in a mixture of happiness and disbelief. These people, who have never met her before or knew anything about her world, were willing to put their lives on the line to help her. These six people were true heroes. Twilight found her eyes welling up with tears again “Thank you! Thank you so much!!” Twilight said, tears flowing. Celestia went up to her and gave her a comforting hug. After calming down her former student she looked at the Riders and smiled. “Equestria thanks you brave champions. If I may ask, what should we call you?” Celestia asked. All of them smiled. “We're the heroes of justice,” Shotaro said. “The heroes of peace,” Phillip. “The protectors of all worlds,” Eiji said. “Protectors of the innocent,” Gentarou said. “The final hope for those without any,” Haruto said. “The final defense against all evil,” Kouta said. All the Riders stood in a line and held up their respective transformation items. Shotaro and Phillip with their Gaia Memories, Eiji with a Core Medal, Gentarou with an Astro Switch, Haruto with one of his rings, and Kouta with a Lock Seed. “We're Kamen Riders!” they all said in unison. Twilight, Celestia, Luna, and Spike looked at the six in awe. Finally, Celestia said “Well then, brave Kamen Riders, prepare yourselves. For soon, we take back Canterlot!” The Kamen Riders agree to aid Equestria in their fight against Chrysalis and Foundation X. Will they succeed? Find out next time, on Battle for Equestria!
