The Apple family were prepare for dinner. Big Mac was grilling some corn on the cob and hey steaks, Applejack was making some apple sauce and biscuits with help from Comet tails.
" Listen sugar cube, i think you should tell the rest of the family the truth... tonight." Applejack said in the mother like tone she naturally possessed. The silver coated filly looked up worried.
"But I'm not ready." She pleaded silently. "I need more time."
"Trust me the longer you stick to a lie, the harded it becomes to tell the truth." Applejack explained calmly and nurturing sensing the filly's fear.
"But this is not a lie, its a secret." She argued trying to change the orange mares mind.
"A secret like this don't do any pony any good. You're real mothers are worried for you and your cousin. If your keeping a secret that is hurting others its as bad a telling a lie." Applejack explained.
"Oh I didn't know." Comet Tails sadly said.
"Oh this aint your fault sugar cube, I know you must be scared but i'll be there to help tell the truth if you need it." Applejack comforted her as she trembled with worry.
"Thank you Applejack." Comet tails smile tears in her eyes
"Aw sucks. Your welcome." Applejack said as she gave comet tails a pat on the back.
"What if they send me away to a dungeon? What if they hand me over to.." Comet tails said panicking.
"They wont trust me." Applejack promised. they resumed cooking.
"Can i at least talk to my cousin about it first." She asked
"Sure you can. now lets finish cooking."

Soon all the cooking was done.
"Soups on granny." Applejack called for the old green mare.
"Eeyup." Big mag agreed as he carried food to the table.
"Hold your horses, you two. Golden blaze and Applebloom are still washing up." Granny smith called from her rocker. "Speaking of which, Where are those young whipper snappers?"
"I'll go get them." Comet tails said galloping up the stairs. 
"Thank you Silver mist." Granny smith called after her.
Comet tails finally met Applebloom and Eclipse (who was posing as Golden blaze) in the bath room. Both fillies noticed her as she stepped in the room.
"Hey silver mist. I'm sorry about what happened earlier. Diamond tiara and Silver spoon can be big jerks." Apple bloom apologized.
"Don't worry about it, but i have to tell you something, Applejack found out i was an alicorn. I think we need to tell the truth." She said hanging her head sadly
"No way I will not be taken back to a cell!" Eclipse snapped. "We all promised to keep this a secret!"
"I know Eclipse, but Applejack said a secret like this is as bad as a lie." Comet tails said sadly.
"That sounds like something my sis would say, being the element of honesty and all." Applebloom said off topic.
"Well I'm not going to dinner! I won't take any chances!  We should never had come to live here." Eclipse muttered darkly.
"But what are you going to do? she knows we're alicorns." Comet tails asked.
"I'll run away, and if you know whats best for you, you will run away with me too." Eclipse said storming out of the room... 

Deep down Comet tails knew she shouldn't run away, but she couldn't leave Eclipse alone so she followed her out the back door. Applebloom said she wouldn't say a thing until tomorrow morning this was easier said then done.
