//------------------------------// // the winner // Story: Jumanji in Equestria // by PressStart //------------------------------// Ado crashed into Roseluck's place. The wind seems to not want to enter the house. "We need to finish the game! This is only going to get worse!" Colgate yelled. "Are you alright, Ado?" Roseluck asked, worried about the dragon she now held as a friend. "I rolled doubles, where are the dice?" Flitter said quickly. Roseluck got more worried when Ado didn't even grunt. "Ado? Ado! Ado, are you okay?" Roseluck starts panicking looking around for help. "I dunno. You didn't see where they went?" asks Colgate. "They have to be here somewhere..." Flitter said looking around. Fleur went up to Ado and put her ear to his chest. Roseluck didn't even see Fleur sigh in relief. Instead Fleur hugged Roseluck and said, "I'm sorry." Roseluck just sobbed into Fleur's chest. "Are they- No, that's not them..." Colgate says, also searching for the dice. "Flitter! Colgate! Stop this instant!" Fleur shouted. Flitter and Colgate stops and sees Roseluck sobbing in Fleur's chest. Colgate sees her crying friend and immediately joins the hug. "What's wrong?" Colgate asked concerned for Roseluck. Flitter doesn't budge an in for she was in shock. She had no idea that Ado wouldn't survive the landing. "Ado is dead." Fleur said answering Colgate's question. Roseluck cries harder as the words are actually spoken aloud. Colgate shuts her eyes and hums a soft tune to Roseluck. Flitter then saw the dice in Ado's lifeless hand. She forced herself to pick it up and she stared at the dice. Colgate noticed that Flitter found the dice, but what she noticed mostly was that Flitter was crying as well. "DAMN IT!" Flitter shouted and threw the dice in a random direction. Roseluck finally speaks quietly, "This game... when it's finished... burn it." "Agreed..." Flitter said in a pissed tone. Colgate just nods her head slightly, holding her friend close and comforting her. Flitter noticed that her piece was moving and stopped with three spaces left. "More poisonous than the first, for a single bite, can even kill an elephant..." Flitteread out loud. "Ugh, I don't think Roseluck's in the mood for another one right now." Colgate said. "Roseluck, we are finishing this game now. So we can burn it afterwards." Flitter said firmly. She just keeps crying into Fleur's chest. Colgate looks at Flitter sadly. "I meant another challenge. She's already lost a friend to them. Let's hope I roll high enough to end the game..." Colgate said. "I only need a three for my next turn." Flitter said looking at the game. "Yeah. I need, what, a seven?" Colgate asks, looking at the board as well. "Fleur needs a five and Roseluck needs a eleven." Flitter said next. "So any one of us could finish the game this round, except for you because you just went." Colgate said. "True and I officially hate spiders." Flitter said with a bummed out look. "Spiders are so disgusting and unclean. It bothers me." Colgate said in disgust. Roseluck stands up and walks over to Ado before sitting down again, hanging her head over his neck. "Yeah that's not what I meant when I said that I officially hate spiders." Flitter said pointing to the Ado sized hole in the wall. Spiders were entering into the house. "I have had just enough." Fleur said And then levitated a chair. Fleur then started to wack the spiders with the chair. "Good idea, Fleur," said Colgate as she grabbed a chair with her magic and started smacking spiders. "He... he saved us..." Roseluck says quietly, still crying. Flitter embraced Roseluck in a tight hug. "We have to finish this game. I'm upset that he's dead as well." Flitter said then grabbed the chair that Colgate had with her magic. "It's your turn Colgate, roll!" Flitter said firmly as she started to smack the spiders. "Alright!" Colgate called back as she rolled the dice. "I hope we get to give him a proper burial. But he was conjured by the game... What's going to happen to him after we finish it?" Roseluck asked sadly, still sobbing every now and then. "Don't..." Flitter said bringing the chair down on a spider's head, "know." The dice landed on a four, but no doubles and the piece stopped one space from the end. "Oh COME ON!!" Colgate yells before grabbing Fleur's chair with her magic. "Your turn, Fleur. I don't even care what the text says this time." Colgate said firmly. Suddenly Colgate was stuck and she looks at the text. if you are having that sinking feeling It's just because the floor is quicker than quicksand Flitter gave Fleur her chair and flew over to Colgate. She started to tug her free, but when Colgate was only a head above the floor it suddenly harded. "What happened?" Flitter asked confused. "I did my turn that's what. An error occurred on the last turn, to reverse the affects, will be no feat." Fluer replied then a spider bit her and Fleur screamed in panic. "A little help? Please?" Colgate asked panicking. "Roseluck, do your turn, quickly, Fleur needs help." Flitter shouted at the upset mare. Roseluck casually grabbed the dice and flung them over her shoulder towards the board. Flitter, with her hooves stuck on the ground, looked at the text. "When things shake or quake, the ground begins to break." Flitter said And the spiders started to run away and the ground beneath them split open. Fleur fell to the ground and Colgate teleported to Fleur who now felt cold. "Fleur! Are you okay?" Colgate asked upset. Fleur stayed completely still and didn't make a sound. "Flitter! Get over here, quick!" Colgate yelled. Flitter rushed over to Colgate, after flying over the large gaping crack in the ground. "I don't know what's wrong with her!" Colgate said as she grabbed the board and dice with her magic, setting them down in front of Flitter, "But I think it'll be fixed if we finish the game." Flitter touched Fleur's backleg and revealed the spider bite. "Oh, no..." Flitter said And Roseluck turned her attention to Fleur. "Flitter, listen to me. It's your turn. Roll the dice. We need to finish the game," Colgate said calmly, although she was shaking slightly. An expression of pure rage and sadness covered Roseluck's face. Flitter slowly picked up the dice and stared. "I hope that I get a three." Flitter said And rolled the dice. The timberwolf walked in and stared at The mares. Flitter glanced down and watched as the peice moved onto the orb and a single word appeared. "Jumanji?" Flitter whispered that Roseluck and Colgate couldn't hear. "Jumanji!" Flitter yelled as the Timberwolf pounced at Flitter and stopped in midair. Wind howled and the mares closed their eyes hopping for the intense wind to stop. Once it stopped Flitter opened her eyes and saw the room perfectly fine, like when the game first began. Roseluck and Colgate was also in the room. Then Fleur busted inside the house with a very firm look. "Don't... roll... those... dice!" Fleur said firmly and the other three mares saw Flitter had the dice in her hooves. Colgate lifts the dice with her magic and gently sets them off to the side. Roseluck looks up with anger in her eyes. "Burn it..." Roseluck says. Flitter lights a fire outside and throws the game in.
