The next day ran by Really fast Lyra's mind was scarred by what she witnessed The night before.
She was so scarred that she could play her lyre properly and didn't get as much money as she usually receives
The whole day she had a aura of fear circle her she was easily startled by every little thing she saw and sounds carried a
heavy tone to them.
Lyra was not thinking straight and needed some peace and quite she got of the bench and put on her green saddlebag
and trotted of to the Everfree forest. Normally no pony in their right mind would ever step foot in the Everfree It was covered in wild animals and no pony really had a reason to be in there but perhaps Zacora and some royal guards, But ever since
Lyra Heart about humans living here brought a sort of "Lyra-affect" on her.She made sure she was not followed or watch
the everfree was rather quiet even regular animals of Equestria stayed clear of this forest.
But Lyra was not afraid,She knew that if humans managed to live in there so can pony,She was not going to live in there she was going to search;she was going to search for any trace of human life in the everfree even if it meant risking her own life.

The EverFree was a Dark scary forest Everytree loomed over her and covered the trees in a shroud of darkness and gloom
She armed herself with a wooden stick raised in a green glow and a let horn admitting a yellow glow.
The trees Creaked left and right almost as if they were telling her to turn back and go home and forget all about her quest.
But it did not affect her she held out her map of what she was looking for Inside the book she got from twilight's library
The map was somewhat outdated but nothing really happens in the Everfree so nothing should have changed.
Lyra was looking for some sort of abandoned camp that the humans used to use before the "Extinction" .
Lyra knew it exist, it had to exist, it maybe the last strand of humanity in equestria.

Lyra's hoofs felt sore after trotting in the cold mud puddles by now she was so deep into the forest it may take days to even
find her way back out.as she entered a grove in the forest she looks up at the clear dark sky the moonlight shone over the forest and the cool breeze drifted across her mane.She heard in the distant the sound of a owl.her front hoof shook and she collapsed across the ground she was cold, and hungry.and needed some well deserved rest. she remembered she packed a case of donuts from Sugercube corner and a warm blanket from home she opened the cardboard box to a variety of different colored donuts of different flavors she picked up a chocolate flavored Doughnut and took a large bite into it.
Just as she was about to take another bite She heard a roar from bush further ahead,along with a dark shadow jumping out from behind the trees; A Manticore.
The Angry,and hungry manticore let of a giant roar that shook the mighty trees. As the manticore began to charge at her she knew she could defend from it she held the stick she has been carrying in front of her in hopes to block the on coming train of a manticore she figured that it would no longer work she dropped the stick and attempted to flee leaving the donuts and the blanket behind.
After Galloping at top speed for ten minutes the saddlebag started to feel heavy but she still ran, she would stop, she couldn't not if it meant encountering that monster again. Not watching where she was going she tripped over a rock and fell
face first on the ground. she couldn't get up she was much to tired her eyes started to sway and she started to lose focus and blacked out.

It was only in dreams this happened. most ponies forgot about their dreams when they woke up but Lyra, Lyra never forgot she clung to her dreams more then she clung to anything else in life they were her only source of knowing about humans
to this day she could never understand how she could have dreams about something she never saw, But this dream,
she kept having this dream over and over. every time she had this dream it became more and more focused.
This time she was dreaming she was sitting on a bench(in her normal human fashion) with her lyre and sitting on the ground were humans of all ages some full grown some were being carried and looked no older then a foal.
She was playing a melody a song she heard when she was little she played it often and everyone loves it and humans do too, The were slamming their "hands" together to the beat as if they were "clapping" smiles on their faces.
Then suddenly their smiles turned to frowns they were turning, in the distance stood ponies royal guards with angry looks
on their faces and in the group of ponies stood two larger ponies; Princess Celestia, and princess Luna both fully armored
but with less angrier faces on them.Lyra looked back at the humans who were now fully standing they loomed over the ponies in size to her left stood a child human with a horn . the child blew the horn with little trouble as Lyra looked back at the humans in font of her they were all holding thing sharp blades, clubs ,and rocks. in the distance the unicorns held rocks above their heads and pegasi in the air held rocks between their hooves, the earth ponies held nothing as Celestia and Luna also held nothing.
As the horn stopped blowing the humans began advancing step by step Lyra tried to stop one of the humans to see something truly disturbing. He had no face, no eyes no mouth, just blank. the human held no expression, not that he could
and soon time froze everything stood still the sped up like a time lapse.Lyra however couldn't move she stood their and watched the carnage play out. The humans were vastly outnumbered but still stood their ground.
it was quite clear the humans were going to loose. finally she was able to move her head she turned behind her only to see something truly disturbing; more humans at least twenty more and leading them was a true monster; Discord, lord of chaos
after about ten minutes the humans were overrun and no more stood on top of the pile of humans stood Celestia, clearly
tired after the fight.
In merely a single blink she was back in the Everfree,no, something was different she was in the everfree that was for sure
but she was still human,yes, she was dreaming. This time she was in some sort of camp tents stood all across a field
and a large tent in the middle there were not a lot of humans, she was happy however that they could see her this time but,
they were not happy they were sad,scared they hit in corner some holding children tightly.
"What's wrong" Lyra said with confusion in her voice.
A young human looking about seven replied "this is the day Celestia hunts us to extinction"
Lyra's heart sank, now was her chance to get a explanation.
"Why does prin- Celestia want us dead?" she asked
"I do not know" the child said
Suddenly among the large trees a flare of light lit the sky in a bloody red.
Lyra felt she couldn't move again, she fell over and her eyes fell shut.
She opened her eyes to a sight most amazing she was exactly where she was before once a human
and now a pony again she felt well rested she stood up and looked at where she was the sun rose over the trees and shone over the camp.
It was abandoned.
