I woke up at Rainbow's bedside, I looked up and saw her looking at me contently with a smile on her face I got up and looked away to hide my blushing face but she saw it and giggled. We talked about a lot of things during her time in the hospital but that didn't stop us from talking about our unborn child.
"Grey?"
"Yeah, what is it?"
"I was wondering if we could come up with a name for our child in advance."
"OK what did you have in mind?"
"if it is a colt...I mean a boy I wonder if his name could be what your name used to be?"
"Draven?"
"Yeah, and if it is a girl .......well what do you think?"
"Rose.....Rose-Petal Dash."
"I love it."
"Me too"
"What would you like for a boys name?"
"Light-speed dash."
"No!!!"
"What's wrong."
"That's... It's nothing....I just never thought I'd hear that name again."
"O I get it.....Draven is fine."
The next day Grey and rainbow went to the hospital to see how their child was doing, as it turned out it was going to be a girl and the doctor believed she was going to be a Nephelim as well. After hearing the news they went to tell their friends about the new addition to their family, they also asked each of them to be a god-mother to the child and although their responses varied the answer was all the same.
"Why I would love to be a godmother to your child darling" said rarity
"Awe shucks I don't know what to dash..........sure it'd be an honor to be your daughters godmother" replied AJ
"*gasp* Yay" said pinkie
"I-I i'd love to" said Fluttershy
"I'd be happy to be your daughter's godmother...... on one condition."
"what's that?"
"Spike becomes her godfather"
" I don't see any problems with that."
After all of their confirmations we started to plan for the wedding, which was to be in less than a month. We had Pinkie pie take care of the Bachelorette party then I gave dusk a call to hold the bachelor party and to be my best-man. I asked spike to be the ring bearer while Rainbow dash asked sweetie-belle to be the flower-girl, then she asked all the girls to be her brides-maids including Bcootaloo as the maid of honor. We both agreed that Celestia was the best person to do the ceremony, And using my magical abilities I designed a dress that fit her perfectly and to her specifications (Not to frilly and Not to Eye drawing) rarity was a little awe-struck at my work and had to ask what spell I used I just told her that I imagined in my head and put the fabrics together just like she did, but I added a few speculations that was all.
The ceremony was going to take place in Cloudsdale, and don't get me wrong it did but after a few events transpired. The ceremony was just days away and we had made plans to stay in separate hotels for the week( A method I learned about on earth watching television.) I was about to go down to the bar for the bachelor party when a letter came through the bottom of the door I opened the letter and recognized the handwriting immediately it was Twilight's.
the letter read:
Grey bad things are happening Rainbow's father has escaped prison and is gunning for both you and her if he's caught wind of the ceremony he is going to try and ruin it that is why were going to let him...…..I know what your thinking; it is a crazy idea but there's more and if he tries to hurt her you will do whatever it takes to protect her and that is what will make you the perfect father.

I ran Twilight's room and she opened the door, pulled me in, explained everything, and told me not to tell Rainbow. I swore not to and ran back to my room and prepared for the battle that was to come and that included making plans to protect Rainbow.
The day of the ceremony came and I looked calm but underneath I was so scared of what was about to happen that it started to f**k with my head a little but none the less I could feel a presence of pure evil watching me. Especially since I was in the audience and Soarin was taking my place and every line he said was all a lie. (I know I'm not supposed to "see" Rainbow till the actual ceremony so I bet your wondering why I'm here and how this isn't going to kill me. Well I'm actually wearing a blind fold and having near super-human hearing I can almost see a clear picture around me also this is a rehearsal and whenever I rehears I practice with Fluttershy so that we don't see each other till the ceremony.)
"Grey do you take Rainbow Elizabeth Dash to be your lawfully wedded wife through sickness and health till death do you part?"
"I do"
"Any objections speak now or forever hold your peace."
"I object" came an unfamiliar voice to most but to Rainbow Dash it was all to familiar.
"Light-speed?"
"Hello sweetheart. Excuse me but Isn't the father of the bride supposed to give his blessing to the groom before he marries her, and isn't it also the father's job to give away his daughter?"
"That would be the case if said father wasn't a criminal offender!!" screamed Rainbow Dash
"I think it's time you were punished Rainbow Dash?
"Oh you mean like how you punished mom?!?"
"Exactly." he said as he lunged towards her with a knife
The knife drew blood but not from Rainbow but instead from Soarin as the knife was stabbed into his arm and was now being pulled out. "So...you're the one who has become my daughters new boyfriend that's too bad looks like she has to watch you die!!" he said as he attempted to plunge the knife through his hand which was guarding his chest. The knife chipped and I was so glad that I lent him a spare hand. it was then i stood up in the back of the aisle and screamed at him...."Hey douche bag" he turned to face me "you got the wrong one!!" he ran towards me and I moved out of the way and told everyone to get into the Gazebo. Once they did I managed to create a force field before he tackled me from behind and stabbed me in the shoulder dislocating my left arm.
I ripped off my jacket and revealed a near arsenal knowing I could not use most of it now that my arm was messed up I removed it all save for two swords. I tossed one to him and he threw away the knife; he lunged first and all I did was move out of the way and knocked him him on top of the head with the side of the blade, that was when he got really pissed he swung to my right and clipped my side. I tripped him then roundhouse kicked him into the table he got up and started to speed up I will admit he was strong and fast but I had taken worse beatings than this and he was doing nothing but swinging through rage I I kicked him away and I saw something in his eyes almost like a spark I couldn't tell what he was thinking.
I saw him smile in a way I only see in the criminally insane he ran at me and I got ready to block instead he slid under me taking out my knee. I realized what he was going to the force field and in one swipe he destroyed it I would never let him hurt the people I care so dearly about he jabbed at RD but at the last second I jumped in between her and the life ending blade and caught the blade in my hands and screamed at him.
"Do you really want to end three lives?"
"what the huh"
"Your going to have a granddaughter"
"have you forgotten something?"
"huh"
"I'm a murdering psychopath"
"then I have no reason to hold back "
"Huh"
I kicked him off and away with my good leg and stood up weakly using what strength I had left I grabbed my sword and asked princess Celestia If I could kill this son of a bitch.
"Of course he was next on death row when he escaped"
I lunged and used my wings to my advantage, being much bigger my wings allowed me much more speed than necessary. He saw me coming and I could swear he pissed himself with fear I stopped in front of him and pulled out a gun from my belt and pointed it directly at his forehead and said "any last words ?"
"yeah rainbow you've got yourself a fine man here and I hope you're willing to watch him die"
He jabbed at my gut and using a lot of adrenaline I stopped it with my left hand then I pulled the trigger sending him to oblivion. My vision became blurred and I collapsed I could hear Rainbow and Scootaloo calling out to me but I was to weak to answer....then everything went black.
