I’m Luna
After the drive home which I must say felt like an eternity I took notice the Uni-Pega Pony was twisting and turning in the passenger seat as I drove. As I arrived home I lifted the slumbering mare into my hands and locked the car doors. I used my free hand to unlock the door and I gently, cautiously used my back to push the door in trying not to make any sudden movements to awake her. I kicked the door close behind me and start to head towards the bedroom. I had left the lights on before I left so my home was still very well illuminated, I already had come to terms that the light bill was gonna fuck me.
I didn't have a guest bedroom that room was my office with all my games then my setup. So it was either the couch or the bed. I decided on the bed. I went to my room and carefully ever so carefully rested it on the bed. I turn the fan only to keep the room a nice crisp cool environment. But before I could leave the room to my kitchen to get a drink. The pony spoke out
“Celestia. mmm I’m its opening” I was shell shocked from what I just heard. A million thoughts raced through my mind like she speaks perfect english and who the hell is the Celestia? I left the room immediately.
“I think I have had enough with all these magical horses” I talk to myself as I rub my forehead wiping the sweat from it. When I get to my fridge I pop open a can of Mountain Dew and take long deserving gulp. I walked out of the kitchen and sat down on the couch and started to process the events that have happened. As I noticed how crazy I sounded I knew it was gonna get even more crazy when the damn pony woke up. How am I gonna explain how it got here. Well it even understand me. What happens if someone found out I was harboring a Magical flying pony in my home. Ugh!
I started to stress out but I was interrupted with a loud growl from my stomach. I went back to the fridge and my fingers wrap against the handle of my refrigerator but before I could even get a little snack. I'm yet again interrupted.
“Hello there... creature d-do you understand me” My heart sank, I started to sweat and I was frozen stiff. I didn't answer for a while, but I slowly turned around and looked at pony. She was finally awakened.
“um. Hi. I see you are finally up.” I hope I played it off I thought to myself. She squinted at me and her horn started to glow in a blue aura. I backed up against my refrigerator, and though this might be the end. This wasn't the cause thankfully for an instant the aura faded. She look back up at me with her big sky blue eyes.
“Do not worry, I can sense you are scared.” She looks down and frowns.
“I am too.” I didn't think and slowly knelt down toward her placing my hand on her shoulder.
“Don't worry it is gonna be ok. Trust me” Her frown did a one eighty degree flip and turned into light smile. “Thank you, I am Princess Luna. You may call me Luna.”
losing all sense of weariness, or anxiousness I extend my arm and held out my hand. “I am Michael, its nice to meet the first of your kind.” She held out her hoof and we did a pony version of a handshake.
“Want to set on the couch and we get better acquainted with this turn of events.” She nodded and we take our seats and sat for a bit in silence.
“Well why don't I cut to the chase and ask you Luna, why are you here?” I said breaking the silence. Luna to a deep sigh and I could tell she was trying to remember.
“My thoughts are clouded and all I can remember was the portal that my sister and i had found down in the sanctums of our castle. Something happened and now I am here.” I know this is getting trying but I was even more shocked about this information.
“I dont know what to say. I never had experience of getting lost in an alternate dimension.” She let out a small chuckle make a smile form on my face.
“Why you tell me about where I have been teleported to. I have no clue the identity of my location.”
“Well.... You are on a planet named Earth. A planet inhabited by many organisms but the most cognitive and complex is my kind. Human. We are advance species, sadly though with all our advance knowledge and culture we are a warlike people.” She looked distraught at when I said war. As if she had never heard of the word be for.
“Are you ok, did I say something”
“Why do you humans engage in war.” She asked as if she was that little kid you know who is fascinated with almost everything he doesn't understand.
“Well we fought for land, resources, if we didn't like one another, oh and religion.” She looked mortified.
“How could those even be reasons to engage in such a devious action.” I shrugged.
“Ask our leaders of nations, why so surprised don't you have war where you are from.”
“No not at all, Our land is peaceful and shines with laughter and smiles. There is no contamination of racism or murder.” I looked at her and all I could think of is “wow” it must be beautiful there, better then this shit hole Earth.
“Well your world sounds nice.” She smiled once again and stood up and headed to the door. I got worried and raced to the door blocking her from leaving.
“Why are blocking my exit. Let me leave.” She started to get in a defensive stance.
“Wait, wait. You cant leave. I might be generous and take you in but other people will be startled and call the authorities. When the police shop hope the government gets involved and when that happens... Lets just say you’ll end up in a laboratory with scientist poking tools inside your stomach.” She frowned.
“Where am I suppose to go?” She asked desperate. “What am I suppose to do then how will my sister find me?”
“I-I don't know but you should stay here, I have no problem taking care for you.”
“Thank you Michael. I take it that is my only opinion.” She seemed to grow depression.
“Luna let me show you around.” With that I walked away from the door and Luna followed me with her face showing a frown and her in deep thought.
