Later that night, was the Ponyville Hearts and Hooves Day School Dance. The dance was being held at Sugar Cube Corner. Everypony was having fun until Diamond Tiara walked in with Lickity Split.
"Attention everypony, we have arrived", announced Diamond
"Unfortunately", added Silver Spoon walking in with Snips
Diamond Tiara was wearing a purple satin dress. Silver Spoon was wearing a blue lace dress with a blue bow in her mane. Everypony started staring at their dresses.
"Wow Diamond, nice dress", complimented Zipperwhill
"Thanks", replied Diamond "These were made by Suri Polomare"
"Oooooh", awed the foals
Suddenly, they stopped staring at Diamond and Silver and looked at the door.
"Why are they not staring at us?!", asled Diamond
"Because they're staring at them", explained Silver pointing to the door
At the door were the crusaders with their dates.
"Nice dresses", complimented Twist
"Thanks", replied Sweetie Belle "They were made by my sister Rarity"
"Ooooooh", awed the foals
Suddenly, the music came on, and the foals ran to the dance floor. Diamond and Silver glared at them.
"You better hope Im Hearts and Hooves Queen", threatened Diamond
Everypony started dancing, until a slow song came on. So everypony went to their dates and started to dance. Sweetie Belle was standing alone until Button walked up to her.
"Wanna dance, my princess?", asked Button
"I'd love to", replied Sweetie Belle blushing
They started dancing for a couple minutes until Cheerilee walked up the stage.
"Attention everypony", announced Cheerilee "It's time to announce the Hearts and Hooves court"
Everypony started to cheer until Cheerilee silenced them.
"Now our king and queen are…BUTTON MASH AND SWEETIE BELLE", announced Cheerilee
"What?", said Sweetie Belle suprised
"WHAT?!", yelled Diamond
Everypony started to cheer. Diamond turned to Silver.
"Get the bucket ready", ordered Diamond
Silver saluted and walked off.
"Sweetie Belle and Button Mash, come get your crowns", said Cheerilee
Sweetie Belle and Button walked on stage. Cheerilee put a red and gold crown on Button and a diamond tiara with a ruby heart in the center on Sweetie Belle. Everypony started to cheer. But little did they know, Silver was backstage. She pulled a rope, which made a bucket of water drop on Sweetie Belle. Everypony gasped except Diamond and Silver. They started to laugh. Sweetie Belle ran out crying while dropping her tiara.
"I'll take that", said Diamond picking up the tiara and putting it on her head.
"DIAMOND TIARA AND SILVER SPOON", yelled Cheerilee
"Yes Miss Cheerilee?", asked Diamond and Silver nervously
"Take that tiara off and leave this dance", ordered Cheerilee
"But…but", said Diamond
"NO BUTS, LEAVE NOW", yelled Cheerilee
Diamond took the tiara off, and gave it to Cheerilee
"Yes Miss Cheerilee", said Diamond and Silver walking away
"And I'll see you too in detention after school on Monday", said Cheerilee
Diamond and Silver walked out. Everypony went back to dancing.
"C'mon Scootaloo", said AB "We gotta go help Sweetie Belle"
"Don't worry, I got this", said Button
He grabbed the tiara from Cheerilee and ran out the door to look for Sweetie Belle.
