	3 years..... 3 Years of endless suffering, lost loved ones, lost friends, lost memories, lost everything. It all happened so fast, like it was a dream. The first contact we get from an intelligent species and they are hostile. They seemed to only want blood, not only ours, but the blood of all creatures of earth. 

All was lost and everything Man has struggled to create, was destroyed. The last human you saw was about a year ago, their face was of one who had their humanity stripped. Like a hollow from Dark souls, a game you loved so much. Loneliness consumed you, you never even had a girlfriend, and that only fueled the lust for companionship.

You hid from the invaders as best you could but you knew that one day, they will find you. And so they did but the what happened, became a blur like the trauma of seeing them was too much for you to handle. But now, there was only darkness. Are you dead? Is this what death is like? 

You see light, feel the warmth, and feel the happiness. You didn't believe in God and the afterlife, but hoped you were wrong for the sake of others. The light was getting stronger and the heat was more intense, you hadn't felt that in years as the sun was blocked from all the ash on Earth. Driven to see your family once more and to finally be at peace, you tried to go toward the light faster. But this feels strange? Like this isn't how you get to Heaven.

"Wait!!!? Am I falling?" you think as more of your senses kick in. The wind blowing heavily in your face. The smell of trees and the outdoors. Wait? Trees!?!? Something's very off. Earth was scorched into ash and you don't fall to heaven!? Well its a win win situation, you survive the fall and see what awaits you in this new world. Or you die on impact and see your family. Unless this is hell! But hell doesn't have trees, or you don't think so. Back to the problem at hand, your falling, and fast!

With nothing else to do you decide to have fun, you never went sky diving and this probably the last chance you get at this. A couple of front flips here and a couple rolls there. You are genuinely having fun, the first feeling of happiness in many years. In your bliss, you don't see the ground closing in, and the awfully close cloud layer. Still enjoying yourself, you turn around and fall with you back towards the ground, unaware how close the clouds are to you. Immediately after you turn around, you lose your breath as you slam into the clouds on your back. Not realizing how hard these clouds are and damaging your back.  Your descent is slowed down dramatically but still hitting the ground would probably kill you.

The next sensation you feel catches you off guard, WATER!! Sinking deeper as your energy from the fall propels you downward. Not sure what to do as the pain from the impact with the clouds and water paralyzes you, you panic and flail you arms about, legs not responding. You feel a pull, weather it was up or down you can't tell, but you let it take you. It felt like minutes pass as you get dragged somewhere by something but then your sight begins to return. A light and a figure are in your vision, blurry as hell but they are there. And then, Air! Sweet ,Sweet Air! Gasping like a fish out of water(funny as you were just in the water), you begin to feel more tired. Something is talking but you don't listen as your body tells you to sleep, And so you do. You don't argue as you always loved sleep. Actually you can never get enough as you always feel tired when you wake up, now matter how long you slept for. 

In your sleep you hear more voices but everything is slightly muffled. You can only hear a few words and realize there are several voices.

"I wonder what...."

"I don't know....... hurt"

"Oh, I hope......"

"Don't worry F......... be fine. It just needs...."

Their voices stop. But after what seems like an eternity, you wake up with pain all over. Like a switch, all you senses turn back on, light brighter than an atomic explosion from 40 miles away, a smell of a what you remember to be from a zoo. A slight Iron taste in your mouth and nothing but silence. As your vision returns you start to notice the things in the room you are in, the sofa which holds your injured body, Wooden furniture, bird cages, a rug in the middle of the room, Stairs next to you, and round windows. All you haven't seen since..... meh, doesn't matter right now. Which begs the question, where the hell are you?

Can't be on Earth, too...... Alive, Heaven wouldn't have you in so much pain and hell, you'll be in much more pain. Then you realize, The Voices! They were familiar, but you can't quite fit your finger on it. That finger probably being broken from the impact with the water, but it still bugged you. You hear voices coming closer from a door which seems to lead to a kitchen, you eagerly await to see your saviors. But then a couple questions fill your mind, are they friendly, do they speak English? Idiot!!! They are speaking right now, of course the speak English. Then the voices come closer, and something comes out of the doorway. You can't tell what it is at first, but then it hits you like a train. A Hoof!! A purple hoof!!!

The inner Brony in you is screaming at you in delight! Equestria! Ponies! Friendship! Magic! An end to your suffering! Peace! Your heart is pounding as you wonder who is at the door! Twilight Sparkle! Followed by Rainbow Dash and FlutterShy!!! Fucking FlutterShy!!! You visibly smile at them and cry a bit. Not because you see cartoon ponies, but because all your suffering will end and you are finally safe. The last of your kind(you think?), you survived extinction and this was your reward.But why you? Why not your friend, your nephew who wasn't even 3, your mom or dad, a random person who deserved it more than you.You don't dwell on this because you wouldn't want to sadden these pure creatures.

Twilight approaches you and you mentally prepare yourself for a new onslaught, an onslaught of.... QUESTIONS!!!!! 

Dun Dun DUN!!!!! You laugh at yourself as even a couple hours(or you think so) in this world and your almost as happy as you were before the Attack from Mars.(Not Really) She Begins to talk.

"Hi, My name is Twilight Sparkle. Do you understand our language?"

"..." Your mouth opens but nothing comes out. Maybe because you haven't spoken in a really long time. So you nod.

"Oh, it looks like you understand me but you can't speak. I need to ask you some questions about yourself which involve a spoken answer. Mind if my friend FlutterShy here takes a look to see if she can help you?"

"T-thats if it's ok with you?"

As you look to nod yes, you nearly have a heart attack from a cuteness overload. She approaches you to inspect your throat, which is weird, you thought she'd be more... shy. She softly grabs your head as you open your mouth and she looks down you throat. You look over as Rainbow Dash just watches from the doorway, like she never seen FlutterShy doing this. Actually it might be from seeing a human, 'I wonder if she even knows what a human is?'. Fluttershy looks around your throat for about a minute more and finally steps back.

"Oh my! I think your vocal cords are a bit damaged, some tea and rest will help it heal it faster. If you want some tea that is,"

You nod and she trots off for the kitchen. As she leaves Twilight begins to walk towards.

"May I?"

You nod as you open your mouth and a flash of purple blinds you. Your throat begins to itch and you cough.

*cough**cough*"What was that?"

Suprised that Twilight fixed your speech so quickly and the fact that you spoke. Your voice was a bit raspy though.

"Ah, good. It worked. Do you feel well enough to answer some questions now?"

You nod yes as you wouldn't want to disappoint a magical talking pony.

"Great lets get started, what is your name?" as she takes out a note pad and quill with her magic

"No.....Anon"

"So Anon, what is your species called?"

"We call ourselves Humans"

"Interesting, do you know why you were falling from the sky?"

"No. I cant recall anything leading up to the fall"

"Ok, now are you a threat to any of the inhabitants of Equestria, the country you're currently in?"

Wow! She was really blunt with that. Not even 5 questions in and she already thinks you're going to kill everyone here. Can't blame her.

"No"

"Thank you for answering my questions, even while it looks like you're in a lot of pain. But as an intelligent creature like yourself you can understand that we cannot trust you fully. You are the first of your kind to enter this land and we don't know what your intentions are. You seem like a nice person but we cannot trust you just based on that. I would like for you to meet me at my castle once you are well rested so we can discuss further. Oh! In my excitement I forgot to introduce you to Rainbow Dash, the person who got you out of the lake."

"Heya, names Rainbow Dash. No need to thank me for saving you, buuuuuut that only means you owe me a favor."

"Dash!"

"What? I was only kidding!"

You giggle, they are all so innocent just like you remember.

"Thank you Rainbow Dash. Twilight, I understand completely. Once I heal up I will make it to your castle immediately."

Its funny because now you are the alien, in a foreign land. Only now you won't kill everything you see. You shudder as memories of battles with "Them" flood your mind. You quickly brush it off.

"I'm glad to hear you understand. FlutterShy here will take care of you as she is great at taking care of all creatures. You will also be visited by a couple of doctors to see if anything is broken."

"Thank you so much Twilight, it really means a lot to me. I am only a stranger but you still treat me like you would a friend."

"Don't worry about it. I have to go as I have some errands to run, but Rainbow Dash will stay here to lend FlutterShy a hand."

And so she leaves to do whatever she needs to do right now. FlutterShy walks back in with your tea and walks past Rainbow Dash still in the doorway. Rainbow Dash says something about stretching and shes out the door flying away.

"They both left so quickly! Oh well, heres your tea. Sorry for the wait."

"Its ok"

"Oh! You can talk now! Well the tea will help with the soreness. If there is anything else you need, don't be afraid to ask"

"Thank you, I'm good for now. I think once i'm done with this tea I'll just go to sleep"

"Ok, I'll be around so call if you need me"

She walks outside and you reach for your tea on a table next to you. Jeez, that hurts! I thought I was bruised but I think something broken. Anyways the tea is still on your mind. WOW! You never liked tea but this was different! It was perfect! Quickly drinking it, you regret it because now its all gone. Oh well. Time for sleep. Today went better than 

expected.




A Letter to Celestia

Dear Princess Celestia,

The being that landed in the lake discovered by Rainbow Dash seems to be friendly and poses no harm to ponies in his current injured state. Calling himself Anon, he is human and by his looks, he seemed to have had quite the journey. He looks to be very tired and stressed but also very young. He has agreed to meet me at my castle to answer more questions once his injuries heal. I will report my findings on this unknown creature after we meet.
