//------------------------------// // Day 1 // Story: The Chronicles of Bitsy. // by robbieren75 //------------------------------// Meet Bitsy. Yes not the best name but he's still a good pony. Now a little about him. He is a yellow pegasus with a lighter yellow mane and tail that collects coins. His cutiemark is three bits in a triangular fashion. He lives in Ponyville but travels to collect foreign coins from different places around the world. When he visits those places sometimes he gets into trouble and sometimes he leaves peacefully. Either way HE IS NOT A PENNY PINCER!!! so, now on to his life. ***** When I woke up it was a nice morning. The birds were out and about, chirping as they went along. The sun was out, shining brightly against the cloudless blue sky. 'Mhh looks like the whether patrol was out early this morning' I thought to myself. I got out of bed and went to the kitchen to get breakfast. I opened the cabinet and grabbed the honey oats cereal. Then I went to the fridge and grabbed the milk. I poured the milk into the cereal and walked to living room table to begin eating. As I was eating, I looked around the room. 'Its so empty in here. Maybe I should go out later and get some decorations or something.' I thought. I continued to look around when I noticed something wrong. I looked and I saw my coin collection or more like the lack of a coin collection. I spit out my cereal in a spit-take fashion. "What the hay?" I flew around the room and looked for the collection. "Where is it?" I continued searching. "Come on. It was right here." I flew out of the house and patrolled through Ponyville searching every corner, nook and cranny there was. It seemed hopeless but I didn't give up. Then I remembered, I left them in the museum. 'Really?' I thought. I sighed and flew to the museum and brought the coins back home. "I can't believe I left them there." I said to myself. That was a facehoof moment. After I found the coins, I continued with my day doing everything normally. Like my job, as a carpenter. I don't work for a company. I am actually self employed. Business isn't as good but I still make a good living. ***** At work I finished building a chair made of apple wood, a donation from the Apple Family, and sold it to a peagsus named Music Shine who said it was her bird's favorite wood. She paid 40 bits for it and told me it was beautifully made. I thanked her and she left. I sighed, 'another satisfied customer.' Business was slow after that. A few ponies came in to have simple things fixed and one requested a new chair for their house. I told her it would take a couple days to a week to complete it. She said she would come back later then. and she left. It was late so I decided to close up shop for the day. I locked the door and switched the sign to close but didn't leave the store yet. I went down to my work area and began making a cabinet out of Yellow Birch for my new house. As of now all I have are the basic household appliances. I worked on it for about an hour then my stomach growled. 'Oh wow, looks like its time to pack it up' I thought. After I put everything away, I bought some food for dinner from the little restaurant by my house. Dinner consisted of just a lettuce sandwich. Not much, but it still was good. After dinner, I decided to take a self-guided tour of Ponyville. I flew outside into the cool night. Ponyville was fascinating! They have a music store, a bakery, a library, a train station, and even a spa! It was a great flight but I was tired. I knew I had another day to look forward to tomorrow, so I flew home and went to sleep. 'Today was a good day' It thought to myself, right before I fell asleep.
