Sister..please

Sweetie Belle heard a loud crash downstairs. The little unicorn groaned and placed her pillow over her ears. However, it did little to block out the sound of the second crash.

Giving up, Sweetie Belle crawled out of bed and landed onto the plush floor with a thud. After rubbing the sleep from her tired eyes, the filly walked slowly to her door.

When she used her magic to open the door, the little unicorn jumped as she heard another loud crash. Followed by a laugh that made her shiver with fear.

Sweetie Belle took a steady breath before walking down the dark hallway. With every step she took, her little heart beat faster and faster.

Soon when Sweetie Belle came to the staircase, she saw a chair being thrown across the room. It hit the wall with a snap, and splinters of oak wood scattered across the room.

The filly unicorn gulp and started to walk down the stairs.

"I-it's probably just a burglar. I-I'll just see what it wants and then I'll go back to bed." Sweetie whispered to herself.

As the filly was on the last step, she peered around the dull room. Trying to find the culprit.

However what she saw made her let out a whimper in fear. For there stood a unicorn as tall as Celestia. The unicorn was light grey with a sparkly purple mane that flowed like water. It gazed at the little unicorn, her dragon eyes boring into Sweetie Belle's soul. If it wasn't for the similarity in it's cutie mark, Sweetie Belle would've mistaken this for another pony. Never would the filly believe that this was her sister.

"R-Rarity?" Sweetie Bell asked.

The tall unicorn walked elegantly towards the scared filly. A devilish smile appeared on it's face.

"What is your name?" The unicorn asked.

Sweetie Belle cowered under the shadow her sister cast. "I'm Sweetie Belle, Rarity. What happened to you?" The filly questioned, her voice squeaking at the end.

The tall unicorn glared at her. "I am Nightmare Rarity. This..Rarity you speak of is not here."

Sweetie Belle bit her lip as Nightmare Rarity trotted away from her, and walked up to a window.

"Soon darkness will rise again." Nightmare cooed, then she gazed at the scared filly. "And you will accompany Nightmare Rarity on her mission." She stated.

The unicorn filly tried to creep towards the front door. She needed to tell Twilight about this, because Twilight always knew what to do.

However, she was stopped by by Nightmare Rarity's hair. It curled around the filly's front hooves like a snake, stopping her in her tracks.

"Where do you think you're going?" The tall unicorn questioned.

"Um...getting fresh air." Sweetie Belle squeaked.

Nightmare Rarity glared at her. "You do not lie to Nightmare Rarity! I can feel your fears and know that once you trot out that door, you'll escape!" The tall unicorn yelled, moving the terrified filly in front of her face.

"Rarity please, y-you're scaring me." Sweetie Belle whimpered.

"Nightmare Rarity told you! She is not this Rarity you speak of!" And with that, the grey unicorn threw Sweetie across the room.

Sweetie Belle leaned against the wall. Her head and back screamed in pain, however the filly tried to stay strong. This wasn't her sister, this was a horrible monster who took her sister. Now Sweetie Belle want's payback.

"Hay!" The filly shouted.

Nightmare Rarity turned around and smiled. "Ready to submit to Nightmare Rarity?" She asked.

The filly shook her head and used her magic to throw a chair at the grey unicorn. However, Nightmare Rarity used her mane to catch the chair. Then the grey unicorn threw the chair at Sweetie Belle. The filly jumped out of the way and dove behind the couch just in time.

"Rarity, this isn't you! Please stop!" Sweetie Belle cried from behind the sofa.

"Her name is Nightmare Rarity stupid girl!" The grey unicorn hissed.

That sure did it.

Sweetie Bell jumped from behind the sofa. Her light green eyes glazed in hatred. "Nopony calls me stupid!" The filly shouted.

The grey unicorn took a step back. Clearly not use to an angry prey.

"You are right! A sister would never call her little sister stupid!" Sweetie Belle yelled, taking another step towards Nightmare Rarity. "So I guess that we are not sisters anymore!" The filly put so much emotion into her last three words, that it stirred something deep within Nightmare Rarity's heart.

"Y-you don't want to be my sister anymore." Nightmare Rarity cried, her voice sounding a lot like Rarity's.

Sweetie Belle took a step back, tears of joy started to creep down her cheeks. "Rarity?" She asked.

Nightmare Rarity shook her head. "She told you that her name was Nightmare Rarity!" The grey unicorn shouted angrily.

Sweetie Belle's heart did a little jump. It was Rarity! Sure it was only for a couple of seconds, but there was still hope!

"Nightmare Rarity doesn't have time for this nonsense! She has a mission to do." The tall unicorn started to trot towards the door. However, she was stopped by an eager Sweetie Belle.

"Was my punishment not enough?" Nightmare Rarity growled.

Sweetie Belle smiled and shook her head. "I wanted to show you this, Rarity." The filly chimed, levitating a piece of pink paper in front of the grey unicorn. There were two drawn on ponies that represented Sweetie Belle and her beloved sister. The two ponies were also in a heart that was outlined with sparkly blue gems.

"Why are you showing her..ugh!" Nightmare Rarity placed her front hooves on the side of her head. The dragon like eyes were replaced with kind, dark blue eyes.

"Sweetie Belle, help..please." Rarity begged. "These nightmares are strong." Hot tears formed in her eyes.

"Rarity!" Sweetie Belle shouted in glee. It's working! Her plan is actually working!

Once the dark blue eyes faded into the reptile green, Nightmare Rarity looked around in confusion.

"Were is Nightmare Rarity?" The unicorn called out to no pony in particular.

"You're in the kitchen Rarity." Sweetie Belle answered, she was setting plates and cups on the table. "And you're gonna help me." The filly chimed.

"Nightmare Rari," The unicorn started to argue, only to be interrupted by a certain filly.

"This is important Rarity! Today's Mother's Day." Sweetie reminded.

There it was again, those dark blue eyes looking down at the filly. "How could I've forgotten!" Rarity shouted. "This is the worst possible thing!"

"Don't worry, we still have three hours till the sun comes out." Sweetie Belle reassured.

Rarity was about to answer, however the nightmares that consumed her but in. "Nightmare Rarity doesn't have time for,"

"OH SHUT UP!" Rarity shouted. "Can't you see that we have more important matters at hoof."

"So does Nightmare Rarity!"

Sweetie Belle gasped in awe at the fight in front of her. Each eye took up a different socket and argued through the same mouth.

"Fight it Rarity!" The filly cheered.

The fight lasted half an hour. Both sides seamed to be equal, however the nightmares were beginning to win.

"Sweetie Belle! Don't just stand there, help me!" Rarity shouted.

"You loose." The nightmares taunted.

Sweetie Belle gritted her teeth. What could she do now? The filly scanned the kitchen. Looking for something to help when suddenly, she had an idea.

"Hay Nightmare Rarity." The filly smirked.

"What do you want stupid child?" Nightmare Rarity growled.

"Do not call my sister stupid!" Rarity scolded.

"Do you like hugs?" Sweetie Belle questioned.

Both eyes stared at the unicorn filly.

"Hugs? What are hugs?"

Rarity, realizing what her little sister was planing to do, placed a hoof onto the forehead. "Not hugs! That is the darkest acts anypony could do!"

"Nightmare Rarity wants a hug now!"

"Okay." Sweetie Belle chimed, trotting over to the tall grey unicorn and wrapping her hooves around her waist. "I love you Rarity." The filly said.

Those were the words Rarity needed to hear. While the nightmares were confused by all the love they felt, Rarity closed her eyes and unleashed a beam of light. She could hear the screams of the nightmares and fell their presence dwindling to nothing.

When Rarity opened her eyes, she saw Sweetie Belle smiling up at her.

"Let's go make some breakfast Rarity." Sweetie Belle chimed.

Rarity smiled and hugged her sister. "I'll make the waffles." She replied.
