Rainbow watched as Cheese Sandwich made his way down the road, boneless no.2 swung over his back. Rainbow thought about how he and Pinkie had made this the best birthday possible. Lost in her thoughts, RD hardly noticed when Pinkie crept towards her.

"So aren't you?"

Rainbow, completely puzzled, asked Pinkie what she meant.

"That's not what you're supposed to say Dashie, follow the script! The people reading this will think you're crazy!"

Nopony knew how Pinkie broke the fourth wall. And it's terrifying when she tries to explain. Horribly terrifying. Pinkie still responded to RD's question. Pinkie said that she had been telling her to do it for the last half hour; make a wish! Not knowing what to say, RD spoke the first thing that came to mind. To have loads of stallion friends. The rest of her friends including Pinkie began laughing.

"Y'all do know stallion friends ain't a pice of cake, Rainbow? You're gonna be couple of straws short of a hay bale if y'all get too many stallions!"

"Oh, oh, this is too rich! I think Rainbow, darling, you should go into comedy!"

Each of her friends made a joke about her wish, though they didn't know she was being serious. Nor would she want them to know. So the Pegasus denied having ever been serious about getting guys, and they believed her. Luckily. Far off in the distance, a blue magical aura appeared in the shadows of the trees. It seemed to glow brighter than most spells, so it obviously was a complicated one. The owner of the aura's voice spoke out in a mild whisper, and it seemed to have a snarl of hate in.

"Be careful what you wish for..."

Rainbow saw the faint aura and heard the voice but when she turned round it seemed to have disappeared. Thinking it was her imagination, she left her suspicions and got back to having a fun time with her friends. They danced all night long, and boy was it a good night. Twilight organised everything for the six friends to have fun on their own in her library, and Pinkie made delicious cupcakes. Rarity designed the cutest outfits for them to dance in, and AJ got 6 barrels of cider. Fluttershy and her animal critters had gone shopping the day before and got a iTunes voucher to get loads of good music. Altogether, it was a pretty good night. Especially when Rainbow gave them all a front row seat in seeing her do a sonic rainboom. What actually happened that night they all forgot, including RD's stallion wish. It was a shame they forgot, because the next day they would need to remember. Their lives depended on it.

Soarin woke up. It wasn't a sudden waking up, it was more like a dragged-out-of-bed waking up. But then again, that's not really important. What was important was his sudden longing for a Rainbow maned pony he first met during the young fliers competition. The way her mane sparkled, the way she pulled off a sonic rainboom, and the way he knew she was the one. It was time for him to pay her a visit. Soarin made his way down the stairs, where he saw Spitfire, his previous crush, eating breakfast. All of the Wonderbolts lived in the same house so they could have meetings close to home and get to know each other more. Spitfire, confused by the fact Soarin was opening the door, asked him where he was going.

"I am going to see her, the mare of my dreams, Draincow Mash!"

Spitfire pointed out he meant Rainbow Dash, but he was already flying out the door, muttering about 'Brainpow Crash' under his breath. Something was seriously wrong.

Chief Thunderhooves was sitting under and apple tree, eating an apple pie. The buffalo herd had decided to rest here for a while on the shade because the weather was extremely hot. His friend, Braeburn, was trotting past all the apple trees that were fruitful and kicking the dry bare ones.

"Oops, I think I need to concentrate more... Ow! That's a really hard tree!"

Braeburn was trying to buck Thunderhooves hide. Trying to hide his anger, he turned round politely to Braeburn. He apologised, and went back to his 'work'. But he was struggling. He couldn't take it anymore. At once, he set down the road to the train station. Love can make you do crazy things.

"Rainbow Dash...Rainbow Dash...Rainbow Dash...Rainbow Dash...RAINBOW DASH!!!"

Twilight sighed with relief as Rainbow finally woke up. Rainbow seemed to be inside Twi's library, but it was more packed than usual. As well as her friends, there was the Apple Bloom, Maud Pie, and 5 stallions. Soarin, Braeburn, Shining Armor, Fancypants and Big Mac. RD noticed they were all looking at her.

"Do you think we should tell her?"

Said Maud's drab voice. A couple of other voices were speaking too, but Rainbow was too tired to listen. She had one mug of cider too many last night. It was time to go back to sleep...

"My smoochy poo, are you listening?"

That's enough to wake anyone up. It was Big Mac who said it that made it worse. The Pegasus regained her senses. Why had Shining Armor came all the way from the Crystal Empire to see her? And why Fancypants from Canterlot? This was a very strange dream.

"Rainbow, would you be so kind that I can speak to you in private, please?"

Twilight dragged RD over to a corner away from everypony else. She told Rainbow the horrifying truth. This was no dream. This was a wish coming true. This was Rainbow's wish to have stallion friends. Now two stallions had abandoned their wives to be with RD. It was horrifying.
