//------------------------------// // Enter:Suri Beltz! // Story: The Magic of Friendship // by Spirit_Dancer_Pinkamina //------------------------------// Once upon a time, there was a land full of happy, cheerful humans ruled by three royal princesses. Humans were so happily blessed with the gift of special magic and creativity far beyond any creature out there to day.The princesses were graciously dubbed Siria, Selene, and Carina. Siria was the eldest and ruled over the day with her sun while Selene ruled the mysterious night that the moon had brought. Carina, however ruled nothing that was physical. She was the embodiment of love itself. They ruled over the harmonious kingdom until one of this sisters grew resentful. Carina had great disdain for her 'precious' subjects. They were ungrateful creatures that didn't see what they had until they have it removed. Angered by their ungratefulness, she makes it so. She removed all the precious love she gave them and filled their very being with hate making her become a vile villain simply known as Cracked Crystal. Sensing this, Siria and Selene decide enough was enough-they had no other choice. They used the only powers they had to return their home to its proper harmonious nature-the Elements of Harmony. The sisters wielded three out of the six elements in total each. Siria was chosen as Honesty, Loyalty and Magic while Selene was Laughter, Kindness, and Generosity. With the Elements in hand, they sealed the tainted princess in a crystal shaped into a heart. "Why'd you just interrupt the story?" There was a person with a swirl of pink and purple hair that curled down to her shoulders. Her green eyes focused on the person beside her with a nasty smirk. The asker was currently driving and fiddling with something on the dashboard. She didn't seem to have any knowledge of how to work it, though. "Its an old wives tale made to scare off first graders!" She instantly answered. "Why are we even listening to this?" The driver rolled her eyes in response. "Its something to think about. Its MUCH better than listenin' to that music you always do." She frowned at the answer. Sure, some of it wasn't the greatest influence she could have, but it was much better than this she made her listen to. She frowns. as she attempts to reach over to change it... "SURI! Don't touch that!" She swatted Suri's hands away from the wheel, making the car swerve. It took some time to straighten it back, but that didn't stop her from glaring. "You could have really screwed up!" "Blah, blah, blah." She waved her off. "Save it for later! It..was just a mistake anyway..!" The driver held her tongue as much as possible. "You could have made us crash." She had to eyeball the road. She let out a soft sigh to relieve herself. "That's beside the point. You don't have the right to act like that-not with what your in for." "Regina-I didn't mean to-" Instantly, she snapped without restraint. "You got yourself kicked out the finest school in that state!" Regina yelled, making her flinch. She didn't waver in her position. "What did you even do? How could you manage to do that to yourself? You know how much it took to get you in there, in the first place! Auntie would NEVER agree to this on her own terms without persuading. She's still mad at you even with that." Suri sunk into the seat nervously. "R-Regina..." "We had to enroll you in REAL school fast and that took a long time to persuade!" "Regina!" "It took a long time to even find a school that would accept you-especially THIS late!" "REGINA!" "I-I'm in their cyber still...with the new school.."She responded weakly after the outburst, seeing her sister's furious gaze. She perked up to add to her defense, however. "Besides, the Princesses MADE me go here, don't you remember?" Suri touched her chin in wonder. Gratitude Day was coming up in a day or so and Ponyville--albeit small, was known for its great festivities. To make up for her..disruptions...she had to help with the festivities. "Only as a way to get you to learn. Besides, it gives you a GREAT opportunity to learn life on the farm. After all-you'll be on it a lot." Suri sunk even deeper into her seat then she ever had. There is no way she could be seen here-but there was no way she could escape any unwanted eyes. There were too many people around. Suddenly, she felt awfully claustrophobic about the amount. When were there so many people? She couldn't remember when the town was filled with so many. Then again, she's been gone for years. "Wait-your making moi work in the dirt?" She gasped in mild confusion. "But isn't this punishment enough? Now I have to be near smelly animals and nasty dirt?" "OUCH!" It didn't take much to make Regina's anger flare. "Its our precious farm. We were raised on it and it gave us wonders. You don't have a right to say atrocities when they helped you too in the end." With a few awkward minutes of silence shared, their stop had been met. "Out! This is our stop!" The clunking and grinding it created came to a halt as the stopped car gave a final bounce, but that ended too quickly for her. While she wasn't exactly anti-social, being with idiots wasn't her cup of tea. "Looks like there's one of your new schoolmates!" Indeed, there was. A girl her age was quickly advancing. She bore a gray color scheme with other colors kept at a minimum. Her light purple eyes easily created an air of excitement and glee. Still-she could sense that she might be annoying to SOME degree. Suri paused before hopping out the car. She could sense Regina's stern look boring into her soul, but she didn't seem to know. Or care-choose your pick. 'Don't bully her like you did to the girls in the gifted school.' She had a knack for interpreting her sister's body language. Before talking, she whirled to see if Regina was anywhere near her. Nope, she seemingly disappeared. 'How did she manage to leave so fast?' "Uh..hello there?" Suri turned back-removed from her thoughts, to the girl again. She was waving her hand in her face. "You were soooooo out of it! Totally zoned out-I never seen a person so lost like that!" 'Way too cheerful.' "He..llo?" Suri blinked a few times before clearing her throat. "Oh, hello there. My name is Suri Beltz and Its a pleasure to meet you." She bit back the sarcastic tone to her, hoping that her tone didn't show she was lying. The silver clad girl seemed oblivious to the blunt lie. She paused slightly appearing to mull it over. "Nope, don't know you!" She smiled wide. "So..you must..."She immediately gasped and ran off, leaving behind a very dazed and confused Suri. ":What...just happened..?" This was going to be a long, LONG Ponyville stay.
