David and Spirit laughed away over two cups of cider that David had brought in remembering times of the past. Being it was the only break they had all day, they tried not to waste it and enjoyed themselves.
"No, no, no!" laughed David, "Remember that time we secretly filled Blueblood's "Private drink" with that hot sauce my cousin gave me?"
"Holy crap I thought his facial was going to melt off!" laughed Spirit
"And who says the Guard doesn't have fun?" asked David taking a drink of cider
"You wont if things turn out the way they're going." said a shrill voice that made Spirit jump
"Ah, Captain Shadow! So nice of you to join us. Want a cup of cider? Straight from Sweet Apple Acres!"
"No drinking on duty Sergeant." said Shadow coldly
"I ain't on duty." said David smartly
"David," said a nervous Spirit through his teeth, "Remember what I told you about mouthing back to superiors!"
David gave his friend a annoyed look.
"Well Sergeant, at this rate you wont ever be on duty again."
Upon hearing this David spit out all his cider onto Spirit: "Sorry buddy. Say what now!?!?"
"I just got word from near the air docks."
"Oh sweet Celestia please let it not be-" pleaded David
"Your door Guards and one of my Guards." said Shadow
"They went to get armor how in Celestia's name can they screw this up."
"They've gotten into a scuffle with some Ponies near the docks. As your commanding officer that means you will be held-"
She wasn't even able to finish her sentence by the time he was out the door and flying at top speed with his blue hair leaving a trail behind him. Shadow looked on as a cup of cider was placed next to her.
"Lieutenant! What is the meaning of this?"
"With all due respect Ma'am, he pours a third one every day! I always thought it was for Filly, but she has her own little cup I saw her come in with. I think he pours it for you, you're the only other Pony in this palace who has break at the same time we do."
Shadow eyed him coldly, to which Spirit saluted and quickly left.

Charger met the other Colt head on in a test of strength, and despite his armor and training, this colt was gaining ground. Flower whipped up a blast of magic and fired it at the other two Mare's striking one and just missing the other. The "other" was also a Unicorn and picked up some stones and flung them at Flower, but they bounced harmlessly off his armor. Up above Crescent had it a bit easier, until one of the Colts flew at him and nearly knocked him from the sky. With nothing but his own armor to protect them, they began to hold their own until one of the Unicorn mares slammed into Charger's side, sending him careening into Flower. The Lunar Unicorn Guard had barely recovered when four of them ran in for the attack, but he was quicker, he always had been to survive in Fillydelphia! He spied several small pebbles on the ground, and using his magic picked each one up and flung them at them.
The attack caught them off guard and Flower swirled them around like a swarm of bugs. Charger stood up and took off toward the lead Colt, knocking him out of the pebble swarm and went to buck him into the ground, but missed. The Colt rolled over and used his own magic to pick up a rock and chuck it at Charger, who took the full force. Meanwhile, One of the Unicorn mares managed to concentrate enough effort to fire off a blast at Flower, who recoiled in pain and sent the pebble swarm up straight toward Crescent. The pebbles tore through his feathers and he fell to the ground, followed by the two Pegasi he was fighting. He landed on the ground and created a small impact crater and couldn't get up. Charger saw his friend down and out and rushed to help him out, only to be blasted by three magic blasts to the side. He fell right next to Crescent as Flower ran over to help. Wounded, the three Guards stood there outnumbered and wounded with the six others ready to deliver their final blows.
"The murder of three Royal Guards is enough to get all of you sent to Tartarus!" came a voice recognized by the Guards.
The six turned around to see a single Brown coated Guard Pegasus standing there, his blue eyes on the verge of rage.
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me! Stand down, last warning."
"And what if we don't?" asked the lead Colt
David went silent for a split second before the second Colt disappeared in a blur of Brown, Blue and gold. He landed on the ground a few feet away from the other three. The rest looked on in fear before the Pegasus Mare was taken out, followed by the two Unicorn Mares and the Earth Pony mare. All that was left was the lead Colt who looked around in fear before turning around to face Flower, Charger, and Crescent; who all shrugged. He turned back around to see the angered David, who raised one hoof, and knocked the colt a few dozen feet and into a building. All were defeated and out, leaving only the Guard standing.
"Sergeant, how did you!?" asked Charger before being cut off
"Armor! Palace! NOW!" ordered David
