After waking up, Applejack finished making her ponytail and grabbed her hat as she got out of the room and the smell of food reminded her how hungry she was.
"Howdy Zecora"
"Good morning my dear. Breakfast is served over here"Zecora said as Applejack entered the kitchen.
"Thanks Zecora it's nice of you to let us stay here for a while"spoke Applejack with sincerity in her voice.
"Stay as much as you'd like. After all, this is a good place to hide from the changelings of outside."added Zecora sitting with some tea.
"Although it would be nice to stay out of trouble but we'll have to go outside sooner or later." Applejack admitted.
"Life is full of decision everyday. Some bring us pain and others go the right way."Zecora said with a knowing look.
"I just hope I take the right decisions"muttered Applejack as she slipped to her thoughts once more.
Minutes later a sleepy filly emerged from the hall entering the kitchen."Mornin Applejack......is breakfast ready?"Applebloom piped.
"Yes, actually Zecora just served it. Go eat I'll go wake Spike up."said Applejack.
I walked to the last door of the hall that seemed so far away yet I was there in a matter of seconds. Entering the room quietly my eyes landed on the sleeping dragon in front of me.I was so close to Spike, I wanted to tell him that I loved him that I had to be with him but that had to wait-no scratch that, I would never have a chance.
"Spike..............Spike wake up."Applejack whispered.
"Wait!" Spike yelled, not realizing that Applejack was in front of him.
Surprised, Spike fell on top of Applejack as they hit the floor."Whoa-ow."Applejack cried.
"Sorry Applejack I just..."
There we were, looking right into each other eyes I had never seen Applejack this way. I swear a saw a spark in her eyes they even shined like emeralds.Had her eyes always shined like that?And why am I feeling weird.It sounds weird, but as we locked eyes for the first time, I couldn't shake the feeling of longing in them.
"Applejack..."
"Spike..."
I wanted to say it, that I loved him, but words couldn't come out of me, as if my voice was broken or robbed from me.All I heard was my heart it was so fast that any other sound faded.
"Sorry Applejack I didn't mean to-"
"No, it's fine it's just an accident.No pony got hurt."Applejack said as she helped Spike up and put her hat back on.
"Alright."Spike fidget with his claws as the awkward silence extended.
"Breakfast is ready"stuttered Applejack.
"Thanks" Spike said, as he quietly left the room.
What in tarnation was that?I could have told him my feelings for him. I had the grand opportunity to tell him, but I let it go cause it just felt so good bein' close to him.When we were close, I felt warm and complete, but now I feel lost and alone.The worst thing is the hollow I feel in my chest and it gets bigger and bigger each day. It's my torture my punishment for falling in love.

"Ready to go?"asked Spike.
"Yes"Applejack spoke as she put her bag in place.
"Can I go too please I'll behave well."Applebloom begged with puppy eyes.
"For the last time Applebloom,ya can't go. I'm sorry but it's very dangerous and I don't wanna get you hurt."Applejack said with a stern look.
"You better listen to your sister and stay while they go for the day."Zecora said from behind.
"Alright I'll stay"Applebloom said disappointed.
"Thanks Applebloom, I promise we'll be back before sunset."Applejack hugged her sister before following Spike outside.
Once outside Applejack asked."What's yer plan Spike."
"First, we'll go through one of the tunnels from Sweet Apple Acres and go to the library in case twilight left some notes or instructions then let's figure out a plan to spy on chrysalis and defeat her.
"Sounds like a plan partner."Applejack agreed.
They started walking to Ponyville it wasn't far when Spike wanted to know why Applejack didn't let her sister come along, so he asked her a question.
"Why can't Applebloom come with us?"asked Spike.
"She's too young, and I ain't gonna let my sister get hurt or worse because of me or any pony else."Applejack said in a serious tone.
"You care a lot about your sister"Spike added.
"It's not just my sister I care about."Applejack stopped walking and turned to Spike."It's every pony I know, and I would do anything for them if that means they'll be alright."
"What about you?Don't you care what could happen to you?"Spike asked with surprise and a hint of fear.
There was no answer from Applejack, turning around and kept walking.The rest of the trip was silent from hat point. I kept thinking why didn't Applejack answered my question........Did I offend her somehow? Or maybe she just didn't want to talk about.I felt great tension on the air it made me feel really uncomfortable.
Once Sweet Apple Acres came in view Spike heard Applejack gasp and then she broke down crying from the horrible scenery in front of them.

The air was mucky and everything was dark, or at least she could see anything all she heard was the sound of dripping water, they walked through a long hallway until they stopped in front of a door and then a door was opened.Trying to fight wasn't a possibility right now, she stopped struggling.
"Twilight!"called voices that sounded very familiar to her.
They threw her to the floor so hard she could barely move a muscle of her sore and bruised body."Girls what are you doing here?"asked Twilight weakly.
"As I said twilight I captured all of the elements of harmony."chrysalis said."I also took care of you brother and that princess he's married to."she added with venom in her voice.
Tired of being pushed down twilight lifted her head, challenging her opponent."Applejack and Spike will stop you!"Twilight yelled.
"Oh........you mean that little farm pony who doesn't have the courage to tell the truth and that dragon who has a crush?chrysalis laughed."How are they gonna stop me when they aren't in love."
"They love each other.........I know it!"Twilight yelled one more time getting up from the floor, anger rising within every word chrysalis said.
"Oh please my dear, they're a lost cause.It's better for you to give up now and admit I won."chrysalis proposed.
"Never."Twilight said determination evident on her eyes.
Chrysalis came close and whispered to twilight's ear."Even if they fall in love,one way or another they will fail."With that said, chrysalis shut the door as she left the room.She had to do something before Applejack and Spike fell in love with each other, and she had just the right plan to destroy them piece by piece.
