"Any of us know where we are going?" asked Charger
"I think I have an idea." said Flower in a flat tone, "Lieutenant Spirit gave me some instructions. I think that is the reason so your Sergeant would let me go with you."
"I think he would have let you go regardless." said Charger
"So sure are you?" asked Flower
"Have you ever met Sgt. David?"
"I've heard stories." said Flower, "None of them very good stories, but most seem to respect him."
"Well, until you meet the guy you don't know him." said Crescent
They continued through the twisting and turning streets of Canterlot past high class ponies looking important, and average class worker ponies doing their jobs. They passed a duo of Guards on patrol and saluted as they passed.
"Soo, Flower, what's your story?" asked Crescent as they walked through the city towards the air docks
"What much is there?"
"Well it's better than walking quietly now isn't it?" said Charger
"I'm from Fillydelphia. Born in the common housing, raised the oldest of 9, joined the Guard to help pay for the family."
"So why are you in Luna's Guard?"
"These eyes of mine aren't fake." he said
The two Guards looked to see his cat-like eyes and that explained it all.
"So then, I told my story, what's your two's story?"
"We're both from Los Pegasus" said Charger
"Which is a "fun little city" and crazy as ever." said Crescent
"And I had the brilliant idea to let him talk me into the Guard and go to Canterlot!" said a annoyed Charger
"Really?" asked Flower
"Really." said Charger, "I'm bored here! Bored as I can ever be!"
"Well it is a great honor." said Flower
"That's what I said!" said Crescent
They soon came to the docks where a trailer stood and two Pegasi hovered around it. One was a wall eyed grey pony with blonde hair, the second a jasmine coated pony with blue hair.
"here to pick up Armor shipment!"
"Right here!" said the Grey one, "All packed up and ready to go!"
Her attitude was cheerful and happy, and quite pleasant to the Guards who just came from the strict tone(and in two of their cases, sardonic demeanor) of the Palace.
The jasmine Pegasi opened up the trailer and took out three boxes and placed them on the ground next to them.
"Uh there should be four." said Crescent
"Oh, I know silly! She's got them."
The Pegasus pony pushed with all her might to get the last crate out the door when it tipped over the edge and went falling to the ground far far below. All five looked over the edge and down to see the crate land in some trees before splashing into a river.
"Oops."
"Not again!" said the Gray haired one
"Alright, why did I know this would happen." said Crescent
"Sorry. She's still new to this." said the gray one
"*sigh* come one Crescent. Get me down there I can lift it up with magic."
"Alright." said Crescent grabbing hold of him.
"Hey! What about me?" asked Charger
"Guard the other boxes! We'll be back in a minute or so!" said Flower as the two went down
