The red eyed skeleton came closer to the three mares. Just as Fluttershy tried to run away, the Miasma cast a spell and block the exit with a invisible force field. “don’t run away,” he said. “it’s been such a long time since I had visitors.”
“and probably your last” Twilight said and she tried to break out.
“don’t be such a coward” Rainbow Dash said. And she pulled Twilight and Fluttershy closer to the Miasma.
“your cyan coloured friend is right.” The Miasma said. “I don’t bite.” And he started to smile, but it was an unfriendly one. His eyes had a spark when he saw Fluttershy’s back. “Is that Thé guitar?”
“the one you made and put Haydrians soul in? yes.” Rainbow Dash said.
“and who of you is here to break the spell?”
the three friends looked confused at each other. “we all are.” Twilight said.
“I know, but who is the ‘great love’ who’s the only one who can break the spell?” the Miasma asked.

“congratulations. Due to you, Haydrian is death.” The Miasma said.
“don’t listen to him Shy, he’s trying to confuse you so you can’t beat him anymore.” Rainbow Dash said.
“but it’s true.” The Miasma said. “cause of his love to you, he died.” The Miasma came closer and scratched in Fluttershy’s long pink manes.
“what do you mean?” Fluttershy asked.

The Miasma smiled and rolled with his eyes. “maybe.”

“easy. When his soul was focused on you and his love to you, it was easy for me to enter…” the Miasma explained.
“It was rhetorical! You brainless dip**** f****** son of a b****.” Rainbow Dash shouted.
“RAINBOW DASH!!” Twilight yelled.

“okay, that’s enough.” Twilight said. And she cast a spell that changed Rainbow’s mouth into a zip and closed it. Rainbow could only mumble anymore.
“where did that girl learned such a cruel language.” The Miasma asked.
“none of your business.” Fluttershy said pissed off. “the only thing that you’ve got to know is how you’re getting beaten today!”
Twilight’s eyes grew big when she heard Fluttershy saying this. She’d never expected to hear this from Shy.
“what are your terms for this battle?” Fluttershy said still pissed off.
“okay, okay. I get it. you want to fight and stuff to free the spirit of your death coltfriend.” The Miasma said. “pity, I would like to talk to you for a longer time.”
“I’ll talk to you after I drilled you in the ground!” Fluttershy said.
“Fluttershy? Why so pissed.” Twilight asked.
“he killed my coltfriend! He has to pay for it.” Fluttershy said.
“’mumble, mumble’” Rainbow Dash garbled. And she lift her forehoof in the air and than smashed it down.
“okay, the stake is clear? If you win, Haidrians soul is free. If I win, than I’ll eat your soul.” The Miasma said.
“did you said eat?” Twilight asked.
“yep.”
“what kind of battle is it?” Fluttershy asked.
“isn’t that obvious?” the Miasma said. And he pointed at the guitar that Fluttershy was still carrying in her back.
“Pinkie? Do you have all the decorations?” Applejack asked.
“right here.” Pinkie said. She ran in the barn but fell over a rock. The whole barn was covered with streamers and balloons.
“darling, you’ve got to be more careful.” Rarity said.
“sorry, but I’m just so excited.” Pinkie Pie said. “who ever thought that Rainbow would ever get a letter like that?”
“I know, I’m so happy for her.” Rarity said.
A ring from the kitchen interrupted Applejack’s focus. “the cake is ready.” She yelled.
“That looks delicious” Pinkie Pie said when Applejack entered back in the barn with a big chocolate cake Pinkie tried to take a big bite from it, but Applejack stopped her.
“this is for Rainbow when she’s back.” Applejack said.
“now that you say that, when are they back?” Rarity said.
“I don’t know” Applejack said. “Pinkie, do you know that?”
Pinkie Pie thought for a little wile “no, but I’m sure they are on there way back.”
Fluttershy played a fine solo. “that was good.” Twilight said.
“you think that? Watch this!” The Miasma said. And he took a guitar that came out of nowhere. And he played a orgasm good solo. The mouths of Twilight and Fluttershy fell open. Rainbow Dash’s mouth was still closed by the zipper.
“I was just getting started!” Fluttershy said. And she played an inspiring good solo that made the Miasma nervous.
“way to go!” Rainbow said. She finally figured a way out to open the zip. “kick that **** ass”
“Rainbow!” Twilight said. And she closed the zip again and hung a big padlock at it.
“uh… wait, look at this.” The Miasma said anxious. And he played a riff but in stead of making good music, he created a laser and shot at Fluttershy.
“that’s cheating!” Twilight said madly.
“no, it’s a rule that I didn’t explained.” The Miasma said.
“Fluttershy?” a grey pegasus asked.
Fluttershy opened her eyes. She immediately recognised the face of the stallion. “Haydrian? Where am I?” she looked around and saw that the whole environment was grey-green and filled with stars. “is this the afterlife?”
“no silly. This is the mid-dimension. Something between death and alive.” Haydrian said. “but that doesn’t care. You’ve got to listen to me.”
“Haydrian…” Fluttershy whispered.
“I’ve got a plan to beat the Miasma for once and for ever. After you heard it, I’ll send you back.” He said.
“no. I’m finally back to you. I don’t want to leave you. You’ve got no idea how much I missed you.” Fluttershy said. “I love you.”
“I love you to. But if we don’t do something, the Miasma will eat your soul, and than you’re literally gone.” Haydrian said.
Fluttershy sighed. A silver teardrop appeared in the corner of her eyes.
“the plan is easy.” He said.
After he explained his plan, Fluttershy looked in his eyes.
“you understood me?” Haydrian asked.
Fluttershy nodded.
“than I’ll send you back.” He said.
“when do I see you again?” Fluttershy asked.
“I… I don’t know.” Haydrian said. He couldn’t hold his tears to. The two ponies hugged each other and nuzzled.
“goodbye” Haydrian said. At that moment, Fluttershy cried even harder. “I’m sorry.” And Fluttershy vanished. Haydrian left alone with empty hoofs. “I hope she’s gonna make it.”
“it seems that my dinner is served” the Miasma said. And walked toward Fluttershy.
“no!” Twilight said. And she unlocked the padlock from Rainbow’s muzzle and changed the zip back into a mouth.
“yeah! We’ll stop you. You …” she wanted to say something cruel, but than looked at Twilight who gave her a warning face.
“you… bad guy” Rainbow said.
“don’t worry, you’re next.” He said. Just as he wanted to attack, Fluttershy woke up and jumped angrily toward the Miasma.
“eat cake you bastard.” Fluttershy yelled. And she smashed the guitar at the Miasma’s head. The guitar splintered immediately and the miasma vaporised.
“nooooooo…” he yelled. “buck all of you…”
The force-field vanished. The pieces wood of the guitar were moving, and flow in the air. There materialized a grey fog, and soon there was a face into it.
“Haydrian!” Fluttershy cried. And she ran toward the smoke. “you’re back.”
“not for long, I’m affright.” Haydrian said. “anyway, thank you. You beat the Miasma and freed my spirit.”
“and now you’re back and everything is back to normal right?” Rainbow asked.
Haydrian looked with sad eyes to Fluttershy. “I’m sorry.”
Fluttershy didn’t know why, but she had to think at the song that Haydrian sang before he died.

Haydrian stood stunned and he nodded. “I’m sorry. But you’ve got to forget me.”
“I…I understand.” Fluttershy said. And Haydrain fade away.
“Fluttershy? Are you going to come with us?” Twilight asked.
“were heading back to Ponyville.” Rainbow Dash said.
“yeah” Fluttershy said. “I know.”
