A new era was just about to begin
The Master Builders, a group of amazing individuals who harness the ability to create anything they desire out of whatever building bricks lay among them,were also the last line of defense against evil in their world. Thanks to the fine work of Emmet, who was once just a completely positive yet non-creative nobody his whole life, ends up saving the LEGO world when helping the evil Lord Business and his top henchman, Badcop, see the error of their ways by explaining to Lord Business that the made-up Prophecy,which originally depicted Emmet himself as The Special, the greatest, most talented, most creative, most important being of all time, was at the same time true because everyone is special in their own way, that it's about everyone, but for the moment, it was about him, and that he could still change everything.
And so with that said, with the Piece of Resistance in hand, Emmet proudly watched as President Business stick the fabled yet powerful LEGO piece to the Kragle, (in reality it was a bottle of super strong Krazy Glue), the equally powerful doomsday weapon,and the reformed President Business thanks Emmet for what he's done and was just half way through a short lecture when the the Kragle blows up so greatly that the entire Mothership goes as well. With the Mothership gone, all of the Micro-Managers, Lord Business's enormous octopus-like robot army, instantly shut down. When Emmet land on the streets of Bricksburg,he's meet and cheered for by the Master Builders who helped see him through his great adventure, they include Virtruvius, Batman, Unikitty, Benny the Spaceman, Metalbeard, and of course his closest friend and ally, Wyldstyle.The whole gang,along with President Business and the now reformed Goodcop,who's in more control of his good side, were just going to chill out on Emmet's Double Decker couch when suddenly a trio a giant yet adorable creatures made up of bigger and thicker Lego bricks arrive and their leader announces in a little girl's voice, "We are here from the planet Dulpo, and we have come to destroy you". Everyone gathers completely stunned and weirded out as Emmet simply yet slowly responds: "Oh man".

The fight with the Duplo creatures didn't last long, considering that their attacks and movements were that of a four year old:completely harmless. Soon afterward, The Master Builders and the people of Bricksburg came together to start cleaning up the mess around the city. Even with their amazing skill of building plenty of useful gadgets and more with any Lego pieces they need,from giant street sweepers to mobile scoop claws,it seemed as though the mess was so big, the clean-up effort might take longer than expected. As Batman and Virtruvius were halfway done with the damage done to the highway,Batman starts to get agitated.
"AHHH!! This is so lame, let's just bail out of here and let someone else put up with this huge junk-fest!",shouts Batman.
Virtruvius, who's obviously far more wiser than even Batman, simply sees fit to reason with him on the subject.
"Now calm yourself Batman, we were partially responsible for what's happened to Bricksburg, the least we can do is give these fine people a helping hand".
Batman, hating that Virtruvius has made once again a very convincing point,starts to groan as usual.
"OOOOOHHHHHH! Fine! Let's just get this over with and HOLD ON DUDE! I still don't get how you're even still alive after Lord Business killed you back at Octan tower!
"Oh that!", Virtruvius goes, "I was just faking it for dramatic effect,I bet that would've even won me an Academy Award for Best Performance!"
"More like Worst Performance", Batman adds with a small smirk on his face,"since you over did with that cheapo tone in your voice back there".
" *sigh* Figures you'd say something that negative sooner or later", said Vitruvius.
"Don't mention it", Batman says, thinking that was a complement he was given, "That's what I'm here for,now let's hurry up and get this over with so WHOA!!".
Batman was abruptly cut off by a large jet-like blue and gray spaceship going right over him and Virtruvius at breakneck speeds,flown by none other than it's creator Benny The Spaceman. Benny,thinking that it would help out in the clean-up effort, was crazily shooting at debris all over the city such as parts of fallen skyscraper and badly wrecked Micro-Managers that ceased to function,which flew apart into even smaller pieces, making an even bigger mess than there already was. Batman is getting very angry with how it's starting to look as if they hadn't even gotten started with the clean-up effort,and tries to yell some sense into Benny in his own usual way.
"HEY SPACE-MORON! QUIT MESSING AROUND WITH THAT LAME-O SHIP OF YOURS! IT"S MAKING THINGS WORSE THAN IT ALREADY WAS!!",Batman yelled.
But Benny didn't hear a single thing Batman said,as he was too busy shooting at debris with an excited look on his face,laughing like a maniac and constantly yelling out his favorite word as he flew all over the city.
"SPACESHIP! SPACESHIP! SPACESHIP!!!!",yelled Benny without a care in the world.
As Benny's ship flew by, Emmet and Wyldstyle are busy cleaning up the debris from the destroyed mother-ship with the help of one of the various mobile scoop-claws Emmet built himself,being a full-fledged Master Builder now,along with President Business,who himself was able to reactivate and re-purpose a few Micro-Managers to lend a hand...or claw.
"Boy, I'll tell ya",said Emmet,"Those Duplo things,did not see that coming".
"I'm sure no one was expecting that,Emmet",said Wyldstyle doing a little laugh in the process,"Now let's focus,the sooner we finish cleaning up the city,the sooner we can rest at last".
"You know Emmet, I'd just want to thank you again",said President Business,"for what you've done to me and Goodcop,it gives me great joy finally doing some good,even if it might take a day or two to clean this place up".
"Actually", said Emmet, "it might take all week to finish up here".
"OH COME ON!!!", Batman yelled when he heard Emmet from all the way down the street.
"Let's just hope the others are doing good enough of a job",said Wyldstyle,"otherwise it could take TWO weeks just to fix up this town".
"OHHH COME ON!!!!!!",Batman yelled once more hearing that dreadful news.
"Oh that reminds me, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern have their hands full in the south-side of town",said Emmet,"so I asked Goodcop and Unikitty to take care of the school district that's all crowded up in debris".
Sure enough, Goodcop and Unikitty were at the school district ready to do their part in the effort,but when Wyldstyle looked down the street to check on them,she was stunned to see those two playing tag with some of the kids nearby.
"Tag, you're it!", yelled Goodcop as he poked his hybrid animal princess and he and the kids were starting to run for it.
"You can't run from me!",yelled Unikitty happily as she started to chase after them. Wyldstyle turned back to Emmet with her eyebrow raised up high,and he returned an awkward look.
"Yeah I kinda stayed out of it", Emmet says casualy.
Emmet continued to dig through the debris when his own scoop-claw gets a hold of something giving off so much power that the claw blew apart the second it came into contact. He dug through deep enough and when President Business and Wyldstyle came over, they were all shocked to see what lay before them: The Piece Of Resistance, completely intact.
"How's that possible?",exclaimed Wyldstyle,"It was destroyed in that explosion along with the Kragle,you two were there when it happened".
"Yeah,I'm not sure how this happened",said Emmet,"but it's AWESOME!!",Wyldstyle sighs in response to Emmet's obvious reaction.
Emmet then calls the rest of the gang to check it out for themselves,along with Metalbeard and the other three superheroes as well,all while three other Master Builders decide to see what's all the comotion about,including Jedi-Master Yoda,The First Boy Wonder all grown up;Nightwing,and adventurer extraordinaire Indiana Jones.
"By Davy Jones Locker!! Tis the Piece of Resistance indeed!",cried Metalbeard with pride.
"A most pleasing discovery, this is indeed, my friends",said Yoda with a sense of enlightenment.
"Hold on!", yelled Indy,"Something's not right,if the Piece of Resistance survived that explosion,then that must mean...".
Indy's sentence was then cut short,along with the sense of joy in the air,when one the re-purposed Micro-Managers came to President Business with something important it found even deeper underneath the debris,something that was just as powerful as the Piece of Resistance,but far more terrifying.
"Well guys",said President Business with concern,"seems like the Piece of Resistance was DEFINITELY not the only thing to survive the explosion".
As he stepped back to show the second surviving object that is:The Kragle,intact as well.
"Okay,not trying to make things worse",said Emmet,"but that is completely NOT-awesome".
Virtruvius walked up to both objects,sensing something coming from both relics.
"Hmm,this is most unusual',said Virtruvius with curiosity,"I'm picking up some kind of energy coming from the Piece of Resistance and the Kragle,whatever it is,must be a final result of the fusion".
Walking up to the two relics,Green Lantern turned to Vitruvius with a look that shows confusion rather than curiousity.
"Yeah,I'm kinda hoping someone would be a little more specific,because I literally have no idea what's going on,or what you're talking about,at all".
"It would seem that the power of both objects were combined as one when the Piece of Resistance was attached to the Kragle,and that the explosion was the final step to the process", Vitruvius further explained, "but what ever that blue energy coming from the two objects is capable of is beyond even me".
"Bah!,you're all actin' like a bunch o' cowardly sea urchins!!",shouted out Metalbeard,"I say we be knocking hard on them two thingamajigs till something happens,ARGHH!"
Just like that,Metalbeard was going to take his idea seriously as he raised his sword up high,and was just about to strike on the two objects when a grapple line came from behind Metalbeard,wrapped around his arm,holding him back from his attempt to strike at the objects. The line came from none other than the grapple gun of Batman,struggling to keep Metalbeard from making a fatal mistake.
"Without any idea what that energy can do?!", shouted Batman in a more angry tone,but then returning to his regular tone, "That's idiotic".
"NO ONE BE CALLIN' THE MIGHTY METALBEARD IDIOTIC!!!", yelled the fearsome mechanical pirate as he freed his arm from the grapple line.
"I'm afraid Batman has a point,Metalbeard", added Vitruvius just before the vigilante and the pirate-cyborg were about to have a throw-down in Time Square, "It's just too risky engaging in such actions on these two objects without knowing just what that blue energy allows them to do now,I believe it's best to take a closer look at these two items just so that...oh nuts".
Everyone was confused about what he was referring to in a concerning matter,until they turned around in fear as they saw Emmet just shaking the Piece of Resistance up and down with a smile on his face.
"Emmmet what are you doing?!?!", yelled Wyldstyle in a state of terror.
"Well Vitruvius said we shouldn't hit these things", said Emmet with confidence, "so I figured nothing serious would happen if just shake at least one of them".
"It's true", added Vitruvius, "I did say we SHOULDN'T HIT THEM quite clearly".
"That's not really helping Vitruvius", said Superman as he chimed in, "Now Emmet,put down the Piece before something goes wrong!".
"Come on,guys!", Emmet yelled in confidence this time, "I'm sure things won't turn out so bad!".
But he spoke too soon as a mass of blue energy came flying right off the Piece of Resistance while he was still shaking it,and it was just bouncing around all over the city until it landed right in front the Master Builders. Right before their eyes,the mass expanded into a medium-sized blue portal,and nothing else happened at the time,as it just sat there.
Emmet walked as close to the portal as possible,and even danced around it,yet there wasn't any disturbance. Emmet then turned to the others with a positive look on his face.
"See guys?", Emmet said, "Like I've been saying,there's absolutely nothing to AHHHH!!!!"
Just like that, Emmet and the Piece of Resistance suddenly got sucked into the portal within the blink of an eye.
"EMMET!!!",everyone yelled in panic as they just watched their great friend and leader get sucked into a strange portal.
Before they could react,one by one,everyone else was getting sucked into the portal,and no matter how hard they tried to fight it,they just couldn't escape the strong gravitational pull on them. Even when the thirteen Master Builders got sucked in,the portal didn't stop there,it pulled in the Kragle,along with Wyldstyle's Super-Cycle and Benny's Spaceship,and it even grew big enough to suck up at least two or three skyscraper's worth of Lego bricks,cleaning up half of the debris around the city in the process,and then the portal,which transported all of those characters and things to an unknown destination,fades away.
The Master Builders were flying through some kind of blue wormhole,until they approached an exit,but not to their world. As they fell out of the sky,Emmet was trying to get a good enough look of the surrounding area,and with Virtruvius falling right next to him,he felt like he should know of the area's appearance.
"Hey Vitruvius! This place looks weird!", yelled Emmet seeing as how he and the others are falling right out of the sky.
Vitruvius,unable to hear Emmet,just shouted,"What's that?!", yelled Vitruvius back,having a rough time hearing anything, "Speak up Emmet,I can't hear you!!".
"THIS PLACE IS WEIRD!!!", yelled Emmet even louder but apparently not loud enough.
"I'm weird?!, Virtruvius claimed, "Of course I'm weird, boy, I'm a blind old mystic who knows kung-fu,everything about that is supposed to be weird!!!".
"Never mind!", shouted Emmet, "I'll show you guys when we hit the ground,that reminds me: AAAHHHHH!!!!!"
Aside from the few Master Builders who can fly,everyone plummeted to the ground ready to experience an extremely painful landing,only to experience one the weird things about that world Emmet was talking about.
They still hit the ground,but only experienced half of the pain that was expected,being that the pain they would've felt wouldn't be only half,seeing is how they come from a world made out of rough and hard Lego bricks. Regardless,the landing was still painful for the rest of the Master Builders,and right away fell the Piece of Resistance and the Kragle,followed by the two vehicles,but lucky for them,those only landed next to them.After being one of the last ones to hit the ground was none other than Jedi-Master Yoda,who also seemed to double as Sky-Diving Master Yoda given he was doing so many back flips while falling.
"Do to deserve this,what did I?", said Yoda with a sense of grief.
Unfortunately,that was asked at a bad time as the three skyscraper's worth of Lego bricks fell right on top of everyone. Yoda climbs out of that mess with an upset look on his face.
"*groans* Get worse,how can this? AHH!!", says Yoda with a sense of regret just before something big falls right on him.
Once again,bad timing strikes as Metalbeard is the last one to hit the ground,except Yoda wishes he'd actually hit the ground.
"Shiver me timbers mates!", shouted Metalbeard with joy, "Tis' must be me lucky day truly,for I've commandeered me-self the comfiest pillow in all the Seven Seas!!"
"*groans* My big mouth and me",Yoda says with a sense of agony.
It took a few minutes,but everyone got readjusted,such as Metalbeard realizing he's sitting on Yoda and finally getting off of him,not to mention that Virtruvius used his power to store the Lego bricks that came with them into a manageable and mobile carrier the size of Benny's Spaceship, everyone finally got a better look at the surrounding lands and were stunned yet at the same time: confused.
All around them,they see lushly green meadows and amazing apple trees far off in the distance,mighty mountains that would put their own to shame,clear blue sky with very few yet really fluffy clouds,critters of all kind ranging from birds to bears to snakes and squirrels and deer and many others. And also from a great distance,they can make out a small,beautiful town where they could try to get some help. But that's where they notice two strange things about the world they're stuck in,for one,it seems to them that all the main creatures in that town,and quite possibly almost everywhere in that world,are all ponies,of three type to be exact,like Earth-ponies who are settled with doing complete ground work,Unicorn-ponies who specialize in the use of magic through their horns,and of course Pegasus-ponies who live out their lives soaring through the great blue skies. And the second is that not a single thing is made up of Lego bricks,which is too weird for them,considering that they come from a world that's made up of nothing but LEGO.
The Master Builders were geared up and were ready to make their way to that small town when just a dozen feet to their left were a group of six ponies and what appeared to be a baby dragon as well who seemed to be having some sort of picnic. They were all girls except for the baby dragon,which was purple with green scales and green eyes,and each of the ponies were of various kind. Two of them that were each peach and pink were Earth-ponies,another set of two were each blue and yellow were Pegasus-ponies,one was white and a Unicorn-pony,and the sixth one was purple like the baby dragon but also very strange,seeing that she had a rare combination of the horn of a Unicorn and the wings of a Pegasus and each of the ponies seem to have weird-looking marks on their hind-quarters. Judging from the freak-out looks on their faces,they obviously saw the whole thing but were too creeped out to do anything. Finally they got their act together and prepared themselves as if for battle.
The purple pony must have been the leader,for she spoke on her friends' behalf.
"We are the Mane 6,I am Princess Twilight Sparkle of Ponyville!", stated the hybrid purple pony, "And I demand to know exactly who are you all,where did you come from,and what you intend to do with our world!"
Being the leader of the Master Builders,Emmet felt it be best to speak on their behalf as well, and to avoid a possible rumble. Emmet simply walks a little forward toward this Princess Twilight Sparkle,but there still being a gap between them,he makes his statement.
"Uh hello,I'm Emmet. I'm just gonna come right out,I have no idea what's really going on here", says Emmet, "or what this place is,or who any of you guys are,at all".
Just then,the pink Earth-pony comes right in front of Princess Twilight with a really big happy face and starts jumping up and down in excitement.
"OH MY GOSH!! This.Is.So.COOL!!!", the pink earth-pony yells, "Hi There!! I'm Pinkie Pie,and let me just say you guys are by far the cutesiest,most awesome and super cool travelers I've ever seen in my WHOLE LIFE!!! WELCOME TO EQUESTRIA!!!!!"
Pinkie Pie was still staring at the Master Builders with excitement,while Princess Twilight and the rest of the ponies behind her still look awful serious about this predicament.After a moment of silence between both groups,Batman has something to say In response to what he and the others have seen so far,along with the ponies who dare to challenge them,especially how he felt about the way Pinkie Pie was all cheerful and full of life when she met them.
"I hate this place", said Batman,in his lowest,most serious speaking voice possible.
