Charming Thunder was meditating to calm his mind after what he just went through the other day. He then opened his eyes and just realized something. He then left his tent to go visit Twilight and Celestia to tell them something important. There were two pony guards outside of their tent standing at both sides of the entrance. They wore a red robe and helmet and they were holding a force pike. They both noticed Charming Thunder and allowed him to pass. Celestia and Twilight Sparkle were having tea as he entered the room. They turned to notice him as Twilight said, "Oh. Hi, Charming Thunder. What brings you here?"
"I just realized something," he replied. "During my stay in prison, I have been overhearing the guards outside of my cell about this...super weapon that Luna has been working on."
"What do you think the super weapon does?" Celestia asked. "Is my sister planning to destroy Equestria? Or is she going to destroy the sun?"
"Neither. What I have heard, it is going to be used to destroy any cruiser with its super laser. I heard that it is called the Death Star."
"Do you know its weakness so that we can destroy it?"
"No because I don't have the plans to look at. If only I knew where they were."
"I think I can answer that," a voice said from behind. It was Rover, one of the diamond dogs who kidnapped Rarity months ago.
"Rover! What are you doing here?"
"I have information about what you are looking for. My kind has the plans hidden in the caves where they were dug up a crystal to use its weapon."
"And what of your other companions Fido and Spot?" Charming Thunder asked.
"They are with me but they are still at the caves working with the Separatists."
"Separatists?" Celestia asked.
"They are the diamond dogs that are in charge of keeping the plans safe."
" I have a plan. You will contact them to let them know that Luna has sent a representative to check on the operation and I'll head there and kill the leaders and steal the plans. Once that is done, you and your friends can get back to your normal life."
"I thank you for that," Rover said as he agreed.
"I hope your plan works," Twilight said.
"Trust me. It will."

Deep in the caves, the diamond dogs were digging for jewels. At the control room, the diamond dog leaders were talking to Rover about a representative coming. "A representative of Luna you say?" one of the leaders asked.
"Yes," Rover replied. "And when he arrives, he will...take care of you." The transmission ended and the diamond dogs continued to work on guarding the plans to Luna's battle station.

Charming Thunder's fighter landed outside of the entrance of the cave. Two diamond dog guards noticed the ship and walked up to it. Charming Thunder was wearing a cloak with a hood over his head. He walked up towards the guards as he approached the entrance. "Our leaders have been expecting you," one of the guards said.
"And where are they now?" Charming Thunder asked.
"In the control room, sir."
"I have a message from Celestia."
The guards were shocked as the second guard asked, "Message? What message?"
"THIS!!" He activated his lightsaber and slashed the first guard. He then used his magic to choke the second guard. His magic then snapped the guard's neck and he threw him aside. He then proceeded inside the cave to head to the leaders and steal the plans.

The diamond dogs were monitoring the progress of the workers digging up some jewels. The hooded figure then entered the room and stopped at the other side of the door he came in. One of them noticed him enter and said, "Welcome. We have been expecting you." The hooded figure's horn then started to glow. The doors were closing so that the leaders can't escape. The dogs in the room were shocked when the doors closed. When they heard the activation sound of a lightsaber, the figure then started to slay them. They all then started to panic as they tried to find a way to escape. The figure continued to slay the rest of the leaders until there was only one left in the room. He then started to walk up to the cornered diamond dog wearing a top hat as he said, "You're not Luna's representative. You're Charming Thunder, the leader of the rebellion. Please spare me and I will--" He was cut off when the figure sliced him in half. Charming Thunder then headed to the terminal that had a hologram of what he was looking for. It was spherical shaped station which almost looks like a moon but damage looking. He pressed a button on the panel and grabbed the disk containing the plans. He then left the control room leaving nothing but bodies of the leaders. Once he exited the cave, he boarded his starfighter and sets course back to Ponyville to examine the Death Star plans and find a weakness.

At Ponyville, starfighters have come back from training as Doctor Hooves was working on making the Dark Trooper army. TIE Phantom squadrons have returned from their test flight and landed in the flagship. Charming Thunder was in his tent with Twilight looking at the plans to the Death Star. The hologram of the station zoomed in to a trench as they were finding a weakness. The hologram proceeded through the trench and stopped at a small shaft. "That must be the stations weak point," Twilight said as she hatched an idea. "If we fired something in there since it leads to to the main reactor, it can cause a chain reaction and it will blow up"
"That is a great idea," Charming Thunder said. "But there is one problem: Luna is going to be at the castle while it is over Canterlot. Somepony must face her and wipe her memory."
"I know what you are thinking, Charming Thunder. And the answer is no. I don't want you to get hurt."
Charming Thunder walked up to Twilight and placed a hoof over her shoulder and said, "Don't worry, Twilight. I'll be alright. That is why we are also doing a ground assault of Canterlot. Our army will help me go to the castle while you hold off the forces outside. The rest of the briefing is for tomorrow."
"I hope that you are right," she said with a little worry.
Charming Thunder then turned off the hologram and said, "In the meantime, how 'bout we get some shut eye. My eyes are starting to hurt from looking at that hologram for hours."
"Of course. And Charming Thunder?"
"Yes, Twilight?"
"Can I...sleep with you? Just for today?"
"Of course, milady." He then bowed as Twilight giggled. They then walked to bed and Charming Thunder laid down on his side as Twilight did the same.

The next day, everyone was at the briefing room including Celestia, Octavia, and Blueblood. The rebellion are about to plan their final attack. The red royal guards were standing next to the princess to keep her safe from any harm. "Well look at you, Rainbow," Applejack said. Rainbow was wearing a pilot outfit. "Are you a general now or something?"
"Yeah," Rainbow replied. "I just completed my flight training with Cheerilee and I got promoted to squad leader."
"Well I'm proud of you."
"Thanks." The room was quiet when Charming Thunder entered the room.
"Luna has made a critical error and our time to attack has come," Charming Thunder said. "The data I found at the diamond dog hideout gives us a weakness to her super weapon: the Death Star." He pressed the button and revealed the hologram of the battle station rotating around. "It carries a firepower greater than half of a star fleet. Its defenses are designed to repel a large scale assault. A small fighter shall be able to penetrate the outer defense."
"Pardon me for asking," Cheerilee asked from the back. "But what good are snub fighters going to be against that?"
"Well, the New Lunar Republic doesn't consider a small one-man fighter to be any threat, or they'd have a tighter defense. An analysis of the plans provided by myself and Twilight Sparkle has demonstrated a weakness in the battle station. But it will not be easy. You are required to maneuver straight down the trench and skim the surface to this point." The hologram then revealed the exhaust port. "The target is only two meters wide. Its a small thermal exhaust port right below the main port. It leads directly to the reactor. It will then start a chain reaction when hit which should destroy the station. The shaft is ray shielded so you must use proton torpedoes."
"That's impossible," Rainbow Dash said. "Even for a computer."
"Rainbow Dash has volunteered to lead the attack while Blueblood and Octavia takes command of our flagship. The fleet will hold off the enemy fleet outside of the station. As for the ground forces. We will breach the gates of Canterlot so that I can head to the castle and face Luna and put an end to the New Lunar Republic. The dark troopers will breach the entrance to the gate after the transports deploy us to the ground. Once in the town, we will proceed straight to the castle. You will hold off their forces while I face Luna alone. Head to your ships. And may Celestia's magic be with us." Everyone in the room got up and headed to their stations to get ready for their final assault against the New Lunar Republic.
