Sunset Shimmer's, and Flash Sentry's eyes were focused on Marik's ship as it rolled into the boat house. The ship pulled slowly into its spot. Once it stopped, a ramp fell down connecting the ground to the ship. Then, in full view were Marik and Odian, and both of them were wearing the trademark purple Rare Hunter cloak. The two slowly walked down the ramp. Flash Sentry knelled.  

"It's been a while, Marik. Glad to see you doing well after your unfortunate loss to the Pharaoh," Sunset said to Marik.

Flash whispered,"Don't test him."

Marik replied,"I have been told that you have made the arrangements for the SOSMH."

She nodded. 

Flash stood up and said,"All we need is the boy. The rare hunters are searching for him as we speak. We need to find him alone."

"Odian."

"Yes Master Marik?"

"I want you to capture the young Kiaba to ensure nothing goes wrong."

"Yes Sir," Odian said as he nodded.

The group split up. Marik and Sunset ventured out into the city on their motorcycles. Odian and some rare hunters went to search for the young Kaiba. Finally, Flash stayed to guard their base in the pier and prepare the SOSMH.

Joey and the others came across a familiar face from Duelist Kingdom: Mako Tsunami in a sea show arena. Joey feeling confident after defeating Espa Roba and Weevil Underwood decided to challenge Mako to get the last 2 locator cards he needed to qualify for the Battle City finals. Tea, Tristain, and Yugi's Grandpa were cheering him on. The others had thoughts about the status of Twilight and Yugi in the back of their heads. What they didn't know is that rare hunters were watching the duel closely.

Meanwhile, Yami, Twilight, and Spike split up and searched the city for their friends. Yami didn't want them to split up, but Twilight persisted since they could cover more ground. Each of them had a walki on hand, and would call if they got into trouble. The three spent about an hour each searching a different part of the city. Spike, who was near Kiaba Corp, noticed Mokuba about to head into the building. 

"Mokuba! Mokuba!," he shouted.

Mokuba then noticed Spike. The two boys then headed up to Seto's office in the private elevator.

"Wow! We have nothing like this back home. It's way easier than walking twenty flights of stairs.," commented Spike.

"Oh, I have been meaning to ask. Where are you and Twilight from?"

Spike's conscience was reminding him that it wouldn't be wise to tell him about Equestria. He then decided to make up something.

"We live in a small town that is far away from here. We live near a library which is good since Twilight is really and I mean really into reading."

"I see. As for Seto and I, we live in nice house about 20 minutes away from here. I have my own room and everything. It's pretty inside. My brother has a room just to store all of his Duel Monsters cards. Crazy right?"

"Well not really. Twilight is obsessed with books just as much as your brother is with Duel Monsters."

"I don't mind it too much. I'd rather have a obsessed brother than a cruel father any day. I am lucky that Seto takes care of me. It reminds me how if it wasn't for him we would still be......."

Spike was about to ask Mokuba about his last sentence, but the elevator doors opened. Spike and Mokuba then walked up too Seto's office door.

"Seto," Mokuba said and then he knocked three times.

Seto then said,"Come on in."

Mokuba opened the door.

When Seto saw Spike he commented,"It seems you brought a guest little brother, and it seems you didn't bring Twilight or Yugi. It's ok. He can help you on this little mission I have for you. I want you to try to pinpoint the Rare Hunter's headquarters location."

Spike then said,"They have a headquarters?"

"Yes. Now, I have managed to track the duel disk signals of several Rare Hunters, but once they enter the southwestern part of the city I lose them. So, I want you to find what is blocking the signal and disable it. You got all that you two?"

They both nodded. Spike then asked,"Can I ask you something Seto?"

"Sure. Why not?"

"Well, since I am helping Mokuba, could you help Yugi and Twi in searching for our friends? They are in danger and we need to find them as soon as possible."

"Well I am heading out to find some people to duel, so if I see them, I'll text you Mokuba."

"Thank you so much, Mr.Kaiba. Come on Mokuba! Times a wasting!"

Mokuba replied,"I'll be there in a minute."

Once Spike left the room, Seto got up and bent down in front of his brother.

"Mokuba, please be careful. If anything suspicious happens call me immediately. You understand?"

"Yes big brother."

Mokuba started to leave when Seto said,"Mokuba."

"Yea."

"Have fun."

"I will. See you soon big brother! I'll find the hideout as fast as Rainbow Dash supposedly is."

The boy left the room.

Seto thought,"Twilight. Spike. You two sure have made this tournament ten times more interesting. I am glad that Mokuba branched out and made a new friend. If only all people were as nice as those two are. Twilight is the most unique girl I have met, to say the least. I may actually like......  Well I must be going. I have a duel with Yugi I have to go do. Luckily he isn't too far from here. Slifer will be mine!

So the two young boys left Kaiba Corp to go to the top of a building near the southern part of the city to try to find the hideout. Seto meanwhile followed Yugi's duel disk system too him.

While all of that was going on Sunset and Marik found themselves running into an old friend. The two were stopped in an alleyway by a young, white haired teenager with a golden ring around his neck.

"Get out of our way or you will be sorry," Marik said.

Marik and Sunset got out of the motorcycle. Sunset then realized who this man was.

"Still hunting for the Millennium items I see. It has been a while.........Bakura."

Bakura replied,"Yes it has Sunset. I knew I sensed a familiar force in the city. Who knew it would turn out to be Daddy's little princess. Who's that male with you? Your boy friend?"

Sunset got enraged. 

"No! We are not dating!  Ugh! Your just as annoying as ever"

"Toying with human emotions is one of my personal hobbies, but let's not get into that shall we."

"For once I agree with you. I suppose you stopped us because of the rod that my partner has?"

The white haired boy nodded.

Marik then entered the conversation,"You must be somewhat familiar with the ancient ways if you want my item so badly. Tell me Bakura, why do you want the rod?"

Bakura replied," Well, I am a collector of sorts. Once I posses all seven of the golden Millennium Items, I will control a power that will allow me to rule the entire world! So I ask you to hand over your item."

"My name is Marik Ishtar."

"I don't care."

"What if I told you I hand exclusive information of certain secrets. You can have the rod if you want, but, before I hand it over to you, you must do something for me."

Sunset whispered,"Ahem."

Marik then said, "I mean us. I, too, am a collector of sorts. Once I get what I covet, my item will be worthless to me."

"Why should I help?"

Sunset rejoined the conversation,"Because we know the locations of several of the items you seek including the Millennium Necklace held by Marik's sister."

"Perhaps there is a way all of us can work together."

"Exactly. We can help one another to get what we want!"

Marik then said,"With our combined powe,r no one, not even the Pharaoh, will be able to stop us! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Bakura than said,"Wait. Pharaoh. You too know him?"

Twilight's walkie talki then started to beep.

"Hello. Who is it?"

"It's Seto."

"Seto? How did you get your hands on Yugi or Spike's walki?"

"Actually Yugi is letting me borrow his."

"Oh. So where are you two now? Have you managed to find the others yet?"

"We are near the Domino Train Station. Also we didn't find the others yet. We just ran into some rare hunter creeps. Luckily I was there to bail Yugi out. Anywho I am calling to tell you that Spike is helping my brother with locating the rare hunters headquarters."

"Good thinking. If they do manage to find our friends first, then we can go and rescue them. Alright thanks Seto. I'll try to meet up with you guys later. Bye!"

Twilight then ended the call. Right after that happened she bumped into a tall girl with brown, wavy hair.

"Ow that hurt. Wait a second. Twilight!," the girl said.

Twi replied,"Is that you Vicky?"

"Yes!"

Vicky helped Twilight off the ground. Twi then wiped all of the dirt and dust off of herself. Vicky looked very anxious.

Twi asked,"How are you doing Vicky? It seemed so long ago when we last saw each other even though it was a few hours ago."

"I am doing great. I actually just got my nails done. Pretty aren't they. I actually had something to tell you"........HUH! I just remembered it! Spike and Mokuba are in danger!"

"What?! How?!"

"You see I was letting my nails dry when I suddenly heard a familiar sound.

"Help! Help! Someone! Anyone! Help us!"

Vicky arose from her deck and walked out on her balcony. She then noticed on a nearby rooftop that some cloaked guys were tying up Spike and Mokuba. She then looked up to see a helicopter above them too.

"Oh no! I must find Twilight. She will know what to do! Wait. Where can I find her? Aha! I'll just hack into the Kiaba Corp tracking system and find Twilight's duel disk signal!"

Back to reality.

"So I just hacked in, and located you, and now I'm here."

Twi then said,"Since when do you know how to hack into a secret, game company database?!"

"Twilight.,I am the daughter of a rich, mall tycoon. I can get into anything I want too, and I also had help from my brother Arnold who is a wiz at computers. Don't worry, Kaiba won't get mad. After all I just hacked in to find you so that we can save Spike and his brother. So we should warn Seto and Yugi. Where are they?"

"At the Domino Train Station."

"That's on the other side of town! There is no way we can make it there before those cloaked creeps do! They must be using them as bait somehow."

"Wait did they wear purple cloaks, and did some have a glowing, eye symbol on their forehead?"

"Now that you mention it,.....they did."

"Oh no! It was just as Yugi feared. I must contact them right away."

Twi turned on the Walki Talki, but couldn't reach anyone.

Vicky than said,"Maybe they are tied up at the moment. I would think that whoever kidnapped Mokuba and Spike must of lured them into a duel."

"Yes. That must be it. Vicky did you see where the helicopter was heading before you came down to find me?"

She nodded and then said,"It seemed to be headed towards the docks. Huh! That must be where their base is. It's the perfect place. Many boats don't come here during this time of the year. Come on Twilight."

She grabbed Twi's hand, and started to run towards the mall.

"Vicky! Where. Where. Where are we going?"

"To my place. My brother can help us sneak into the hideout. Come on it's only 15 blocks away."

"Yes only 15,"Twilight said with sarcasm.

Inside the hunter's hideout, Tea Gardner was sitting on the ground of a large storage room with a ton of empty cardboard boxes. Her mind was distant. She was trying to wrap her head around the recent events.

I cant believe this happening, Tea said to herself. I'm alone in who knows where without food or water. Plus I don't even know where Joey is. Huh! I hope he is alright. Why did those hooded creeps attack Namu, Joey, and me? They must want to use us for something. I just hope that Twilight, Spike, and Yugi are alright.

Suddenly the door opened. She then saw two boys being thrown right onto the boxes. Tea quickly moved out of the way to avoid getting hurt. The door was slammed and shut once they impacted the boxes.

"That sure hurt. You alright Spike?"

"Yes Mokuba. My head just hurts a bit. Wait, is that you Tea?"

The two boys then turned to see Tea in the corner. 

She then said,"Mokuba and Spike! How did you get here?"

The boys and Tea both explained what happened. Tea felt happy knowing that Twilight qualified for the finals. They also told her about how they were unconscious when they first got to the headquarters.  She then proposed to find a way to escape. 

Spike asked,"How in the world are we supposed to get out of this room?"

She replied,"Well look around. We have at least 100 boxes in here. We can construct them in a way that would allow us to escape through that window up there. Now let's get to work."

The boys nodded. The three spend 20 minutes building stairs out of the boxes. They had to position them just right so that they don't collapse. 

Tea whispered,"Ok. Now you two boys up first."

Spike was first. He climbed up the boxes and reached the window. Just as Spike reached the window, the door opened. He quickly jumped out of the window on to the dumpster below.

The Rare Hunters came in and tried to grab Tea and Mokuba. Mokuba was almost there when the hunters were trying to make the boxes collapse. Tea then quickly threw Mokuba up to the window.

Mokuba was at the window. "Tea!"

"Go. Go find Yugi and Twilight. I'll be fine. I know you can do it. Now go!"

He nodded and then jumped out of the window and onto the dumpster where Spike was.

"Where is Tea?," Spike asked.

"She gave up her chance to escape by helping me reach the window."

"Poor Tea."

After she threw Mokuba she collapsed off of the tower of boxes. Suddenly a bright, purple light appeared. It surrounded young Tea. It blinded the rare hunters for a moment. The light faded and Tea suddenly noticed a golden necklace with a purple diamond shaped gem on it. Before the hunters came back to life she quickly put it on. The hunters than took her away.

The two boys then heard the sound of a loud scream.

"Huh! That must of been Tea. I hope she is alright," Spike said concernedly.

"We have to do what she told me: go and find Yugi and Twilight. Come on!"

The two boys towards a dark alleyway and then made a plan there. They decided to go to Kaiba Corp to locate Yugi, Twilight, and Seto Kiaba.

Tea was in a dark room tied to a chair. She then noticed someone coming towards her.

"Who's there?"

She then identified the person once he stepped in to the light of a nearby lamp. 

"Joey! Thank goodness it's you! Now untie me, and let's get out of here."

He didn't respond.

"Joey? Is something wrong.................."

Suddenly behind her Marik was there using his rod to take over Tea's mind. In a matter of seconds she became a pawn of Marik and Sunset's plan. Joey too was under Marik's control. Once her mind was taken over the rare hunters untied her and she stood up. Her and Joey were still. There eyes were distant. They were like complete zombies! Sunset came in and noticed the necklace.

"How interesting. Look here Marik."

He then came over.

"That looks like..."

"An Element of Harmony. According to the information I gathered during my last trip to Equestria, that is the Element of Generosity held by Rarity."

"Seems to fit her well. Now we can just take it!"

Marik tried to remove the necklace but it started to glow and shocked him.

"Ow. Sunset what was that?"

"I suppose these elements can only be removed by their representatives. It makes sense. That's fine. They can't use the elements if she is our slave anyway. So this is the second to appear. Yugi Moto, and now Tea Gardner. Both of which are friends with Twilight and met her when she first came here. That's it!"

"What?"

"I think I have the identities of the remaining three representatives figured out. The only other three who are capable are Joey Wheeler, Tristan Taylor, and Seto Kaiba."

"Your are a genius Sunset. Now we must capture the remaining two before their elements appear. Odian!"

He came out of the shadows and into the light. 

"Sir."

"Since Kaiba is already being taken care of by Lumis and Umbra, send a group of hunters to search the city for whats his name...."

Sunset said,"Tristan."

"Ah yes Tristan. He is one I always forget.Now go."

He nodded and he left the room with the rare hunters.

"Marik our plan is going perfectly. The SOSMH is already in place, and we have our pawns already under our control. It will take about 24 hours till the SOSMH is ready to be used. Now I must prepare the dueling field."

"Wait. How do you know that those fools won?"

"Because Lumis and Umbra are complete idiots."

Sunset then exited the room.

Twilight and Vicky got help from Vicky's brother, Arnold, and were driving in a convertible on their way to the hideout. While driving Vicky saw Mokuba and Spike in an ally way. She parked the car, and the two girls went up to them.

Twilight was running towards the two.

"Spike! Mokuba! You are ok?!," Twi shouted. She then squeezed the two boys. 

Spike then said,"We are glad... to see you too."

Mokuba added,"But can you please stop hugging us. You are squeezing us to death!"

She stopped.

The four than discussed what happened. They then decided to go to the top of the building where Yugi and Seto were dueling. Vicky dropped the three off at the building, and decided to bring the car home and meet them at the hideout.

Twilight and the boys were on the elevator anxiously waiting to see Kaiba and Yugi.

Twi thought, Seto. Yugi. Yami. I. I. I just know you are ok. We are coming! 

The elevator stopped, and the doors opened.
