A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

It is a troubled time in the civilizations of the Equestrian Galaxy. A era of civil war has arisen, and the Rebellion has been trying to defeat the evil GALACTIC EMPIRE, whose corrupt and evil operations have made freedom and justice seem a thing of fantasy. Thankfully, one lucky Rebel spy has achieved his faction's goal by capturing the plans to the Empire's new super-weapon, an advantage which the Rebellion is anxious to exploit.

Princess Applejack (who, despite having roots in the Imperial hierarchy, is secretly working for the Rebels) has been put in charge of secretly transporting the plans. These plans belong to the Empire's aforementioned weapon, the hyper-destructive "DEATH STABLE" space station, which has enough power to vaporize an entire planet – and if the princess delivers the stolen plans in time, its most fatal flaws will be in the Rebellion's hooves.

The princess isn't safe from her enemies yet, however. Darth Vader, the Empress's right-hoof mare, is giving chase in an Imperial Star Trampler, and intends to get her hooves back on the blueprints before the Rebels do...
