It’s morning in the Crystal Empire, and Shining Armor and Princess Cadence have just woken up, ready for a new day. “I wonder whats going on the world championships?” Cadence asked as she turns on the TV.
Soon, DJ Pon-3 appears on the screen. “Thanks for tuning in!” She said. “Bringing you the most up to date coverage, this is a World Duel Championships News. In the Wold Duel Championships X, this is the latest. In A-Block, Equestria’s representatives, Team Star Swirl, have blasted away China’s representatives, Wang Hu Zhong, and Russia’s representatives, Lovushka. Not bad, not bad at all. Which means that these talented ponies now move on to the third round. That’s great news since they’ve come home to do it! That’s right! The world championships have finally come to Equestria! Their opponents are the African representatives, hailing from the country of Savanna, its Team Wild Fang! This team is an elite force made up of duelist selected from all over the world, and they’re led by the always mysterious Leone. As you all know, Leone originally challenged Andromeda Sparkle, the leader of Team Star Swirl, to a duel a few days before the Equestrian qualifying rounds began. This is yet another story of the rivalry between these two great unicorns, Andromeda and Leone. With Equestria as the stage, could the showdown between these two talented ponies be more exciting? I think not! Bring it on!”
“Sagittario…Sagittario is home!” A happy Cadence said.
“We better go down to Canterlot to see him and the others now!” Shining Armor said as the two leave.

A couple of hours later, Shining Armor and Cadence have just entered the streets of Canterlot, when Twilight and her family, friends and her friends’ families, along with Spitfire, Soarin, and Blaze, meet up with them. “Twily!” Shining Armor said when he sees his little sister and his nephew.
“Uncle Armor! Aunt Cadence!” Orion said as he gives the two a hug. “What are we waiting for?” Orion asked as he quickly runs toward the Canterlot airport.
“Still full of energy,” Cadence said as everyone else follows the young unicorn.
“Ah can’t wait to see Bismarck again!” A happy Bucky said out loud. “Ah wonder how much he and the others changed?”
“One way to find out,” Peach said as the get close to the airport.
“Yeah!” Blaze added as the four foals begins a race.
“Don’t they ever slow down?” Cadence asked as she and the others do their best to keep up.
“I’m afraid not,” Fluttershy said, when Orion smiles when he sees a few familiar faces.
“Guys!” Orion called out as he sees Team Star Swirl cross a bridge, getting their attention.
“Hey, Oreo! Peachy! Bucky! Blaze!” A happy Yu said as he runs down and hugs the four foals who are close to his age, while everyone else catches up.
“Welcome home,” Applejack said as she gives her son a big hug, along with Spitfire and Soarin for Firestorm, Twilight for Andromeda, Rainbow for Tempest, and Shining Armor and Cadence for Sagittario. Andromeda then rubs her brother's head.
“How have you been, bro?” Andromeda asked.
“Andi … welcome home!” Orion suddenly said as he jumps up and hugs Andromeda, unintentional making her lose her footing and the two tumble-down into the river. But the two are okay as they get up and begin laughing, putting a much-needed smile on Twilight’s face. “Welcome home, sis.”
“That’s right,” Andromeda said. “I’m home.”

Later, at Doughnut Joe’s, everyone is talking and caching up. “Of course we were watching your matches!” Orion said to them, making Star Swirl laugh a little. “In the duels with the Chinese team and the Russian team, everyone was totally amazing!”
“Naturally,” Sagittario said. “My moves were super cool. You have to agree, right?”
“Yeah,” Cherry said. “Like in the duel with Chao Xin, and … then there was the one with Chao Xin. And your Chao Xin duel.”
“Well, except for Bis-Biz, everyone, especially Sagittono, has only been in one match. That's the same as me, the sub,” Yu teasingly said.
“That’s because Sagittario got himself lost in the Russian wilderness,” Andromeda said.
“I told you not to mention that,” an embarrassed Sagittario said.
“The important thing is that you wear all able to make it back here without losing,” Twilight said.
“Now its time for the third round. We’re so excited for it!” Peach added.
“Yeah,” Andromeda said. “Its time to meet him face to face,” Andromeda added, remembering what Leone said to her before.

“Listen well. There’s only one pony in the world I want to defeat: it’s you, Andromeda! You alone.” Leone said as he points a hoof at Andromeda.

“He feels so strongly about this, then I will take him on just like all the others,” Andromeda said.
“Andromeda,” a surprise Twilight said.
“No fair!” Sagittario suddenly said. “I want to duel Leone too.”
“Sagittario!”
“Its simple, he’s their team leader, isn’t that right?” Sagittario asked. “In that case, I, the number 1 duelist, should be his opponent.”
“No!” Andromeda firmly said. “I am Leone’s opponent. And that’s final.”
“Why? It makes no sense,” Sagittario said.
“Of course it does,” Orion said. “After all, Leone even turned down his spot as one of Equestria’s representatives so he could duel Andromeda.”
“He worked through an unbelievably tough selection process just to get here,” Radiance added.
“There’s only one of us who can deal with Leone’s anger, and that’s Andromeda,”
“Yeah. Give your head a shake, Sagittono,” Yu added.
“You’re all ganging up on me,” Sagittario said, having been taken aback by their response.
“Sagittario, I’m sorry. This is something I won't give up,” Andromeda said to her cousin, who just pouts.

Later that day, at Canterlot’s main stadium. Team Star Swirl and Team Wild Fang are attending a press conference. “How’s it going?” DJ Pon-3 asked the reporters, while Twilight and everyone else watch from a corridor on Team Star Swirls side. “We will now begin the press conference for that upcoming duel between Team Star Swirl and Team Wild Fang.”
“I’ve been thinking,” Twilight whispered to the others. “Its probably rare to see somepony like Leone at a thing like this.”
“He’s probably doing everything he can to keep his focus on his match with Andi,” Cherry said.
“But I think the bigger question is,” Orion began to say. “How long can our pal will keep wearing that goofy costume? We all know its Taurus,” Orion said, referring to the Masked Bull, who's sitting at the far end of the table, looking very nervous.
“I guess we just watch and wait,” Peach said as she, Orion, Bucky and Blaze all wave at the Masked Bull.
The Masked Bull, seeing this, waves back. “Hi. Huh! I don’t know you!” He said as he slams his head down onto the table. Oh, no! I should’t have waved to them. B-b-b-b-b-b-bull! I’ll blow my cover. I’m not Taurus anymore. I’m Masked Bull. He thought as he looks back over two them, them still waving and yet laughing nervously. “I’m a mystery bull!”
“Okay, before mystery bull explodes, are there any questions out there for Team Wild Fang?” DJ Pon-3 asked the reporters.
“Uh, Leone, is it true that you refused a spot as one of Equestria’s representatives and joined the team from the country of Savanna just for a chance to duel with Andromeda?” One reporter asked.
“That is not important at all,” Leone replied.
“Huh? But I…” the reporter tried to say as Leone gets up.
“Just grab a ticket and come watch us duel!” Leone added. “Andromeda, you better be ready!”
“No problem!” Andromeda said as she gets up. “I was born ready.”
“So, is it on?” A reporter asked.
“Yes, it is. Andromeda verses Leone is going down!” DJ Pon-3 answered. “The ultimate showdown between unicorn duelist is a go. You heard it here first. Get the news out to your viewers, readers, kids, dogs, cats, and canaries. Tell the world!”
“This’ll be todays top news!” A reporter said as the paparazzi begin taking photos.
“No big surprise there that they’re getting the most attention,” Yu said to the other members of Star Swirl.
“It's only natural,” Firestorm added.
“Leone! The time has finally arrived,” the Masked Bull said as he gets up. “I’m just so happy for you!” He added as he begins to cry a river.
“The showdown we’ve all been dreaming about is a reality, and Taurus is weeping like a baby bull,” DJ Pon-3 said.
“Taurus? I don’t know any Taurus. I am Masked Bull!” Taurus said when he heard what Pon-3 said, while Orion, Bucky, Peach and Blaze just chuckle sheepishly.
“All that really matters is that the clash between these two great rivals will be a famous duel that goes down in history!” Pon-3 added.
“Who doe she think she is, saying that this duel will go down in history?” Sagittario suddenly asked as he gets up.
“Oh, this is bound to be so embarrassing,” Cadence said under her breath.
“Listen up, pal!” Sagittario said to Pon-3. “If it's a famous duel you want, then you're forgetting the name of one very important pony here.”
“And who would that be?”
“Me! That’s who!” Sagittario answered, while his parents hang their heads low. “I don’t have much of a choice, so I’ll let Andromeda take the duel with Leone. But I will show you an awesome duel to, really awesome. Hear me? I, the number 1 duelist, the amazing Sagittario, will make Andromeda and Leone’s duel look like a kids game of marbles. My opponent will be you! I challenge you, Nile!” Sagittario said as he points at Nile.
“Ha! You sure do make a lot of noise for a little guy,” Nile calmly said.
“Who are you calling little?! I’m big enough for you!” Sagittario said, when Nile suddenly puts his staff in Sagittario’s face, shutting him up.
“I don’t think so,” Nile said as he gets up. “I will teach you what a duel really means. Take a good look at my Sun Staff of Horus.”
“Ha! Big whoop!” Sagittario replied. “I think I’ll teach you something else, something about my incredible strength!”
“Oh, baby! Things are really heating up,” DJ Pon-3 said. “We now have a match between Sagittario and Nile, too.”
“Are you guys okay with this?” Yu asked Tempest, Firestorm and Bismarck while the reports all begin taking pictures again. “They just decided the pairings without even asking you three.”
“We’re okay with this,” Tempest said.
“Tomorrow’s gonna be awesome! How can anyone sleep tonight?” Pon-3 asked.

Later at Canterlot’s Royal Guard Training Center … “All right, dad. I got to practice to kick some Savanna flank tomorrow,” Sagittario said.
“Then lets get started,” Shining Armor said as he levitates two dummies. “You still need to work on your swordsmanship, so conjure one up.”
“Got it,” Sagittario said as he makes a sword appear. He charges, but the two dummies avoid each slash he does.
“You still have to hone your technique,” Shining Armor said. “You need to stay forced to maintain inner peace while enduring stressful challenges, such as balancing upside-down on a post in the midst of a storm, or in a duel,” he added as Sagittario tries to cut open the dummies over and over again.
“I am at peace!” Sagittario shouted as he throws his sword at one of the dummies, piercing it, making the sand in it fall out.
“Doesn’t look like it,” Shining Armor said as he pulls out the blade with his magic and levitates it back to Sagittario.
“Oh! I’m so looking forward to tomorrow!” A pumped Peach said as they all watch father and son train. “Seeing you guys duel is just the best!”
“Don’t get too excited, sis,” Flora said.
“Right,” Andromeda said. “After all, Sagittario is facing that Nile guy. Remember what he did in the duel with Mexicolt’s team?”
“Yeah,” Tempest said. “Do you think that his staff is like Julien’s sword?”
“Maybe,” Twilight said as she thinks hard. “I know I head the name ‘Hours’ somewhere before, but where?”
“Has anyone seen Firestorm?” Yu asked.
“I’m sure he’s off somewhere collecting his thoughts,” Radiance said.

Later, Sagittario and the others are taking a breather, discussing what Sagittario should do for tomorrow… At least thats the idea. “You got to be on the tips of your hoofs,” Yu said to Sagittario. “That Nile guy sure is mysterious.”
“That’s true,” Andromeda added. “Remember what he did the duel with Mexicolt’s team? The fight was over so quickly that there wasn’t any time to analyze his abilities.”
“Sagittario, don’t let your guard down,” Shining Armor said to his son. “Your opponent has never been defeated.”
“That’s great,” Sagittario said. “Because it means that the first guy to smash the undefeated record of Nile will be me. I’ll break through with Flash of Lightning. I’ll take the lead over Andromeda in the blink of an eye.”
“Did you say ‘over Andromeda’?” Orion asked while some of the others, specifically Yu, look on, stunned.
“Who exactly do you think you're fighting, Sagittario?” Twilight asked her nephew.
“Look, only one thing matters!” Sagittario said as he jumps up to his hoofs. “I’ll show you all that I’m the number 1 duelist.”

Elsewhere in Canterlot, Firestorm and Blaze are watching the sunset on a clue above the palace. “Andromeda and Leone, Sagittario and Nile, duels between truly powerful duelist can go either way.” Firestorm said.
“Yeah. If the duel gets complicated, then you could have to fight. But…” Blaze said, remembering what happened to her older brother the last time he dueled. “If that darkness happens again while you fight, it might decide whether the team wins or loses.”
“Thats why I want you there,” Firestorm said to his little sister. “I’m counting on you to bring me back if that happens. Please, for this one time, watch over me.”
“I will, big bro,” Blaze said as the two fly home.

Later that night, at the hotel Team Wild Fang are staying in, Leone is getting some sleep, Savanna is making some food while Taurus is eating it, Nitestone is meditating on the floor, and Nile and Sahara are on the balcony, watching the full moon in the night sky. “Sagittario Armor, huh?” Nile asked.
“I like to see that loudmouth try to make you use your full strength, bro,” Sahara said.

The next day at the arena, the stadium is packed. “It’s finally time,” Celestia said to her sister as the two watch from a royal booth.
“Yes. It’s been a long time coming.”
“Both teams have grown even stronger through the world championships, so there is no way of guessing on who is going to win this.”
“Yes, we can’t take our eyes off of the duel for even a moment.”
“Do your best, Star Swirl.”
“Welcome everyone to the World Duel Championships X!” DJ Pon-3 said to the audience. “The best in the world duel here. The third round of the A-Block begins now. As if you already didn’t know, the much-anticipated first duel will be between Sagittario and Nile!” She said as Nile and Leone do a hoof/fist bump before he leaves for the stadium.
“Nile,” Sahara said to her twin brother. “Go show the world that Celestia and Luna aren’t the only celestial siblings.”
“I will,” Nile said, while Sagittario walks out towards the stadium.
“Show ‘em who the boss is, Sagittario!” Andromeda said to her cousin.
“Yeah! Leave it to me!” Sagittario said.
“You can do it, Sagittario!” Orion cheered from the stands.
“You got to love a home game,” Sagittario said as he reaches the stadium. “Hearing the fans cheer for me just rocks.”
“Okay, time to find out if this guy can win the opening match and pass it on to Andromeda,” DJ Pon-3 said, which makes Sagittario extremely angry. “Everyone here is expecting a lot from Sagittario.”
“Hey!” Sagittario suddenly yelled at Pon-3. “What do you mean ‘opening match’!? I’m not just some added bonus included with Andromeda!”
“Try to focus, Sagittario!” Firestorm said.
“Take a deep breath,” Radiance added.
“Don’t hold back on me, okay pal?” Sagittario said to Nile. “I don’t want to win to easily, then no one would get excited about it.”
“You should try to keep your voice down,” Nile said to Sagittario.
“Why?”
“The more you talk big about yourself, the more embarrassed you’ll be when I beat you.” Nile answered.
“That’s it! Now I’ll show you what I’m made of, Nile!” Sagittario shouted.
“Sounds like they’re ready, so lets begin,” DJ Pon-3 said. “Ready!? Three … two … one … GO!” At the, Sagittario conjures up his sword and charges at Nile, who uses his staff to block the blade. “And they’re off! The first move is a head on collision of blade verses staff. Unbelievable,” she said as Sagittario makes the first move by backing off and heading right back in. He then begins to push Nile back with each slash of his sword, despite the fact that Nile is blocking each slash with his staff.
“Nile’s staff … is very unique. Mysterious, even,” Andromeda said as she begins the scan the staff. “For some reason, half of the staff is missing.” Nile than counters by smashing Sagittario back.
“Smack city! Nile counterattacks and Sagittario is pushed further and further back,” DJ Pon-3 said.
“Sagittario has got to pay attention to that staffs gem holder,” Andromeda said. “Not only is it sharp, it is also extremely durable, which makes it a deadly offensive weapon.”
“I’ll keep this up until you get a stadium out,” Nile said as he continues to push Sagittario back.
“I don’t think so! The real fight starts right now!” Sagittario said as he uses his sword to stop Nile’s swings, holding his ground. He then pushes Nile back and begins a relentless assault, pushing Nile to the edge of the stadium.
“Holy turntables!” DJ Pon-3 said. “This time, Sagittario delivers a powerful counterattack. Now will Nile be the one to lose without a stadium out?” She asked, when Nile’s smirks. Suddenly, right when Sagittario is about to push Nile out of the ring, he disappears in a flash of golden light, and reappears in the center of the ring behind Sagittario. “What!? What in the name of Celestia and Luna just happened?!”
“Yikes,” Nge, Savanna and Masked Bull all said.
“What just happened?” Yu asked.
“Amazing!” An astonished Andromeda said as she checks and rechecks her computers analyzed data again. “Nile’s staff is just like Julien’s sword! It allows him to use magic similar to unicorn magic!”
“That explains what happened in Mexicolt,” Firestorm said.
“Things sure are getting interesting,” a confident Sagittario said. “How do you like me now?”
“You do seem to have some power,” Nile responded.
“Come again!? What do you mean ‘some’?” Sagittario asked.
“Its just that, at that level, you cannot win against me and my Sun Staff of Hours.” Nile said as he shows his staff out for all to see. “Hours, the king of the sky who can see everything. The original king of Ancient Egypt, who both me and my sister are direct descendants of, having inherited his all mighty staff.”
“What is he talking about?” Cherry Pie asked.
“Forget that,” Applejack said. “Ah want to know where the hay Egypt is?” Applejack asked her alicorn friend, Twilight.
“They call it Nefertia now,” Twilight said.
“Oh, stop talking about someplace called ‘Egypt,’” a slightly confused and annoyed Sagittario said.
“Now you shall feel the power of the great desert!” Nile added.
“Bring it on, sand guy! Come at me anyway you like,” Sagittario arrogantly said.
“Take it easy, Sagittario.”
“Can you not take the bait so fast? For just once?” Tempest and Yu both said.
“Don’t bug me!” Sagittario said to them. “If my opponent makes me use 100%, then I’ll go even higher and defeat him with 120%! That's how the number 1 duelist fights his battles.”
“Ha! You're only number 1 at shooting your mouth off,” an annoyed Nile said.
“Spread your wings, Nile!” Sahara said from the booth.
“I intend to!” Nile said back as he aims his staff at Sagittario. Suddenly, blasts are shot from the staffs tip at Sagittario, who does his best to avoid them.
“Look out, Sagittario!” Both Shining Armor and Princess Cadence said, while DJ Pon-3 just gasps in complete shock.
“What are we seeing here!?” Pon-3 asked as Sagittario does his best to avoid the blasts.
“Its wind!” Andromeda suddenly said, getting her teammates attention. “I just can’t believe it! The magic gem at the staffs tip is firing air like blasts from a vulcan cannon.”
“That’s more like it!” Sagittario said as he continues to avoid the air blasts. “Thats the stuff that’ll get everyone talking. But something like that won't get to me. Not even for a second!” Sagittario said as he begins to run while he avoids all of the air blasts.
“How did he do that?”
“How was he able to dodge those blasts?” Taurus and Savanna both asked.
“Attaboy, Sagittario! Keep it up and charge right through!” Shining Armor cheered from the stands.
“You gave him your old crystal horseshoes, didn’t you?” Twilight asked him.
“I see now,” Nge suddenly said as he looks closely at Sagittario’s hoofs. “Because of the unique properties of the crystal horseshoes that he’s wearing, they give Sagittario an increase in stamina while, at the same time, they give him the spring in his step he needs to avoid Nile’s blasts.”
“You’re better then I thought,” Nile said as he ceases the vulcan blasts.
“Naturally,” Sagittario arrogantly said. “I’m the worlds strongest, number 1 duelist after all. Didn’t I mention that earlier?”
“Whatever,” Nile said. “I’m not yet using my full strength.”
“Say what?”
“They eye of Hours, the king of the sky, remains closed,” Nile said.
“Stop babbling like a monkey already!” An annoyed Sagittario shouted. “If you're the king of the sky, than I’m the prince of crystals. I’ll send you flying with the hardest of all horns!” Sagittario said as he charges at Nile.
“More like the hardest of all heads. But I wouldn’t count on it,” Nile said as a small silver glow appears in the gem, which makes both the gem and the metal of his staff begin glowing a dazzling gold.
“What!?” Tempest said when he and the others see this.
“There’s a smaller gem inside the gold one,” Andromeda said as she checks her computer. “When that gem begins to glow silver, it sends power outward to the rest of the staff and into Nile, making him far stronger.”
“Both me and my sister, being his direct descendants, posses the two pieces of the Staff of Hours, each one representing an eye,” Nile continued. “Hours, the king who possesses an eye of both the sun and the moon!”
“What!?” Both Celestia and Luna asked when Nile says this.
“Sorry, but I’m not exactly impressed by royalty, especially foreign ones,” Sagittario said as he speeds up with his attack.
“Now is the time for the king to descend to the earth,” Sahara said. “Do it, Nile!” She said as the glow from Nile’s staff intensifies. Nile, with a simple hit from his staff, and sends Sagittario flying back.
“No way!” A shocked Sagittario asked.
“Bouncing headbands!” DJ Pon-3 said when she sees this. “Nile blew Sagittario away with sheer power!”
“You’re right, Andromeda,” Firestorm said. “His power is now much stronger than before.”
“Stand your ground, Sagittario!” Both Shining Armor and Cadence said from the stands.
“Do you have the power to rise above this, Sagittario?” Nile asked the stunned unicorn. “If you’re gonna call yourself ‘number 1,’ then try to hit us back.”
“Us?”
“Even though this a one-on-one duel, when you fight with me you also fight with my sister, Sahara,” Nile said. “In other words, when you fight one of us…”
“You fight both of us,” Sahara finished.
“Whatever! And you call that nonsense ‘power’? That was a draft from an open door,” Sagittario retorted. “I’ll show you power!” He said as he charges at Nile again, but Nile just simply hits Sagittario with his staff and sends him back. “That’s not all!” Sagittario said as he charges at Nile yet again, but Nile just hits Sagittario with his staff and sends him back again. “One more time!” Sagittario said as he charges at Nile yet again, but Nile just hits Sagittario with his staff and sends him back … again. “Again!” Sagittario said as the process repeats. “It can’t … It can't be! Why isn’t this working at all?” Sagittario asked himself, completely in denial.
“It’s only natural,” Nile said. “Before the king of the sky, Hours, there’s no way moves like yours would work. Now do you feel ridiculous for calling yourself number 1?” Nile asked as he fires a magical blast at Sagittario, sending him flying to he edge of the stadium. He’s not even fully recovered as he runs back into the ring when, without mercy, Nile fires another blast at Sagittario.
“No way! Why? Why is this happening!?” Sagittario asked as he begins to doubt himself.
“I cannot believe Sagittario is so overmatched here,” Orion said as he and everyone else watches in shock.
“Looking good, Nile baby!” Taurus cheered as he squeezes Nge again, choking him.
“I’ve never seen Sagittono act like this,” a disbelieving Yu said.
“It's a shock to see Sagittario pushed so far into a corner,” Firestorm added.
“Hang in there, Sagittario!”
“Sagittario!” Radiance and Tempest both said as Nile continues to fire blast after blast of gold colors magic at Sagittario.
“No! No!” Sagittario said as he hits the ground. “What should I do? What should I do?”
“Don’t give up!” Andromeda suddenly said, getting Sagittario’s attention. “What happened to the epic duel you were gonna have? Weren't you gonna have a more amazing duel than me so you can stand out?”
“Andi…”
“The number 1 duelist doesn’t give up. That's not how he rolls!” Andromeda added.
“Number 1? She’s right,” Sagittario said as he slowly gets up. “Number 1. I have to be number 1! Like I said!”
“Sagittario!” His entire team said.
“I’m not quitting!” Sagittario said as he gets up and faces his teammates. “I haven’t lost yet. I’ll show you guys the most dramatic turnaround ever!”
“Yeah!” They all happily said as Sagittario turns around and charges at Nile at full speed.
“I have to focus all of my power into one point to break through that wall!” Sagittario said. “Crystal spell: Flash of Lightning!” He shouted as his sword begins to emit large amounts of lighting as he charges at Nile.
“Thats it!”
“Go for it, Sagittario!” Both Cadence and Shining Armor cheered.
“Not good!” The Masked Bull said. “Thats the spell that Sagittario used to defeat Yu’s Inferno Blast.”
“Not good enough,” Sahara said.
“Huh?”
“You get some points for making me use my full power,” Nile simply said. “However, that moment of joy shall be your last! Mystic Sun Zone!” Nile shouted as a circle of magic plates, all of them glowing gold, appears around him right as the tip of Sagittario’s blade was about to hit. When Sagittario’s blade does hit the barrier, a large amount of energy is generated, causing a shockwave. Everyone just stares at the sight in complete and total shock.
“It’s all over,” DJ Pon-3 sadly said. “The winner is Nile. The first match is taken by Team Wild Fang.”
“Yes, sir!”
“Well, done!” Taurus and Nge both said.
“I can’t believe this,” Cadence said as she, Shining Armor, Twilight, Flash and Orion all run down to the stadium.
“Sagittario actually lost!” A disbelieving Bismarck said as Team Star Swirl all run towards their friend.
“I lost,” A completely crushed Sagittario said. “My crystal spell was broken. Who’s number 1? After losing like that, how can I be number 1? I wanted to be the best and now I … I just have to be the best.” Sagittario cried as he mother and father reach him first.
“Sagittario!” They both said as the others arrive.
“Now do you understand?” Nile suddenly asked. “In the world championships, everyone is aiming for the top and putting all their heart and soul into it. Those who call themselves ‘number 1’ before it’s decided are doomed to fail from the start.”
“Grrr!” Escaped from Shining Armor and Cadence’s mouths before they turn to their son again.
