"Hi! My name is StarShine!" I chirped happily to one of the guards passing by.
"And what are you doing, StarShine?" The guard asked me.
"Looking for mommy. Do you know where she is?" I asked him.
"Princesses Luna and Twilight are in their rooms, would you like me to walk with you there?" He asked.
"Nope!" I yelled as i ran towards mom's room. I ran through the halls that were so familiar to me, i could run through them with my eyes closed. It was cool and dimly lit by mom's moonlight. I opened my wings and closed my eyes, trying to concentrate on flying, something i still needed to learn.
"STARSHINE! WATCH WHERE YOU ARE GOING!" I heard someone yell. I stopped, closed my wings, opened my eyes, and turned around slowly. I saw my aunt Celestia, and shrunk. I knew i was in trouble
"Sorry aunty Tia." I tried
"You need to watch where you're going Star, you almost ran into me, and two guards. Keep your eyes open and WALK through the corridors, okay?"
"Okay aunty Tia, I'll be more careful. And i wont run through the halls anymore." I said, knowing i was lying about that last part.
"Good. Now, where are you going?" She asked
"Looking for mommy!" I chirped as i started walking away. I felt a tingly sensation cover my whole body and knew what was happening. Mom does this all the time with me. I slowly walked back to Aunt Tia as she completed the teleportation spell. I heard a snap as we zapped from the hallway to mom's room. I heard what sounded like two ponys screaming when aunty and I zapped into the room. I started laughing when i saw mom's face, and aunty looked scared or surprised. After a while, she said,
"Did we..Umm.. Interrupt something, Lulu?"
"Sister, why did you bring our child to us at this time of night?" Mommy asked aunty Tia.
"She was running through the halls, looking for you two."
"Sweetie, why were you looking for us?" Mommy asked me.
"I had a bad dream and then i wanted to sleep with you guys and then i tried to fly and ran into aunty Tia." I said with a smile.
"YOU TRIED TO WHAT!" Mom and mommy said at the same time.
"ONE OF YOU SAY JINX!" I yelled.
"And i tried to fly." I added.
"You shouldn't try to fly by yourself StarShine, you could get hurt. I know, I've tried." Said mom with a smile.
"Twi, you're STILL bad at flying!" Said mommy.
"Shut up!"
"Make me!"
"Will do!" I felt the tingly sensation and was zapped to aunt Tia's room, before mommy and mom said anything else.
"Never again am i going into that room this time of night." Aunt Tia whispered.
"Why are you whispering?" I asked her.
"Because I can, now go to bed." She said, as she levitated me to her bed. "Nighty night aunty Tia, dont let the parasprites bite." I said as i fell asleep.

I felt somepony shaking my shoulder, and slowly opened my eyes.
"Wake up StarShine, time to see mommy lower the moon." Mom said in a soft, quiet voice. I groaned and rolled over, noticing i was not in my own room. I panicked and started to cry.
"Where am i?" I cried, burying my face in mom's soft, lavender coat.
"You're in Aunty Celestia's room, StarShine, i guess she didnt bring you to your room last night." Mom said. I remembered falling asleep in aunt Tia's room, after mommy and mom were playing. I slowly got up and went to the door. I tried to open it with magic. I closed my eyes and concentrated on the doorknob, just like mom told me. I heard mom laugh and i opened my eyes, and saw that she had already opened the door for me. I hid behind my mane and felt my cheeks turn red. I slowly walked out of the room and started to walk to mom's room. I felt her pick me up in her magic and place me on her back. I drifted off to sleep as she trotted through the castle halls. I woke up to the sunshine in my face, and realized i missed mommy lower the moon, something i was going to do someday.
"I missed it again!" I said, stomping my hoof on the bed. Mommy laughed and levitated her big crown towards my head. She placed it on my head, right in front of my horn. It slid down my face and i heard mom and mommy laugh. I started to laugh with them, and forgot what i was laughing about.
"Luna, did you apologize to Celestia yet?" Mom asked mommy.
"For what? I didnt do anything!" Mommy said. Mom sighed, and said, "For last night?" Mommy looked confused, and then said
"Oh..that.."
"Why would you need to a-po-lo-gize?" I asked, "You two were just playing!" I said with a smile.
"You will understand when you are older," mommy said,
"And AppleBloom and Scootaloo are coming over today, with Rainbow Dash and Apple Jack."
"YAY!" I shouted, flapping my wings. Applebloom and scootaloo were my best friends, they were only four years older than me. They're twelve and im eight. We have so much fun together!
"When are they coming?" I asked excitedly.
"Right after breakfast."
"Well let's go eat then!" I shouted as i ran towards the dining hall.

We waited at the train station for EVER! "Is the train here yet?" I whined.
"It will be here soon, StarShine, just wait." Said mommy. I saw the train and started to jump.
"Is that the train from Ponyville?" I asked excitedly.
"We'll see in a few minutes." Mom said. The train stopped at the platform and we watched as the ponys got off. I saw two fillies step on to the platform. One was a yellow-white colour with a red mane, the other a bright orange with a purpley mane.
"SCOOTALOO, APPLEBLOOM! OVER HERE!" I yelled at them. They turned their heads and both smiled huge smiles. They ran over to me.
"Ah haven't seen ya'll in forever!" Applebloom exclaimed.
"Yeah! We've been waiting FOREVER to see you!" Yelled scootaloo.
"We're going to have so much fun!" I exclaimed.
"Howdy Star, how have y'all been?" Asked Applejack.
"AWESOME!" I yelled, jumping and fluttering my small wings. Rainbow Dash flew up to me and hovered just above me, making me look up to see her.
"So are you flying yet or do i have to teach you?" Said Dash.
"I'm trying to learn but i can’t!" I said, stomping my hoof.
"Every pony! Why don't we go back to the castle and rest up a bit. Before some pony gets hurt." Mom said.
"But Twiiiillliiiggggghhtttt!" Said Rainbow Dash.
"Rainbow now please." Mom said, walking towards the castle.
"Hey, scoot, bloom, beat ya there!" I called, galloping off to the castle.
"WAIT FOR US!" They yelled, laughing and starting to catch up.

"So did you and luna tell her yet?" I heard Applejack ask mom.
"No, not yet. We will soon enough though." Mom said.
"Tell me what?" I asked, curious as to what they were talking about.
"You'll see in a bit sweetie." Mommy said. Mom seemed a little upset today, she's been upset all week.
"Okay." I chirped and trotted off to find applebloom and scootaloo.
"Applebloom! scootaloo! Where are you!" I yelled as i trotted down the halls.
"BOO!" I heard as i turned the corner. I screamed, but laughed when i saw that it was only applebloom and scootaloo.
"Nice one, guys." I said laughing.
"NO PONY APPRECIATES MAGIC ANYMORE!" I heard what sounded like mom yell. Scootaloo and Applebloom looked at me, and i looked back at them.
"Let's go see whats wrong." I said.
"Good idea." Scootaloo agreed.
